    I purchased a fridge they got it to the driveway and said it had a dent. Didn't give us a chance to…read morekeep this fridge until another arrived. Alas no fridge since then it's been a week since they took the "apparently"dented one that made it too our driveway. I called last night as I was promised a delivery today but was told by the service manager that they don't have one in, and I would have to wait another week. I ordered this over the phone but after inquiring how I could cansel the order I have to go in. These people are truly slimy. The Brick as a company need to shake that store up fire them all and hire again.

    Bought a sectional sofa this year, it was delivered by the guys from Bricks but never bothered to…read moreassemble it. It turned out it has a defect. We called the store right away on the same day and told us they will inform the technician to come and fix it. Few weeks after that call, no technician called. We called the store again few times during those weeks. Fast forward...a technician came finally after more than a month. This technician never called us at all to set up an appointment. He called 20 minutes before he got to our place. Fortunately, my son was home at that time since it's their break, but what if nobody was home? I was at work and so is my husband. I called the Bricks with regards to this and OMG here comes the lady with a very rude attitude and saying why do we have to call them, lol! They were the one who supposed to get in contact with the technician not us. Plus the technician never called us at all! The technician then check the defect, got it "fixed" without us inside the house and only a minor was present. Never got a call from the technician as to whether he managed to fix the sofa or not. We just found out from my son. We checked the sofa when we got home. The sofa isn't fixed. He managed to connect the metal to connect the sofa together but seems like he just forced it and the leg of the sofa is hanging away from the floor. You can fit your fingers between the sofa and the floor. Me and my husband always wonder why there are no customers in the store, only one or two. Now we know. Customer service isn't the greatest esp if you are being assisted by the same lady. She needs to change her attitude whoever that is. She is not fit to work in the customer service. If that was the same lady who showed us the available sofa one time when we went there, i am glad we didn't get it from her. She is just rude and needs some training in customer service. Also, no more BRICKS for us. We will stick to Leon's or Tepperman's next time!

    Recommended...and not recommended…read more Let me premise by saying I wish I could give Tepperman's 5 stars, especially to the local Chatham Store which has been nothing but amazing every time. I moved from BC to Chatham last year and had to refurnish my entire house. Glad to say Tepperman's filled a large portion of that piece and the sales staff and desk staff were always helpful and were always there when we needed them. Thank you! LOCAL CHATHAM STORE: Amazing Team and huge shout out to Justin Prince. Always knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. In fact Justin was able to help me in 15 minutes what it took Tepperman's Customer Care over 1. Thank you, Justin, for going the extra mile, and essentially saving a customer. NOT RECOMMENDED: As mentioned above, the local store is absolutely amazing. I did have the unfortunate experience dealing with their Customer Care. They admitted to me, on their recorded line, which I asked if it was, that they denied my one and only claim while NOT having all the information. Only when I challenged them on the denial, that they admitted to not asking all the details, but still denied my claim despite it, without a chance to discuss, or ask for additional information. So, either Customer Care at Tepperman's is incompetent, or they are mandated to deny your claim immediately, even without all the information or missing the information and seem to have no obligation to ask, or dig deeper to help you. To add insult to injury here, this was my one and only claim for all the items I purchased throughout the year. Customer Care should thank Justin and the local team because on the heels of Customer Care I asked the store to cancel the larger order that I still have not received yet. Thank you Justin and thank you to the local Chatham store for actually listening and wanting to work together. Customer Care should spend some time at the Chatham store.

    We bought a new chest freezer from the Chatham store and because they didn't have stock, we waited…read moretwo weeks for delivery. The delivery guys showed up at the designated time and moved the freezer into our basement. They were quite rough with the move and at one point had the unit standing on end. The salesman said that they would take away the old freezer But the delivery company said no, they don't do that and disposal of the old freezer is our responsibility. They did move the old unit out of our basement for us. The instructions said to wait 4 to 6 hours before plugging it in for the first time. We waited until the next day before plugging it in. The freezer never got cold even though we could hear the compressor running. We tried numerous times over the weekend but it would not get cold at all. We called to complain and were left on hold many times, being disconnected once while waiting. Finally we had a guy named Kyle come on the line and told us that normally we would have to call the manufacturer to get a repair but because we such good customers they would schedule a replacement unit and someone would be calling us with a date and time. So far no call! Tepperman's - poor quality, poor service, poor customer care. Don't buy from them, don't get sucked in!
