While shopping in the safety section, I was clearly trying to find something and looked a bit lost. Gio, who was stocking shelves in electronics, noticed I needed help, stopped what he was doing, and took the time to ask if I needed assistance and if there was anything he could help me find. His willingness to step away from his task and genuinely help a customer made a huge difference. This was especially meaningful because, unfortunately, many shopping experiences lately have left me frustrated because employees often don't acknowledge customers or take the extra step to help locate an item. Gio did exactly what great customer service should look like -- he listened, cared, and made an effort to assist. Although the item I was looking for was no longer available, the service I received made the trip worthwhile. Before leaving, I decided I wanted to share my appreciation with a manager. I approached another employee, Jayson, and explained that I wanted to speak with someone about the excellent service I had received. Without hesitation, Jayson politely called for a manager and directed me where to meet them. His professionalism and willingness to help were another excellent example of what customer service should be. This was hands-down the best experience I have had in a store since before the pandemic. I had a very disappointing experience at the Target on Bitters. I placed a curbside order for a…read moregreen Five Star folder with prongs, but the curbside employee first brought the wrong color, then returned with the correct color but the wrong style. When I tried to explain both times, she interrupted me, walked away, and spoke to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. After going inside, I found the correct folder myself in less than two minutes. At Guest Services, instead of listening to what had happened, the employee assisting me repeatedly insisted the curbside worker couldn't have been responsible, even after I explained that she had personally returned with a different folder. I had to ask for a manager because I felt I wasn't being heard. Even the simple exchange became unnecessarily confusing until the manager stepped in. I understand that mistakes happen, but there is no excuse for rude customer service or dismissing a customer's concerns. I remained polite throughout the entire interaction, yet I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. While I understand the convenience of self check out when it's really busy within the store, I do not understand why the customer reps there wait behind the counter until all the customer self checkouts are full before they open up their register. Literally two cashiers were standing there, chatting away with each other like it was their primary job, while customers with 15 items or more are expected to self checkout, reach around the counter to grab their own bags, and bag their groceries. They waited until the two self-checkout slots were full to open up their register and was able to checkout a customer in half the time it took for me to bag up and pay for my items. Literally had a "register closed" sign while standing behind the register and talking with each other. So this is what they're getting paid for?

The prices of the cards are Hallmark prices but the gifts were reasonable priced. They have a good rewards program that you can sign up for for free. You'll receive a coupon for the next time you go along with another to use during a particular timeframe. The owner was very kind and welcoming to every customer. I'll be back.
