She was polite and certainly knew her job, but she wasn't moving merchandise in a warehouse. At this moment she was the Face of Family Dollar, and because of this, her job performance was left wanting. She's not the first. I've seen others behave in this manner on other occasions, I've seen Walmart employees more interested with what was blasting in their ear rather than how to adequately serve the customer. Oh, how I wish more people would put the customer first, not because I deserve it, but because I have a choice in where I can spend my money and this doesn't appear to be a problem with the staff, this is reflective of a management and a training problem. Sometimes, and this happens more often at the Mansfield location but has begun to happen here now as well, the cashier will be holding a happy conversation with a black person or couple in front of us. When it's our turn the cashier won't even greet us with a "Hello". What's even worse is when the cashier actually has the nerve to hold a conversation with black people behind us in line while she's still checking us out and ignoring us! There is absolutely no excuse for this behavior. You never ignore the customer who you're helping and who is standing right in front of you to talk to someone else. If these were my employees this nonsense wouldn't be happening. They obviously have zero customer service experience and a chip on their shoulders when it comes to white people. If they were my employees they would get one warning to treat everyone the same then they'd be fired if they didn't. Walmart needs to take notice.

It was definitely nice to have a lottery ticket in Louisiana. Spoiler alert. I didn't win. The Time I spent here at this convenience store could be signed up within 10 minutes. upon arrival, I circled the store to see what they had. I gravitate towards the fridge and checked out the selection of drinks. I sort of wanted alcohol, but I had a marathon to run the next day, so I had to not buy it for my sake. I did pick up some iced tea and water. I picked up also some brownies, which was very good after dinner. After picking up my purchases, I went to the counter and pay for my stuff with a credit card. Since lottery tickets were cash only, I had enough to cover that without having to go to the ATM. It was a good day when I buy lottery tickets, but still sad that I did not win. So sad for my own good anyway. This Circle K location was pretty decent and clean. Everything was organized and priced accordingly. Most convenient store items are generally cheap, so is also why people like to stop at these locations because they are the life blood of this economy, especially on long road trips. Not sure if they have public restrooms here, since I didn't have to go then. But do ask if they do just in case the service here was friendly and professional. It was a nice stop to grab items for my dinner here at the Circle K convenience store, especially because it was next-door to this Popeyes fried chicken restaurant. It was so convenient for sure. There was a couple of people in the store already when I entered. The store itself was large enough to make 3 minutes if you walked around the entire store. They have probably a good selection of everything that most people need on a daily basis, usually snack foods and soda pop. Among other things, this Circle K convenience store is a good place to go shopping. Well shopping here isn't quite the glamorous thing I had hoped for, it is very convenient for me since I didn't have to take an Uber. Since the hotel was with within walking distance, it was nice to have this convenience store nearby so I could walk to the hotel versus taking an Uber again. And so, this Circle K convenience store was definitely nice to stop in and grab some stuff for the evening. With that said, if you're in the area of greater Shreveport Louisiana and need anything deliciously sinful, consider coming to the Circle K convenience store. Priced right for your budget and excellent brownies. They also sell lottery tickets too. Try your luck if you can afford it! Recommended if you are passing thru the area and need sustainable items to keep you going. This particular Circle K convenience store is located at 130 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in beautiful south Shreveport, Louisiana. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, I believe that they have some parking areas for you to park in. As for me, though, I ended up arriving here at the Popeyes fried chicken restaurant via Uber. Then I walked over to the Circle K convenience store, as aforementioned above. I do not know if there is a public bus route that comes through the area, but best thing to do is to check online, see if it does, and plan your travel accordingly. And of course, if you really really need to, there's Uber and Lyft to get yourself here as well. And so, best bet would be to come here during non peak times because less people in the store and less cars parked in the parking lot. However you get here to Shreveport, Louisiana, you might as well come and get some food and drinks here at the Circle K. Plus, lottery tickets ain't shabby either.
