My daughter was borderline crying because we were damp from a beach day and it felt like walking into a freezer, which made us expedite our trip. Got some vacation rental K-Cups, frozen pizza, breakfast and snack items and it was a nice, traditional, huge grocery store. The check out lines were understaffed in late July and took forever. My daughter would want me to add, how fun is if that they have a ton of those quarter-operated machines at the entrance/exit? She got gumballs and still talks about it with me. Definitely needed in this town and glad to have stumbled into it.

To the point I was in South Haven Meijer Express (gas station) trying to purchase something. The card machine was acting up. The cashier was too busy staring out the window to acknowledge. I asked "did the card go through". He said "huh" I said it's everything good? He crumbles up receipt and I said "your customer service really sucks". To which the Meijer employee replied "why you gotta be such a D**K". I was upset told manager on duty. Guess what that same employee has a job at Meijer. That's how much they care about their customers.

The employees, especially Colin (sp?) are very gracious, polite, & responsive to one's wants & needs. While they are a smaller store than some others, I encourage everyone to look beyond that. They were the nicest most efficient employees and Menards is lucky to have them. I know they come across some very disgruntled people during the day with this unfortunate covid.
