A very poor shopping experience. The food quality at this location was very poor at this location and some of the items on the shelves were expired. Some of the food products on the shelves weren't in the best condition and some of the shelves weren't restocked or they weren't properly restocked because they were filled with expired items. The service at this location was very mediocre and some of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there and the staff were checking out customers very slowly. The cleanliness at this location was okay but there were a few minor safety issues because the floor was slippery and slightly dirty. The price at this location was okay but some items were slightly overpriced at this location. For the reasons that I have stated in this review, I recommend that you avoid this location because of the mediocre staff and service, and the poor food quality. read more

One of my favorite grocery stores. They're got everything you need for a quick one stop area. It includes grocery, deli, home appliances, joe fresh and medical. With COVID the line ups on weekends are extremely long but around 10am they have a policy where they have every cash open so you're able to check out a lot faster. All the workers there are extremely helpful. Bonus if you have a PC points card, you'll be able to rack up so many points that can eventually pay for your groceries. read more

I like this Real Canadian Superstore location. It is much bigger than the one in Westboro. It has a large Joe Fresh section. Although the men's section is kind of small. The women's section is big though. There's always clothes on clearance, and sometimes at unbelievable prices. My dad got a pair of shorts here for $0.94! Granted it was in the autumn and they were getting rid of their summer stuff. The cosmetics section here is good, considering it's a supermarket. They sell Demeter perfumes!! How cool is that? They also carry E.L.F. cosmetics. They have toys and housewares too. Their health food section is also large and they carry interesting items. There is an optical here too. They have washrooms upstairs. They have a lot of self check outs. I go grocery shopping often, so I usually don't buy a lot at a time. I prefer to self check out, so this is good for me. Those who don't like self check out shouldn't go here in the evenings as they usually only have 1 cash register open after 8pm. This superstore is really big. That being said the store is not the cleanest. The prices aren't the best either. The worst part is the cashiers are the slowest in all of Orleans. Compared to any other grocery store this is the one that takes me the most just to pay. It's always busy but they never have enough staff. On the plus side they have good variety and specific things you might not find in other stores. They also give pc points so if you're collecting those it's worth the visit. As far as I know they also price match other stores (at least loblaws) so if you find a better price there it's worth mentioning. I usually go there for fruits and vegetables. Their meat is too expensive for no reason at all. It's not better than what the other guys are selling. Their bread department is a mess. By far the worst I've seen. read more

THE SUPERSTORE MISSLEAD CUSTOMERS OF FLYERS ADVERTISEMENT!! this probably happened to you too! in the first week of August, I went to the superstore 3 times to buy the advertised flyer sale of the (AA or better) strip-loin grilling steak sale. every time I asked for the sale, they said they were out and asked me to come back tomorrow. on the third attempt I instead sent my son. the same happened. I called the manager to inquire about the problem, they offered to give us a rain check to extend the sale for us for 30 days. I returned to the store for the 4th time with my rain check wasted 45 minutes of my time, they refused to honor the rain check--their reasoning was the sale was for AA or Better cut and they won't be able to honor the sale price because they only have triple AAA now. they stuck with their decision. I argued that their sale was double AA OR BETTER. they said that doesn't mean AAA. it is suffice to say:THE SUPERSTORE DOES NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM LINE. They provide a lot of variety, and they are competitive with the other stores. I also appreciate that they price match. They are also friendly, and they are working hard to protect their staff and customers during this Covid crisis. I also like to go to my local store, but this place is an important part of my grocery shopping. read more

Ah! This place is MASSIVE! Quite possibly the largest grocery store I've been in. There's some good things about this place, but it's almost too gigantic of a place for me to want to frequently shop at. The Joe Fresh section is the biggest I think I've seen in Ottawa. The cosmetics/pharmacy area is also massive. The layout throws me a bit since it's arranged in horizontal aisles instead of vertical - why would they so that?! Ah! I grabbed some essentials here and also ate a quick lunch upstairs, which I have to say was pretty bleak. They don't have wifi and it's pretty dreary up there. Nevertheless, it's a great place to people watch! If I was looking for something specific I would come here, but otherwise prefer to shop in a smaller store (unless I'm here for Joe Fresh!). read more

This is a huge Superstore, with some extra great deals on produce. The imported foods aisle (formerly known as the international food aisle) is well stocked, albeit a bit disorganized. I've noticed some Superstore locations have been integrating the products from the international food aisles into the other sections of the store. This location has not done that, which I like. I'm usually looking for Caribbean ingredients, and am usually able to find what I need. Today I noticed they have three different ginger beer brands, which is a lot more than I am used to seeing. The Joe Fresh section in this location is quite large, and about a third of the store is non-food items (they have patio furniture and Christmas trees and homewares and other such stuff). Like other Superstore locations, this one has all lanes open during peak weekend hours, so I didn't have to wait in line at the checkout at all. Bonus! This location has a gas station in the parking lot, as well as a garden centre during warmer months. read more

Superstore is my favourite grocery store in Orleans. They sometimes have really good deals not advertised in the flyers. I bought some St. Hubert pot pies for only $2, packaged deli meat is sometimes only $1, and I got a box of 4 ice cream bars for $1.50 not too long ago. The prices are good if you are on a budget. Also, when things are about to expire, they mark them down 30% off. A good deal if you are going to eat it right away anyway, or you can freeze it like I do. Staff are nice and friendly too. read more

This place irritates me more & more every time I come here. I'm not sure when the shelves are supposed to be stocked, but they are sure as hell empty no matter what time of they day I am there. But if you need baby clothes,or anything else completely unrelated to groceries, the shelves are always abundantly stocked. Way to go Superstore! read more

Bought cucumbers and when I got home opened package the other side was alll rotten and I wasn't able to return them as per the cashier it's been over 24 hours. She said they rot well I'm sorry they should NOT rot in 24 hours and if they do then don't sell a package because no one eats 5-6 cucumbers within 24 hours read more

Don't use click and collect with these guys. They don't train their employees. The employees pick rotten vegetables and pack meat with other food like dairy. Wow! read more

During these tough times the stores are supposed to have special times for seniors to shop.My father went into the store just before 7:30 and got in line to checkout before 8:00 am,he then had to wait in line to checkout for over 1 hour.The store is supposed to not allow to many people in stores until others have left so lines at checkout are not over 1 hour,especially for seniors.My dad is almost 86 with 2 artificial knees,so standing for a long period is very difficult.I contacted the store several hours after hearing this and asked to speak to the store manager,they said Brian was the manager,so I got him on the line and started telling him the story and after a minute or so he hung up on me,pretty sad...I then called head office and told them what happened and they where not pleased the way my father was treated.They also told me the true manager of the store was Jason.I asked if there was any compensation they could give to my father and they said no but Jason the store manager could help me in that regard.Hopefuly I hear back from him as promised. read more

Attention Jeff Wills I was very surprise that when I bought 2 cans of tomato sauce marked 4 for $5.00 that when I only bought 2 that I was charged the full price of them . The notice did not indicate that I must buy 4 to get the discount. I have never crossed this before any other stores. To me this is poor advertising and this is what you push. I did buy them at regular as I was pressed for time and was unable to go elsewhere.Next time make sure the proper amount is written appropriately.
