The Dollar Tree always makes me think of my grandmother because as a kid she would take me to dollar stores and let me pick out whatever I wanted. As I grew older and visited dollar stores I learned they are not all the same. Some, in fact, have items for much more than a dollar. This is extremely misleading. But! Guess what dollar store doesn't charge more than $1- The Dollar Tree! Everything is $1!!! You can buy frames, candy, cleaning supplies, baby wipes, candles, décor, wrapping paper, tools, batteries, nail polish, glasses, EVERYTHING for $1. This Dollar Tree on Henderson is by far my favorite. It is new, has a large parking lot, a friendly staff, and a nice inventory. I regularly buy my wrapping paper and gift bags here. I also like their pens, candy, and photo frames to add to my wall at work. I'll let you all in on a little secret- they accept coupons! They actually carry some name brands in this store and you can use a coupon to get the price even lower. I hosted an Oscar party at my house and created free SWAG bags all with Dollar Tree items using a coupon. You can't beat free!

In this aisle alone, you will find everything from mops to dog food. There is no nonsense when it comes to shopping here

Even if you need name brand items like Gatorade or Tide or Reece's you can find them here in smaller sizes.

What's funny is we were just at Goodwill so I saw a glass jar that was similar to one I found at Goodwill, it was $8 at Goodwill and $34 there. However, that was the only piece I found at Goodwill, whereas here there were so many beautiful pieces. You really can't compare the two, so I'll stop here, but I just wanted to make that clear. I've been into helping the environment recently, so I want to buy secondhand pieces when I can. We were looking for a vase. I ended up finding a gorgeous shell shaped vase. They actually had two, but one had a crack on one side, which is why it was discounted by $50. I decided to go for the non cracked one, which was $140. I think this is reasonable for the quality and it's a statement piece. I saw tons of other items that I loved. There was a standing desk for around $350 and a lot of benches and tables all in the couple of hundred dollar range. Again, not cheap, but definitely less expensive than they probably were when they were new. The guy working there was really nice and helpful. Parking was easy on both sides of the building. They pack this place full of such beautiful finds. I will definitely be back.

It is definitely a large size store and they utilize the space well. They carry electronics, home goods, housewares, kitchen items, outdoor items, furniture, mattresses, gardening items, toiletries, clothing, electronics, and pantry items. The deals are pretty good, and sometimes they have things on clearance (watch for food items, since the dates are either close to the sell by dates or even past the sell by dates). I mean, I wasn't really in the market for specific items, but we found a meat probe for a good price, and actually some snacks too. It's too bad that I didn't live closer because they had patio furniture for sale at this one, and it would've definitely been worth the drive! The food aisles were plentiful (not like a different location that was mostly slim pickings). They do change out their inventory regularly, since this is a close out type of store. It was pretty clean and organized too! And from what I saw, service was pretty top notch--a few of us were looking for advertised deals and the staff (register people) hopped off and assisted with all of our questions and walked us over to the areas we needed to go to. If I'm ever in the area again, I plan to make a special trip out to this store!

I stopped in hoping to find a casual or dressy top for a few bucks. I always check the Clearance rack first as a hidden gem may be waiting to be found. Striking out in hopes of finding a top to add to my wardrobe, I head over to the Women's Shoes, in search of a deal. I find a black pair of kicks with no price. They fit. But then I spot an updated version of Keds with the brand name Jelly Pop. VERY comfortable, and only $7.49. Ok, I'll take 'em. At the Check Out, the associate scans the sticker. The receipt prints, she grabs it, tears it up and scans again. She does this several times. Concerned, I ask, "Is it ringing up for more?" "Yes.", she replies. She then tells me the total, "Eighty-two cents." (See receipt photo.) Yup, those kicks were originally $14.99, but @95 percent off---only EIGHTY-TWO CENTS WITH TAX! The shoe gods were smiling on me for sure! :-D

I came back to return it with the receipt and original retail vendor tag. The Bealls price tag was not on it so no exchange or return. Needless to say as I walked out of the store at 3:54 this afternoon after standing in line for way too long I deposited the shirt in the trash can by the front door. So overall Gain for Bealls today you earned $5.99 in merchandise I gave you back and lost an almost 30 year loyal customer. Oh and by the way my mother also managed your Daytona location for many years and she is also appalled at such an infantile decision to not exchange my item. Thanks sorry to see you go!

After walking around to the back of the building, there were four vendors set up. I thought - is this all there is? - and then finally I noticed people were using a different back entrance to gain access to the actual flea market. Directional signs would be a major plus next time! Inside there was an excellent selection of vendors, piled far and wide into narrow rows. I would have loved to have spent more time perusing, but it got so crowded so quickly, it was impossible. One trip through and I was done. If you don't like crowds, this is NOT the event for you. One final thought - please, for the love of all that is holy, leave your strollers and your pets at home.
