My husband was ecstatic that I found maple trees here, and we got one. I'm giving a 3 for the parking lot. I could see accidents taking place there, which we almost got into one because the guy was careless. Their driving aisles and parking aisles are a bit crazy.

We purchased a printed out map, and some snacks for a really good price. Check expiration dates before purchasing certain items. Hee hee. He helped us locate a nice trail to walk and he was full of useful information. He is located on the left when you heading to the Water Wheel Hiking Trail.

I took measurements of the delivered area and it came up to 3/4 of a cord versus a full cord that was ordered. I notified him of my measurement but he said he'd never made a mistake in 30 years so someone must have stolen the missing 1/4 cord of wood. The wood stack is in plain view and showed no sign of missing wood. I gave him an opportunity to correct the situation but, in the end, I guess he felt it was impossible for him to have made a miscalculation. It seems he would rather believe that a thief arrived in a few hours time window, took a 1/4 cord of wood in plain and open sight and left the woodpile looking unaltered. I think it is much more likely that a mistake was made.....Hmmm. Word to the wise:. Be there for deliveries and measure out for 128 cubic feet.

Our favorite was the maple walnut -- it was an excellent recommendation by the lovely woman assisting us! Our daughter loved the strawberry fudge. This shop offers so many more flavors of fudge and other yummy truffles and chocolates. They also sell every kind of candy you can imagine, including old school candy and novelty candy (think scorpion lollipops LOL). Great shop to stop by while visiting Payson.
