Went with our friends after a nice Sunday brunch. It was sort of organized, in sections, but not exactly. Socks were in multiple places and the shoe section had shoes in the wrong box or just one shoe not a pair. I wanted to find a pair of HOKAs, which I did. I also got a cute pair of flamingo socks for my dad and another pair of SmartWool hiking socks that were marked $22 but rang up at $6. Nice! Definitely ask for the prices at check out. They had discounts on top of discounts, so a few of the SPF shirts that we bought were heavily discounted and a few we left at the store. Still, Going, Going, Gone is a nice place to hunt for a bargain in South Florida.

I thought I would share an experience that I had at the…read moreDollar Tree on February 27th around the time of 6-7pm at the following location 1136 Royal Palm Beach Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. I was checking out at the register with a couple of items that also included a couple Nivea 8.7oz shaving foams. I handed the coupons to the cashier who said he needed to confirm with the manager if he could accept the coupons. The coupon stated as follows: save 2$ off of (1) Nivea men creme OR on any (2) shaving gel or foam products (3.5 - 8.7 oz). This was a clipped coupon from the newspaper and not a printed coupon. The manager came and immediately looked at the coupon and said she would not honor it. She said the coupon stated it was for 1 item not two and that dollar tree would not accept those coupons anymore. I told her to read the coupon that in fact it is for two shaving foams, it scans and that I had used it at other dollar trees without any problems. I also mentioned that dollar tree coupon policy online states that dollar tree does accept coupons that are about the face value of the product but the coupon is rounded down to 1 dollar. She then raised her voice in front of everyone in line and grabbed a piece of paper next to the register and said, "You can read this all you want and you'll see that our policy says we don't take those coupons." I asked her why she was acting so hostile to me, as I didn't understand why there was a reason she should raise her voice to me and she started yelling at me in front of a long line of customers saying, "We lost $33,000 alone in this store last year to coupons and we aren't going to be accepting those anymore." I kindly asked the cashier to void out the shaving foams, paid for my other items and left absolutely embarrassed. The name of the manager according to her name tag was Donna. Rude and unprofessional behavior. I will not be coming back here again.

While inside the room I heard a lady right outside the door loudly say "I'm watching these shop lifters in the fitting room" assuming she was talking to another employee but said it so to make it very clear everyone in the fitting rooms that we were being suspected of stealing. I came out and obviously put every item of clothing back on the rack because I refuse to buy from a store whose manager wants to accuse people of stealing. I was very upset because I was going to buy at least 6 different items of clothing but after hearing what she said I just left. Not before confronting her for what she blatantly said. She brushed me off and denied accusing me of anything. Needless to say, I shop at this store weekly because it's close by and I spent a good amount there. I am so appalled at how a manager would treat customers it makes me sick. No wonder no one ever shops there and it's basically empty all the time. I will be reporting her and I hope she changes her attitude and apologizes to me for such thoughtless accusations.

There is ample parking in the plaza, and everytime I've gone, I was in and out so quickly. Exiting the plaza, you can turn directly onto the road where fairgrounds parking is located. I stopped here twice recently just before going to the Fair. I purchased beverages to bring in with me. They have a random selection of refrigerated beverages, and all of the drink fridges by the checkout counters had the same prices for each item- still $1.25. I selected pretty large flip top water bottles, plus snapples, for my kids and I to bring in to the fair, already nice and cold. If you need something before a concert or the fair, this is the place to do. I even found children's Tylenol in a pinch. In previous trips, I've grabbed hand sanitizer wipes and disposable tissues. So glad this Dollar Tree is in this location!

They also have one of the Orange Theory locations I go to, which is, technically, my home location. Retail-wise, they have a Home Goods, a Marshalls, a Dick's clearance store, a pet supplies store, and a GameStop, amongst other businesses. There's a Comcast/Xfinity location for those who have the service. Restaurant-wise, they have mostly chains like Carrabba's, Panera Bread, First Watch, World of Beer, Don Ramon, Outback, Jamba Juice, and Froyolicious. They also have a good Indian restaurant, Duck Donuts recently moved in, a New Haven-style pizza parlor, and a solid (albeit a little pricey) Sushi and Asian restaurant.
