HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Got called a BITCH by a clerk named "Alesha" because I called her out on closing the store 15 minutes early. Doors were locked and a customer who i spoke with as I walked up said their rushing everyone out of the store their trying to close. It's rude to close your doors early and it's even more rude to have staff that's rude! I work in customer service I understand but she crossed the line by calling me a bitch then the assistant manager wants to argue and not tell me till the end that she's the assistant manager and just straight arguing with me because I told them it's not right. I didn't come in at 855 no I came in at 845. It's rude to not let customers in. I will be going to follow up with a manager tomorrow. Below is a picture of "Alesha" on the right and on the left is the "assistant manager".

This store done magic for my last minute parties, a few memories. . One was buying my mask for masquerade party for texas spring break 2017. It was last minute but i know i need to create a mask and lots of feathers. I wanted a huge feather mask with lots of colors. So here i went to create it on the morning of the event and it came true. I had a ball at the masquerade party rocking it the whole night without regrets. Most complimented and just lots of yassss! . Second is this pink and white party. Last min idea because i knew i would snap some pics and gotta have a cute table in the pic. Welp the bday girl was surprise and wow and I'm sure its memorable for future parties. Simple yet cute and thoughtful set up. . Also love coming here to get my balloons, they are quick to serve you. . As well i like to come here and get my planner stickers, notes, and office supplies just to be more organized. . Overall i like this store. Its my convenient store, shopping on a budget. In and out quick and easily find my stuff. Thanks for reading and party it up!

The concept is simple. They get discounted items from many online distros such as Wayfair and Target and pass the savings unto the consumer. The catch is that it is NO frills. Their website shows what they have and it is often just one-off items. If you need a set of 4 chairs, good luck but if you only need one, best place to come. No delivery. You have to come pick up yourself during limited hours but will also schedule a time if that does not work for you. There is no show room. Everything is boxed up. You have the opportunity to check things out when you come but once you leave it is pretty much as-is purchase. I have purchased 3 items and it has been a pleasant experience overall. The people are nice and I have not had an issue with any of my items. I saved about 25-30% off retail. It is convenient for me because I live and work nearby. It is a great place to shop for a deal and stuff goes fast. You can sign up for email alerts or follow on FB. He says that stagers often buy his stuff.

Nevertheless, we made the plunge and purchased 6 patio chairs that were from target and well over half the price as target. As I went to pick them up, she kept wishing me luck, because she was real nervous. I'm pleased to say my experience could not have been better! We purchased these during the stay at home order (this will be funny to read in the future) and I got directions to text upon my arrival. Sure enough, they directed me to pull around and I literally did not have to get out of my car. They put the box in my trunk and said thanks! Upon arriving home, I took the chairs out and started to put them together. There was zero damage to any of the chairs and they were essentially brand spankin new. Some of the bolts and holes didn't exactly line up, but that's not their fault. We will be keeping our eye on their website and will be definitely buying from them again!

I go to the Target Shopping Center Monthly, but rarely go to the Dollar Tree. I've checked them out…read morea handful of times. I got to my appointment early so had around 10 minutes to check them out. This was my moment. Last time I was in Dollar Tree I learned that everything was a minimum of $1.50 each. No longer a dollar. I really think they should go back to $1 or change their name. My quest and my whole reason for my trip was to purchase pinwheels. We are going to the Cemetery next week and I don't want to go empty handed. Many people have pinwheels and fake flowers on their graves. Some have metal signs and little statues. We went last year for grave sweeping day. We brought tooth brushes from Dollar Tree and water to clean the headstone. We brought pinwheels we got at a different Dollar Tree when we were out of town. Maybe all the Dollar Trees have a different type of stock depending on the clientele. Or Last year may have just been the year of pinwheels. We have been other stores such as Ace Hardware and they didn't have any either. I'm not sure where you can buy pinwheels anymore. You can get them on Amazon, but then you have to buy multiples and I only want one. Hopefully we'll be able to go to another Dollar Tree and they will have them. I'm not giving up on the Dollar Tree. I have gone to Dollar Tree for other items and have been successful. They always have good deals on gift bags and tissue paper. I usually buy a pack of white tissue paper to stuff in the gift bags. White goes with everything so I only need to buy one package. I've also bought greeting cards here and I felt they were reasonably priced. I still had some time so I looked around so I wouldn't leave empty handed. They had flags with sticks that could stick in the ground, but I've never seen flags in the cemetery, it's just not that type of cemetery. They had lots of other 4th of July stuff, stakes that go in the ground that's say USA, but still not appropriate. I finally laid my eyes on some fake flowers. Not ideal, but they will fit in with others plots at the cemetery. I found a nice bunch of pink mixed flowers with a substantial stem that I think will be able to be pushed into the ground, or least I'm hoping it will. If not we can just leave the flowers on her plot or find some real flowers on our way to the cemetery. I've got a week to come up with something, we're not going till next Saturday. Check out was smooth. There was two people checking out when I got in line and only 1 person in front of me. It went by quickly. I had time to shop and check out in 10 minutes. Parking is convenient. They are part of a shopping center and there is always plenty of parking. You may need to walk a little, but there is always a space.

They still had quite a lot of decor, boxes, gift bags, tins, and lights. I was able to get some gift bags and tissue paper and a couple other items for under $10. I know these stores can get thrashed because there are a ton of people that shop it and honestly not many people put things back in the correct spot. However, the staff there does a decent job at getting the store stocked and faced. The cashier, Jason, was very polite and nice. I didn't have to wait to be checked out, everything was very quick and efficient.

I found lots of pretty designs, but nothing screamed birthday. I settled on some pastel paper with ice cream sundays, rainbow cake and balloons, that was the closest that immulated birthday on it. I was thinking more of candles, presents, balloons, not pastel rainbows, but it will work. The other packet has macaroons and boba drinks on it, fruit, donuts, and suckers. So they both sort of say birthday, but it just wasn't what I imagined I'd walk out of the store with. They also had lots of stickers. Pearls, rhinestones, and other designs and characters. I just bought a few packets from Hobby Lobby that scream birthday so I was good there. They had lots of Disney stickers and cats and dog stickers. All so cute, but I don't need to collect more stickers than I already have. They have so much cute stuff. Lots of Disney and Hello Kitty Items. I saw a Hello Kitty shower caps that I thought could come in handy and I was tempted to buy it, but then I decided to save my money on what I was really looking for and that was the birthday paper. I've already spent too much money on this card making project so I didn't want to be frivolously and buy more things I don't need. I already have those free hotel shower caps that have been working so far, so I really don't need to invest in a good one quite yet. I love their party supply collection. They had these cool confetti filled balloons. I don't know how you blow them up, but they looked cool. They also have those foil balloons that you could blow up that are different numbers. Perfect for party decorations. They had some wrapping paper that was birthday themed too that looked cool. I almost got a roll and thought of cutting it up for cards, then I went back and looked a the paper and found what I found and I think that would work better, tiny sheets verses a whole roll. I loved all the spring and Easter stuff they had. They even had mickey and Minnie Mouse Easter eggs, which I thought were so cool if you only needed 4 of them or so.They were really small packs. You could use them as your special Easter eggs in your Easter egg hunt. I could really outfit my house with all their cute stuff.

Curious as to what I would find inside, I entered the tiny shop on 16th Street. I saw numerous kitchen items. Some were kitschy, and some were useful (like the stacked heavy-duty stainless steel lunch containers or hot beverage thermos bottles. I found a small dried foods section with good prices on noodles, black mushrooms and mok yee (black fungus). If you're Chinese and remember the old Po Chai herbal pills for vertigo and motion sickness, they've got those, too, as well as a few other medicinal liniments (e.g.. Tiger Balm). There were some inexpensive novelty hats made of cloth, bamboo, and satin covered paper. There were some artists' wood-handled paintbrushes, Chinese calligraphy ink and brush sets and rice paper to practice on. Know someone who'd like to try their hand at Chinese Character calligraphy? Here's where you can get what you need to get them started for very little cost. There were little jade pendants for $5 each. The extent of my shopping at J&J was merely window shopping and seeing all the fine cart on wheels that the old Chinese ladies roll around downtown with. I have always wanted to go inside to check the cool place out but never had time and was a bit nervous to speak any Mandarin (haven't spoken Mandarin in years). After years of lugging around loads of laundry up and down my apartment building (our laundry machines are in the basement which means carrying two to three loads of laundry by hand weekly) I was determined to go to J&J to pick-up one of these signature rolling carts. The time had arrived and I had cash on hand (yes, they do not accept Credit Cards). The man working behind the counter was very nice. You will notice right away when you enter that this is very much a hardware/knick-knack shop. Convenient for the nearby community looking to get odds and ends for the home. You will find anything from tiger balm, plates, spoons, cleaning detergent, jewelry, socks, Chinese fabric coin purses, chopsticks, snacks, candy, and more. Affordable, decent. The cart I came looking for was in the window display and I informed the man that I was ready to purchase it! He gladly took the cart out of the window and sold it to me. No 10% discount though like many other Chinese stores but totally fine and I enjoy supporting mom and pop shops like this one. I am glad to say that I have been using my large rolling cart for a few weeks now! Now, all I need is a big visor hat, short cut hair and a vest and I will fit in with all the cool old Chinese ladies walking the streets of downtown Sacramento! Xia, xia!
