I accidentally had an item ordered to this store. I called repeatedly for days during store hours. No one EVER answered the phone in the "customer service" department. It would ring and ring and then finally disconnect you!! read more

The service I received at this Target was really awesome. I came in to pick up a pickup order and was greeted by a smiling face who was eager to assist! Huge parking lot & ample parking.I walked around the store briefly and you can see by the decorations that it is definitely the most wonderful time of the year. This target has a wide variety of options at great value. I suggest stopping by if you are in the area as this Target is a great shopping venue! Happy Holidays. read more

This is NOT my local Target but they apparently had an item in stock that I needed, so I took the trip here to get what I needed. When I arrived the item wasn't on the shelf & I was heart broken because I drove so far. I spoke to a rep and she let me know the item would be in stock tomorrow, she told me that a few times but being I wasn't from that area I told her that tomorrow wouldn't be convenient for me. After speaking to her for a while, she was able to help me get my hands on the item I needed. Every person I encountered in this store was kind and helpful. I would definitely return to this particular location, they really have some amazing workers and product selection. read more

This is a great target location with drive-up options for online orders. I recently went to make a return and waited nearly 15 minutes despite there only being 2 people in front of me. The line tailed behind me up to 7 people while waiting for additional staff to come assist us. Once at the counter my return was quick and easy and my cashier was very helpful. read more

I truly hate to be that guy BUT here I am. The service is non existent. I was waiting in the tech area so long I made myself at home sitting in the counter. I wanted to buy a couple hundred bucks worth of video games for the kids and there was no one to be found. There is one cashier up front and some buddies screwing around at customer service and the self checkout line had no less than twenty people waiting. This is crap. For a company that's on shakeup ground anyway, you'd thing they would care a little bit at least. read more

What is there not to like about Target? Except perhaps you always leave for more than you came with but is that really a bad thing? I admittedly usually find more stuff than I initially go in for but I'm not hating on it. I like the offerings at Target and am glad that I can shop here locally. I really am impressed by this Target! I used to trek to the other Target located at Walter's Crossing out of habit and because I thought the selection was good however this Target has an awesome selection. On top of that the employees are so cheery and helpful and actually look like they like their jobs. I really mean it when I say the staff delivers excellent customer service! To top it off after the remodel the store looks awesome and everything is easily accessible. I even was impressed that a Nursing Station was added to the Fitting Room section! Way to be conscious of consumer needs, Target! I also utilized the "Drive Up" option got ordering on the app and picking up in the store of the parking lot while idling in a designated spot. This process was seamless for me and oh-so-easy. Tito, the customer service employee, was most attentive and cordial and I had my item in no time. I wholeheartedly recommend if you are a mom of youngings or just lack real time to shop. It was easy, quick, and painless. Wow, I wish I could say that about more things in life... read more

Target - Vineyard Vines Collection! - Department Stores Near Me - Tampa, Florida

Customer service at this store sucks. I wanted to buy some ink for my printer. I was told to go to electronic department. I want there. I could not find anyone to help me. So after five minutes I said as loud as I can DOES ANYBODY WORK HERE. Nothing. No one showed up. So a few minutes later I said .DOES ANYBODY WORK HERE. Still nothing. Five more minutes went by and I said DOES ANYBODY WORK HERE. still nothing. Five more minutes went by and I said DOES ANYBODY WORK HERE. Finally an employee showed up and was able to help me. This store does not even deserve the one star I gave it. Very poor customer service. read more

For sure the best Target in Tampa. Front end staff is always super helpful and accommodating. Great drive up times as well- I feel like I'm never waiting long. read more

I've been going to this Target for over three years and never had an issue with the staff, stock, or cleanliness. The manager is always out and about greeting customers and super helpful. It's a Target, so it's similar to every other Target. About a year and a half ago, the inside and out had a facelift, and I like the changes. Before, the store did look outdated, but it never affected the prices or my desire to shop there. The bathrooms clean, drive-up ordering is on point, and parking usually isn't an issue. read more

Seems like a bit of construction is going on inside of the store. Other than that, it's your typical target. The have a nice selection of men and women's clothing. I was also looking at their kids clothing and it is absolutely adorable! They have several self service checkouts, but I prefer going to a person. The previous few times that I have been, the employees there have been very friendly. They'll ask about my day or comment on the things I'm purchasing. I had to make a return the other day and they were sooo nice about it! Some people give you a hard time, but the lady apologized for the item not working and was happy to return it. Overall, I do like this Target and am a little embarrassed by the amount of weekly visits I make there! read more

Target has become my go to store for most of my home needs whether it's food ot other household products. The fact that I have a Target card linked to my checking that gives me 5% off on all Target purchases is pretty swell. Free shipping or ship to store or pickup in store. Employees are nice, stores are clean and organized, and pricing is generally on par with other retailers and their online storefronts. The only problem I run into is that products I'm looking for are sometimes out of stock. i.e. I needed disposable rubber gloves and they have the display for 3 kinds, but none in stock? I'd gladly pay Target a little more than purchase the same product from their competitor.... cough cough...Walmart... Come shop with me at Target! read more

If you know me, you know I hate shopping. However, you have to go to the store and buy things - to eat, to wear, to feed your animals, to live you have to buy things. So, out of convenience and now more than ever since Sam's closed, I spend a little more time here. I recently got their CC so I can save 5% on every purchase. Often I find some of their grocery items are cheaper than anywhere else. They offer sales and coupons. And $5 off or on a GC if you buy a certain amount of a certain type of item, not hard to do. Savings here can be found and I can appreciate that... The stock in this store is pretty good, the customer service is very good - 2 seconds before Hurricane Irma on my way out of town, the manager allowed me to break open a multi pack of different flavored cat foods because one of my cats who was going through a phase would ONLY eat one flavor and they only had it in this multi pack. Because the other flavors in the pack were sold at that store individually as well, they could put those on the shelf to sell. It was very nice of them to allow me to do that. The store has been there quite a while, it's always clean. The only thing that's changed is their $1 - $3 stuff isn't great anymore. I used to be able to buy kids' prizes there (like 50 of them at a time) and now can't find anything for $1 nor anything worth the $3.... I guess that goodness is gone, but that's ok - the rest of the store is still a great store. read more

I damaged my car when the cart retrieval employee set the cart pulling device behind my car. I would recommend training so a cart retrieval employee checks to see if a car is occupied before parking the cart pulling machine behind a car! I was shocked when I heard the sound of my bumper hitting Target's non-visible cart device! The employee was no where to be found when I exited my car to see what was in my path! Also minor issue but important is the ladies restroom had hand soap only at one of the three dispensers. read more

I love me some Target! I try and stay away as much as I can though because it is a challenge for me to try and walk out of this store spending less than $100! This location is my favorite one even though I am closer to the one off of North Dale Mabry. I love this location because the parking lot is not such a cluster. Obviously, they sell anything you can possibly want here and much much more. The staff here is very friendly and very helpful. They are more than accommodating with returns and rainchecks. The store and the restrooms (well at least the women's) are very clean. The Target Cafe's food isn't gourmet cuisine but the food isn't too bad. Warning this location doesn't have Starbucks like most of the other Target stores. But...if you really need it that bad, there is one in the same plaza. read more

I had the most unpleasant experience to date when picking up groceries using the drive up service. 05/23/23 The lady taking out orders between 12-12:15 pm today dark short hair has no customer service skills and lacks helping a client. She forgot my Starbucks k cups and I mentioned it to her and her remark is must be out of stock. SO your going to charge me $18 for something I did receive? I know the bag was probably forgotten and left inside. Did she offer to go look? NO! She told me to go inside for a manager because I asked for a manager. Dumb dumb I can't go inside because I my ankle is broke hence me asking for one. Called the store and spoke tome lady who no help either. I like coming to this target because it never seems busy. They do not have a Starbucks inside like most updated targets but there is one right out in front of the store. This is the first target i have seen with the drive up pick up orders. This means you can order things online and you don't even have to get your lazy butt out of your car to get your fav target goodies. I mean, need I say more? I didn't think so :) read more

Oscar De La Renta dog food bowl for $50? They've got it! Car engine oil, fuh-get-about-it! I only come here when I have to because a) someone has given me a gift card or b) I have something to pick up at the pharmacy. The store is a typical Target, they are all basically identical (except for the Supersized versions, of course). This one has a small, limited, pricey grocery section as well. The grocery addition did nothing for the store except limit the already limited supply of basics to make room for the food stuffs. Customer service is the pits, I've had more bad experiences with staff that are rude, cranky or untrained than I care to remember. They are really difficult with returns, I tried to return a pair of sandals that broke the first time I wore them and was accused of wearing the shoes. Well, duh - that's how they got broke! I just would rather not have a pair of shoes that doesn't get me out the front door. I tolerate the pharmacy because they have the best hours and take my insurance, otherwise I'd be back at the Walgreen's pharmacy in a heartbeat. Admittedly, they do have some cute housewares and clothing sometimes. But stuff gets picked over so quickly and then never restocked it's just not worth the effort for me anymore. read more

Ah, Target. I always go in for one thing and leave with 500 different other items I had no intention of buying. This Target is no exception. I've been several times and each time the service has been pretty good, the selection of clothes, beauty items, and groceries is a good combination. This store also has a pretty decent home sale every now and then. I'd say it's on par with the other Target stores I've been to, and I'm a fan of all of those stores, too, so I'm giving this location 4 stars. read more

I use to love shopping at Target especially the Gandy location until today I just had to stop in the middle of the store to post this review. I literally just had one of the employees sign at me for having to walk between her and another employee who were having a very personal conversation and then another employee walked right in front of me and gave me a dirty look LoL this cannot be serious. Target needs to definitely re train some employees on customer service skills now I'm on an isle and 3 are having a good little group chat. Unbelievable read more

I go to this Target the most since it's a convenient location for me. There is ample parking and the staff is pretty helpful, especially at guest services. The ease of returns amazes me. The pharmacists at the pharmacy are also very nice and helpful. It is located right next to a Publix as well, which makes doing back to back errands very quick. I love the cartwheel app and use my target card for extra 5% off each purchase. There is no Pizza Hut or Starbucks in their food area but the icees and rice crispy treats are always good! All and all this is a great location as it isn't always packed and you always leave buying something whether you need it or not :) read more

The South Tampa Target is super-depressing. My husband complained the entire time about how dark and dank it was. We had both babies with us and he was insisting that we get in and get out because who wants to spend a nice Saturday in a dark, disheveled Target? He even said (gasp) Walmart was nicer. And I kind of have to agree with him on this. While I like Target merchandise in terms of being cute and trendy the store itself needs a lot of work. It's messy and there a lot of empty shelves and the lighting is poor. Another pet peeve of mine is when stores don't have enough check out lanes open and of course on a Saturday afternoon this target had two lanes open which is inexcusable. The young lady who checked me out also gave me a hard time about my competitor coupons which I insisted and instructed her on the policy and how to key in the coupons to the point where she ended up taking them. I hate having to do this. Train your people, Target. This particular location is so bad that Starbucks opted to go inside the Publix next door instead. read more

Wow, a Target in the hood. I didn't know these existed. Where we are in Tampa Palms, this location is more convenient than the Super Target in Wesley Chapel, although I never quite feel comfortable parking our Mercedes in the parking lot of this one. I'm convinced I'm going to walk out and it'll be either keyed or gone one day. That should give you an idea of the area. Anywho, the Target itself isn't bad. It's well organized, the service is generally friendly, and they have the average stock of other non-Super Targets. It just doesn't necessarily look as nice and bright and shiny as others, but overall not a bad target. Just don't park too close to any other cars. read more

Pros: well lit, clean, never crowded and they have self checkout lanes. Also, none of the scary Wal-Mart crowd. Cons: every time I go there, the item(s) marked as "On Sale" ring up at regular price. The staff were rude and would not honor an Amazon price match. Nancy and Rose in customer service are working in the wrong career. They were unable to operate the Ipad for price matching. The Target on Dale Mabry is so much better. It seems like this Target has a smaller selection. I often find myself going to the other Target to get things that this one doesn't have. I've shopped at Target stores many times for various reasons. This particular one is minutes from my home and the convenience is just that, convenient. I walk in always picturing the brilliant commercial and print advertising and assume I won't make it out alive. What happens is quite the opposite thankfully. Every season I think that I'm going to find new trends at great prices and new pieces for the home. I hardly ever purchase clothing here, the quality is meh and the trends are always too young. It's either maternity, teen or ill appealing frocks. The children's section is much better but unfortunately a lot people would agree and I see kids in the exact same outfits often . One thing i do like is the target brand items, they are just as good as the name brand and I feel the price point is adequate. I was super excited to find Shea Moisture beauty products being sold here because this was the Fourth Target that I had been to searching for it but the customer service at this store....awful! They had a sign on a rack that said 40% off all sweaters (excluding clearance). I grabbed a few items off that rack (there a ton of sizes of the same items, etc. so it wasn't like it was misplaced). When I went to checkout, they weren't 40% off. The cashier refused to even check on the items for me and figure out why they weren't ringing up as 40% off. I went into this location to check out their new Dollarspot section, which I stumbled upon actually. I was originally here to pick up a few other items and ended up falling in love with this area (Dollarspot). Currently by the time of this review, they now have a whole bunch of really nice fall Decour to choose from and I ended up buying the place, LOL. The Dollarspot in this area is always that every entry of a Target. The prices either one $1 or $3. The remainder of the store is broken up into multiple departments which include the electronics, women's, menus, boys and girls (children), who Decore (which is even broken down further), pharmacy, health and beauty, Etc. The stores are usually very organized and clean, but not as packed as other superstores as far as crowd goes. I always enjoy coming in here every now and then either for gifts, groceries, or odds and ends, etc. The home Decore is usually unique brands to target stores. The grocery portion of the store contains the same products as any other grocery store consisting of major brands and also generic brands from target themselves. They have staff everywhere walking around with microphones ready to help you. They have call stations spread out evenly throughout the store so if you need help in a department, you just pick up the phone and call via phone prompts and someone will be right there with you in the next minute or less. I just love the crisp red and white environment in here (I'm pretty partial to the red color) they definitely pay attention to the ergonomics and environmental style of the place. The stores attract people so well. It entices customers to stay. The checkout lines vary based on time of the day, what day of the week, and what season of the year. Some of the stores also feature Starbucks and other fine-in cafés so you'll have the option of never being hungry when you shop. These are one of my favorite stores to shop. read more

Power was out the other day, disappointing. Almost totally out of carts. But otherwise, usually A-OK. This Target has a regular cafe inside, no Starbucks, but a normal Starbucks with a drive-thru is conveniently located in the parking lot. I am regularly conflicted at this located because besides the Starbucks there is also a Publix abutting Target in the parking lot. I really love Publix, but Target cards give you 5% off and some things like paper towels and cat food and deodorant are cheaper at Target, or so I believe. Walmart might be even cheaper, but it is usually less organized with longer lines and less clean inside (generally). This Target is totally A-OK. It is not a Super Target with super selection, but it seems generally well stocked as far as Target selections go, it will never have the diversity of juices or quality of deli as Publix, but the staff if friendly and the price is right for particular items. I find it useful to stop stop here first and get cat food, paper towel, and other generic brands and then hit up Publix (conveniently located next door) for good deli meat, Publix brand kitty litter (amazing), meat and other fresh produce, Welch's White Peach Grape Mango Juice, milk, and other things I more particular about. Last but not least, Target has a legit selection of electronics, movies, video games along with some fun tshirts, decent home furnishing, and a fun dollar section. This Target, as most Targets, is A-OK. read more
