I'm really not a fan of discount stores. The aisles are claustrophobically narrow, the clientele…read moreare oftentimes rude, and those microscopic aisles are frequently choked with merchandise that has been dragged from its rightful place, much like a lion carelessly drags her kill across the savannah. This was no exception. While I waited patiently in line for my turn I watched the clerk in shock as she had her earphones turned up to eleven while she proceeded to rap her favorite lyrics. She was polite and certainly knew her job, but she wasn't moving merchandise in a warehouse. At this moment she was the Face of Family Dollar, and because of this, her job performance was left wanting. She's not the first. I've seen others behave in this manner on other occasions, I've seen Walmart employees more interested with what was blasting in their ear rather than how to adequately serve the customer. Oh, how I wish more people would put the customer first, not because I deserve it, but because I have a choice in where I can spend my money and this doesn't appear to be a problem with the staff, this is reflective of a management and a training problem. With proper management this place could really be a great store.

If you want to send people messages then you need to ASK if it's OK first and get their permission. The way you're doing it makes your business look really bad.
