I ventured over to Ottawa Trainyards to check it out. I didn't really need anything, but I did get…read moresome cool items. While waiting for the traffic lights to change, I liked seeing a store directory. I came here without any knowledge of the stores here. I liked coming here to figure it out. The Trainyards is like Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga. It is a bunch of stores that cover a lot of land. Think of it as a neighbourhood of stores. You have to strategically figure out where to park and walk to the stores that are around you. During my visit, I parked a grand total of three times. I stopped by Michaels and got some good items that were on sale. I was a happy shopper! I then parked in front of the Gap outlet. I also visited Old Navy and Sail that were on either side of the store. I then decided to drive and check out what other stores were there. I spotted Kettleman's Bagel Co. and parked to have lunch. The selection of stores is cool. If you are more of a mall shopper, this setup may not be for you. If you do like box stores, you'd like it here. My only problem I had was dealing with a woman in a minivan who was waiting for me to leave my spot to pull through. She actually honked at me. I didn't appreciate it and gave her a signal to say that I was staying. I was pulling up my GPS and I was under no obligation to move out of a parking spot to convenience an impatient idiot. (289)

Hey! This is a big mall! Way bigger and better than I remembered it. I guess it's been a while…read more.. and about time we came back! There's a Kettleman's Bagel shop here; wish we had one in Kanata / Stittsville! The mall was big enough to be inviting to return. We will definitely come back! And I will update this review when we do.

Giving a 1 star review is over rating. "I purchased this sofa set expecting high quality and…read moredurability, given its so high price tag. Initially, it looked great and felt comfortable, but after only 1 month of use, the cushions lost their shape and became flat, the fabric started to wear down and fray, and the frame developed squeaks. For such an expensive set, I expected much better durability. I've tried to reach out to customer service, but I didn't receive the support I anticipated. It's incredibly frustrating to invest so much in a sofa that just can't hold up to normal use. I'm very disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend it to anyone, especially considering the price point. There are far better options out there for the money."

They delivered to my home and I found the 3 seater faulty wood. So, I did not take it. they took it back and then delivered again a faulty one. I did not take this also. then they said "come to our store, we will open the sofa for you, then you can check, we will deliver after that". I went to their store today (Saturday), checked and found the sofa faulty again. They told me to go their again on coming Wednesday. I live 35 km far from the store. its wasting of my time, harassing me a lot.. I will not buy anything from here for sure.. Is there any authority so I can complain against them? they dont seem to be honest businessmen..

Walmart - This Walmart has an impressive imported foods selection. Interesting drinks from India.

I really enjoyed my shopping experience at this Walmart. I don't frequently visit the super center…read moreWalmarts (I find it just a bit too much for me...and don't get me started on the Trainyards location), but this Walmart was very quiet on a weeknight. The entrance was big, spacious and clean. Easy to navigate around the store. I came here to buy Christmas lights. Found them quickly, and also found a lot of other Christmas goodies that were half the price compared to their competitors. Self checkout was seamless. No complaints.

Five stars for a Walmart?!? It's a Walmart. However, it is cleaner, better stocked and less crowded…read morethan other Walmarts in Ottawa. They have a good selection of imported/exotic products. They have a surprisingly good selection of snacks from the UK, especially chocolates. And they are much cheaper than specialty candy stores. They carry Tunnock's brand items from the UK: Snowballs, Tea Cakes and Caramel Wafer Biscuits! I love these. They also have a good selection of Asian products. They have Turtle Chips from Korea! They also carry my favourite ramen brand from Korea: Buldak! Oh yeah, bring on that fire chicken! Haha. They have the largest selection of Buldak flavours I've seen outside of an Asian grocery store. Their regular mainstream items are reasonably priced and they often have sale items in-stock. Their pharmacists are competent and diligent. My parents get their prescriptions filled at this Walmart, and without going into the specifics, I can say that my interactions with the pharmacy staff in straightening out issues related to prescribers not being as clear as they could have been, have been positive. I have been impressed with their professionalism and committment to getting things right. Not all Walmarts are equal. This one is better than the rest. Lots of free parking, obviously.

So Metro is a grocery store and it's the third largest grocer in Canada (after Loblaws and Sobeys)…read more This location is smaller than the one not too far away on Innes at Tenth Line, but I go here to run errands for my parents because firstly it's closer to their house, and secondly I've boycotted the Innes location due to poor customer service. Overall, it is my perception that staff at Metro are generally not as friendly or cheerful as staff at Loblaws. Prices at Metro are also generally higher than other comparable chain grocery stores. Although, admittedly, their deals on prepared foods are quite good. They will occasionally have a Family Meal Deal where you get a roasted chicken, a pound of ribs, a large box of potato wedges and 2 tubs of salad (a pound each, with choices like coleslaw, potato or macaroni) for $20. Their pizzas are also not bad. Oh, there is one thing that I like about Metro more than Loblaws: their house brand "Selection" puff pastry is AMAZING! It's flakey and puffy, but not oily nor greasy. Loblaws' house brand "President's Choice" puff pastry is super heavy and oily/greasy. So I guess prepared foods and puff pastry, is why I like Metro, lol. This location is in a plaza, so lots of free parking.

The cashier (young girl) was not very friendly, never said a word the whole time she rang my articles, no hello, no good bye and no smile. I guess I'll keep going to the Independent and Farm Boy for my meat which is a better quality.
