I've rarely needed employee assistance here outside of check out but all the employees I have come across have been friendly. They have a new check out area that wraps around with little items to shop/buy (like a Marshalls type vibe). This is the first time I've seen this at a Dollar Tree and I loved it. It was Christmas season and their display easily showed me a few items I could get for stocking stuffers. They also have self checkout and a person to check you out. I liked that as well. I was only in there for three minutes. I brought in over 40 items of clothing and two boxes and they only took about five items. It was very frustrating to say the least. I wish I would have just accommodated me if I knew it was only gonna take them three minutes to go through my clothing when I originally came in. It's also important to note the items I brought in were brand new, never worn items. This is not, including the home decor that I brought in. They do not take home decor it's only clothing. Be sure to bring your ID every time there are frequent policy changes regarding drop-offs and pickups. Sometimes they require it, sometimes they don't, which can be confusing. The selling process is relatively quick, which I appreciate. However, I've noticed that many of the items they choose to buy and resell are stained or in visibly poor condition. It's surprising to see some of these pieces make it onto the sales floor. (See attached photos for examples.) It honestly makes me second-guess purchasing items here, especially higher-priced items like baby gear or amps. I really hope the quality control improves this store has a lot of potential if they clean things up a bit.
