I also purchased pull knobs for a dresser, they are great and appear just as the website showed me. Then I also purchased new wire connections for a TV. Walmart kept me informed about delivery time which is very important to me. The staff in Walmart are friendly and helpful. This store is now my go to store for items I need.

I ordered the Mopio Blake Tall Display Cabinet from Walmart, and the entire experience -- from…read moredelivery to customer service -- has been incredibly disappointing. The cabinet arrived with a damaged package. At first glance, the parts inside looked okay, so I began assembling it. It wasn't until I was almost finished that I noticed one of the corners was damaged -- right where a screw needed to go. The damage weakened the area, and when I stood the cabinet upright, the side nearly fell off, pulling other screws and fasteners with it. Since I had company coming over and the cabinet was too heavy for me to move to the garage, I finished assembling it despite the damage. After spending nearly two hours putting it together, I ended up with a wobbly, unstable cabinet that is too weak to use. I contacted Walmart about the issue. Their automated chat made it very difficult to reach a real representative. When I finally did, the agents seemed more interested in rushing me off the chat than actually addressing my concerns. They told me to return the cabinet, but I explained I couldn't transport it. They agreed to arrange a pickup, but that still leaves me feeling like I'm the one losing here. The "compensation" offered was a $25 gift card, which doesn't come close to covering the time I spent assembling the defective cabinet, the frustrating back-and-forth in their chat system, and now having to wait for pickup. To make matters worse, I tried to leave a review on Walmart's site to warn others, but I kept being redirected to the same support chat -- meaning I can't even share my feedback about the cheaply made product or the terrible support. I knew I was taking a risk buying furniture from Walmart, but I liked the look of this piece. Unfortunately, I learned my lesson. The cabinet is poorly made, the customer service is frustrating and impersonal, and the process is far more difficult than it should be. I've had far better experiences with Amazon and Wayfair, and I won't be making a furniture purchase from Walmart again.

Having patronized National Pawn, now National Jewelry & Loan for the last 2 years at this old…read morelocation down the Post Road in Milford, I thought I had a rapport with Pat, the owner since we've had multiple transactions in the past. I brought in a new in box un-opened Brother sewing machine which averaged $99.00 on eBay for like condition. I wanted to pawn it to retrieve it later but was offered exclusively a buy it outright amount of only $30.00. When I asked him why he said that eBay average was $50.00. I told him that was not true, I'd checked and he must be referring to refurbished models. I knew that he could sell it in the abundance of retail space he now has for much more. He then said that no one would come there for a sewing machine and said take it or leave it. Yes, I parted with the sewing machine for $30.00 because it was a matter of gas for the week. My 4 yr old granddaughter asked me if we were going to get the sewing machine back and I told her no. She had been begging me to make her school clothes, (which I can't afford), and cried incessantly. I called Pat and asked if he would reconsider the pawn and I'd be back in around 2 weeks, he said bring $38.00 and I could have it back. Long story short, I returned to be told that the price was $50.00 and we never had that conversation. To make matters worse, he told me that he intended to put it on the shelf for $75.00. Thank goodness my granddaughter wasn't with me this time. There are at least 3 other Pawn Shops in a 3 mile radius of this one. I suggest you comparison shop before dealing with this one. I only wish I had.
