There was a very nice sales associate, Sherrod, who helped me find the perfect pair of flats (ever since I've moved here, my style has become more practical as well...). He helped me with no sales pressure and allowed me to try several styles and gave me an honest opinion. I like this store and visit it during this time moreso than when they are selling sparklers in the heat of the summer. Lots of neat things here, great displays, creepy crawlies and other things to give you the grossout or heebie jeebies that you might require of yourself, guests or co-workers. As Hallow's Eve approaches, the busier this place becomes, so be aware. Be very aware. Something wicked this way comes. And it's usually my credit card bill after financially overextending myself at this place. They do accept credit cards by the way. They are open 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sundays. This toy typically retails around $25-$40, and while I understand stores can set their own prices, I could understand a reasonable markup (maybe $40-$60) but nearly 4-5 times the normal retail price is just excessive. It's really disappointing to see a children's toy priced this way, especially when parents are already trying to shop smart and make their money stretch. It feels like taking advantage of the excitement around a hard to find item instead of offering fair pricing to customers. Just a reminder to always check prices before buying into the hype. Don't overpay when the same item may be available elsewhere for a much more reasonable price.
