If you would like to make your business a place to sell high priced items I would recommend cleaning it up and marketing as so. I'm a thriftier and I shop all over, a big chain that marks up like Savers wouldn't even charge these prices! Even Boston consignment shops such as covet don't do this. I wonder are these items donated? I will not be revisiting and stick to other shops! So just as the store name states, it has a little bit of everything from frozen foods, snacks, canned goods, sauces.. to pet stuff, appliances, clothes, household items etc. I scored some good deals on cat litter, frozen foods, snacks, and bottled water. I would suggest checking the expiration dates on foods prior to buying as some stuff have been expired for some time. Other things are expiring within a few months.. then there are other things not expiring for a year so just check. The cool thing is that they seem to have something for everyone when it comes to food items. They had gluten free stuff, organic, and vegan food items as well as other foods. I found some products that I've seen at Whole Foods for much cheaper that weren't expired either. I had some luck finding some stuff today, but I guess it's hit or miss and just depends on what's in stock when you come. If you see something you like, it's probably a good idea to stock up on it because it might not be there the next time you go. Parking lot is huge so there shouldn't be an issue with parking. Yelp says it's closed on Sundays, but that is incorrect. I went today (Sunday) and it was opened. They take credit cards, but there is a $5 minimum.

Since they were offering half price off the entire store over the weekend, my friend stocked up on apparel, snow pants, kids toys, Apple watch bands and shoes, close to $240 before extra discount to just under $120 total for the haul. For myself, I got a pair of new Dockers and a beanie for $4.50 total, wow!!!! The friendly staff was also very helpful in carrying out and loading the bags of goods into the car.

When it hadn't arrived in the UPS window (by 645 pm), I checked tracking and it said delayed by 24 hours. I never got a notification. I knew this would mean spoiled food, so I called and emailed Grandma's. I got an email response about an hour after I emailed on Wednesday night -- they said they could not control UPS but I could wait and see if the soup was defrosted on Thursday. If it was, they would make it right. But that wouldn't have worked for the recipient. I called Thursday morning (as I thought that would be more efficient) and spoke to a woman who would not let me get a word in. Evidently, it was the owner of the company who was more interested in being unpleasant than listening. My real concern was Grandma's blaming UPS -- I simply called to cancel the order. But she took a very aggressive tone, got very personal and hung up me (then refunded the order, which was good). And yes, the soup was delivered completely thawed, so would have been tossed anyway, it came over 24 hours late. So 72 hours from ordering. And looking at some of the poor reviews, the reaction I got from the owner is not unusual. Blame the carrier, be rude to the customer. It's a shame, because the first two deliveries were fine. I'll be choosing another soup company moving forward.
