I see a bunch of jam and broken glass on the floor. I hailed a worker and showed her the mess. I left the shopping cart over the mess so no one else would get near the mess. I see a bunch of reading glasses ( so grab them too ) right n and head to the gal at the register. She grabs the items and starts with her spiel about credit card and 10 percent discount for applying. I tell her NO THANK YOU several times so I interrupt her and say I need to add this bag. ( the ones they sell for $1 ) and this is weird because she is all snarky and rude and literally slammed the jar of olives into the bag, and it almost sounded like the olives were going to break the glass . She tossed in the tin box of tea and the glasses. She then snarled at me again about the card reader and if I want a receipt. She's so rude. She doesn't even explain what I'm to do . I finally put on my reading glasses to read the screen about email or print receipts. I poke the print button while she is rolling her eyes to the back of her head. I almost thought about returning the items right then and there. Im still confused about the attitude there was no reason to be rude. I was so nice. I don't go there very often maybe once a year but I can tell you right now. I won't be back to that store at all. When you think about it, people who shop there or paying her wages being rude to the customer that's not good. You just lost my business.

I love HomeGoods and shop at many of their locations often. I was at H-mart across the street and was delighted to see a HomeGoods across the street. I decided to go in but quickly regretted it. One of the first problems with this location is that they are overrun with inventory. This isn't a large store, so I don't know why they have so much stuff. There isn't enough space in the store to display it all in a safe and neat manner. I used to work retail many moons ago, so seeing unpacked boxes hanging out on the floor, as well as a wall of unpacked cardboard boxes in the lighting section, tells me that their back storage area must also be full. There were also about 5-6 tables outside of the store with tons of stuff on them, all clearance that they were trying to get rid of. The store looks sloppy and unprofessional. It's like the manager and the staff just to give a damn. The shelves are also a mess and the merchandise was sloppily hanging on the shelves. There was one aisle that had pillows on the floor. There were so many that they were blocking the way. You couldn't get through without stepping on them or tripping. Are they trying to get sued??? Honestly, there was just shit everywhere in and out of boxes. Even if this was just a bad and busy day, I will never come back. The location in Queen Anne on Armory is much nicer and better run. If you want a nice shopping experience where you aren't at risk of injury due to store items on the floor, don't shop here.

I also like that there is a Home Goods next door. I have been very loyal to this particular TJ Max. Today I went in to check things out and I felt disappointed to see so few clothing racks. The handbag racks were reduced significantly and so were the clothing racks. When I compare it to Factoria TJ it has 30% of the clothing at Woodinville location. I'm hoping this changes because this particular store is really needed. There is limited clothing options in the area so TJ is truly a go to and with more housing coming in, the business will continue.

The women's section was only about 5 racks last time I went and 3 were clearance. I wanted to look at sweaters and didn't even see any. The home, accessory, and beauty sections are great! They have so many cute bags at this location. I also love the K-Beauty they carry. The home decor is so cute, but very seasonal, so be sure to look for what you want about a month early. I went Sept 1 and they had their full display of Halloween candles, but I imagine as mid-October approaches they may be in shorter supply. I find somedays I totally score with deals here and sometimes I leave empty handed. Sometimes the line is SUPER long, and sometimes it is short. They do have a great line system and move people through quickly, other than the employees being required to try to get you to sign up for a credit card.
