Afterwards, I typically pop by Dollar Tree to browse and shop. I was in the area the other day and decided to drop by. I prefer Dollar Tree to Dollarama. I like the selection and everything is $1.25. At the latter, there are items that even go for $4.25. What's the point of being a dollar store if you are paying dollars for a single item? I suppose that we can blame our Canadian dollar competing with the American one when it comes to Dollarama pricing. Anyway, this Dollar Tree is the only one in Markham. I love the selection of items, from sardines, to dumplings and chicken in cans. I also love the noodle section. The seasonal section is awesome. Easter is nearly here. You can get scented Easter bunny plush toys and a ton of chocolate items. Nice! Staff are friendly. I managed to witness two staff members training a new one. They were much younger than the new hire, but were incredibly supportive of her progress. I still miss the awesomeness of Dollar Tree in the States. Perhaps one day, the frozen food section will magically appear in Canadian stores. In the meantime, I am pleased to get decent items that are cheap and of good quality here. (132)

Shelves are truly completely filled all the time, and I find this is one of those Dollaramas that you always find what you're looking for. I honestly wish I could rate it 5 stars, but unfortunately, I can only give 3- the cashiers at this location are EXTREMELY slow, and I've noticed that they are not well-trained in general with the registers. It's very annoying because there have been time where I've waited 20+ minutes in line waiting to have my products cashed out. When I have my 15 minute break at work, I barely have any time usually to grab a quick snack at Dollarama. This is all because of these cashiers! Even when every cash aisles are open, there are still very long lines. So, my advice- If you have time to kill and you don't mind waiting in lines every once in a while, this Dollarama will usually always have what you're looking for, which is great!

Little items are not to be found though so got to go to another Best Shop. Prices aren't cheap but the convenience factor is there. There seems to be a lot of elements on sale. Parking is a little bit hard to find so park further and walk over.

A store that seems to cater more to adult shoppers than those who are in middle school, high school, or college/university students. Locke library just southeast of there. Definitely a visit especially with being a large location right on Yonge Street, with the cost of real estate skyrocketing.
