I purchased a fridge they got it to the driveway and said it had a dent. Didn't give us a chance to keep this fridge until another arrived. Alas no fridge since then it's been a week since they took the "apparently"dented one that made it too our driveway. I called last night as I was promised a delivery today but was told by the service manager that they don't have one in, and I would have to wait another week. I ordered this over the phone but after inquiring how I could cansel the order I have to go in. These people are truly slimy. Bought a sectional sofa this year, it was delivered by the guys from Bricks but never bothered to assemble it. It turned out it has a defect. We called the store right away on the same day and told us they will inform the technician to come and fix it. Few weeks after that call, no technician called. We called the store again few times during those weeks. Fast forward...a technician came finally after more than a month. This technician never called us at all to set up an appointment. He called 20 minutes before he got to our place. Fortunately, my son was home at that time since it's their break, but what if nobody was home? I was at work and so is my husband. I called the Bricks with regards to this and OMG here comes the lady with a very rude attitude and saying why do we have to call them, lol! They were the one who supposed to get in contact with the technician not us. Plus the technician never called us at all! The technician then check the defect, got it "fixed" without us inside the house and only a minor was present. Never got a call from the technician as to whether he managed to fix the sofa or not. We just found out from my son. We checked the sofa when we got home. The sofa isn't fixed. He managed to connect the metal to connect the sofa together but seems like he just forced it and the leg of the sofa is hanging away from the floor. You can fit your fingers between the sofa and the floor. Me and my husband always wonder why there are no customers in the store, only one or two. Now we know. Customer service isn't the greatest esp if you are being assisted by the same lady. She needs to change her attitude whoever that is. She is not fit to work in the customer service. If that was the same lady who showed us the available sofa one time when we went there, i am glad we didn't get it from her. She is just rude and needs some training in customer service. I went to The Brick on Boxing Day to take advantage of their sales and purchased a Haier TV. They did not have any in stock and said that if I wanted the floor model, they would give me a $50 discount. I agreed. The rep told me that they didn't have any boxes and not to trust their delivery drivers, I said ok, we cant fit it in our vehicle. They took me up front to their "receptionist" who filled out the rest of the paperwork. Not once was I told that I was purchasing something that was as is condition nor was I told that it was a final sale. I bring the tv home, the remote doesn't work and there was no sound. I called and was told to purchase a universal remote and that will fix the problem. No, it didn't. Then I was told that they cannot do anything for me as it was a display model and it is a final sale. BUYER BEWARE! THE BRICK DOES NOT FULLY INFORM THEIR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY PURCHASE FROM THEM! Worst customer service ever! Store had advertised a TV on sale during the Black Friday sale. My boyfriend drove into town as we do not even live in the same town and went to the store at 6 am to make sure we got one. The employee then informed him they had 0 in stock even though they were advertised. They took our phone number and told us it would be in the following Wednesday. It is now 3 weeks later and every week they lie and tell us "next Wednesday for sure." The same TV is now being advertised in the upcoming boxing week sale. Save your time and don't bother coming to the brick! Walmart has the same one on sale with some in stock... we will never shop here again! read more

I did not have an issue buying the appliances at the store and the sales person was okay in assisting us with our purchase. I asked if there was anything that was classified as a SPECIAL ORDER and he told me there was not. Now I will wait and see if we they are able to deliver on the said date and if I am able to get all 3 appliances that I have purchased.......I really think that they should not care so much on how the sale went but they should do a follow up on how the delivery went and did you get everything you ordered. Not just the Brick but they all do the same by taking your money and not caring what happens after the sale. They wanted me to buy the extended warranty on all 3 of my appliances but I told him I would but it before the year is up as I think I have spent enough money without them trying to get more money our of me.
