I was shocked to see how high the prices were on the merchandise, especially since everything in the store is donated. People are donating their things to the store, so that others, who are less fortunate than them, can make use of their items. This store is exploiting the customers. The art was priced so high. There was one piece that was priced $169. It was a random piece of art probably not even worth $20. It's such a sad state that this store is pricing their inventory sky high. The condition of the store was horrendous. The art was crammed together so that you could not even see it. A lot of the art was stacked up on the floor like it was junk. Quite a bit of the merchandise was broken, damaged, and dirty. The store was in complete disarray. The pictures were treated very badly. You could not really even appreciate the art. you could honestly go to a gallery and get art better priced than what you would find at this thrift shop. It is a crime that they are treating the customers in this manner, especially with the state of the economy.Unfortunately, with their pricing, the average customer will not be able to afford this merchandise. Remember, all of the inventory from the store is donated. Please be prudent when shopping at this store and show your disdain by not buying their over priced merchandise.

My 7 month old is our last baby and I wanted her ear piercings to be a memory for not just us but her sisters. The store was super busy when we walked in but made an appointment for there next available time as we were asked to by the supervisor. Once our time came for her appointment there was a lack of acknowledgment to us until finally I was asked if I was helped yet. I was then asked what I was there for and I explained. I made it clear I wanted the round back pieces for my babygirl because the butterfly ones could stab her and she rolls a lot right now. The whole appointment felt rushed and nothing like the videos or reviews had mentioned. Once it was all said and done I went to pay for the service and my husband came back inside from consoling our daughter to point out her earrings had the butterfly back pieces. After mentioning the mistake we just had a quick "oh I'm sorry for that who did you speak too" when I pointer at the front desk (diff from supervisor) they just looked at each other and just had the face of not wanting to deal with this issue. After waiting while all these customers were helped before me, I then went on to ask for compensation because this whole experience was not it. I came there not just for the piercing but the for the experience they advertised and I was given the coldest I'm sorry I can't do that. The supervisor showed no empathy for the situation she just kept sighing and looking at me with no expression. I just paid and left crying because there was nothing I could do. For any moms of babies please do not come to this location. Please pick a different one. I don't fault Rowan just this location and the lack of empathy showed by all the staff there on that day. Please do better. I can never get back this experience with my daughter.
