I came into the store to complete an exchange. When I approached the register, I was greeted--or rather, not greeted--by a cashier named Ronnie. She did not acknowledge me, make eye contact, or return my polite "hello." I let it go at first, assuming she may have been busy or having a long day. However, the encounter quickly escalated when I asked a clarifying question about the pricing on the items involved in the exchange. Rather than offering assistance or explanation, Ronnie abruptly responded, "The computer doesn't lie," in a tone that was both dismissive and unnecessarily sharp. Given the size of my transaction, I attempted to calmly ask for more information. However, Ronnie continued to speak to me in a condescending manner, which only heightened the discomfort of the exchange. At that point, another cashier named Wendy, who had overheard the conversation, asked if everything was okay. I shared that I was feeling uncomfortable and condescended to. Instead of listening or offering support, Wendy abruptly jumped to Ronnie's defense and began speaking to me in the same disrespectful tone. It was two employees doubling down on unkindness in a public space--without a manager in sight. What should have been a straightforward transaction turned into a distressing and frankly humiliating ordeal. I left the store feeling shaken and disrespected, not only by the unprofessionalism of the staff, but also by the apparent lack of basic customer service standards.

(TJ max, Home sense, Marshall's etc) I came here twice recently because they were one of the few places that carried wine racks. There are several sources online, and most big box stores like Lowe's and HD carry them, but ONLY online. Someone who does frequent places like this alerted me to their existence so I made the effort to look. When I finally found them I was surprised that the size of one was almost perfect, as was the amount of bottles it could hold. In my mind I was picturing all wood, so I decided to look at a sister store, Home Sense, to see if they had others. They had an all wood version that was larger but held fewer bottles. I came back the next day with a shopping cart and purchased the floor model. Here's where I find fault with places like this, surely this item came packaged in a box? Why not keep a few in the boxes so they don't get damaged? There were scuffs on one side, and the distressed wood top had a slight flaw too. And I'm sure as the furniture gets bigger here, there's more of an opportunity for those items to be damaged by other shoppers. The same goes for almost all items, they seem to be haphazardly merchandised and then overstocked. What I was a fan of is the customer service. I needed help on my first visit and the associate I encountered was cheerful and friendly and showed me the secret location. The same was true the next day but by a different employee, and then again at the register by the cashier. I ultimately opened up a credit card to get a 10% off coupon, but I do need a few other things from here so I'll be back. 3.5, nothing personal Yelps

Finally a consignment with high quality sweaters in small sizes! The quality of clothing here is gently pre-owned, with some vintage brand names sprinkled throughout. I was excited to find a few of my favorite European brands here too. The prices reflect the quality, e.g. if you're buying silver you're paying for silver. I will say that the furs are a bit of a deal considering that they don't smell like they've absorbed 30 years of smoke the fur lays smooth, and still they have all their buttons. The men's section is decent too with more American vintage brands, made to last. Lots of fun silk ties and sashes, and plenty of sporting coats for all of your scholarly needs. The one thing I didn't like about this shop was the young customers! Loudly complaining about the prices, and minor defects in some of the clothes. Most of the items in this shop are statement pieces or items designed to last. You are not going to find prices akin to temu or shein for well made items! (With the exception of the $1 t-shirt rack...) This is a well curated consignment shop. Leaving 4 stars because I didn't get to explore the second half of the store full of home decor! I'll be back again.

It is neither quaking, nor bridged, nor particularly Quaker, though I did feel a strange spiritual calm while waiting in line at Auntie Anne's, watching dough be twisted into symbols of carbohydrate comfort. There's a Cheesecake Factory, which exists on the same moral plane as purgatory: vast, overlit, and full of folks trying to remember what it was they came in for. The mall is clean. The ceilings are high. The escalators move up and down like Sisyphus with a corporate sponsor. No one seems to know why they're there, but they are, floating from JC Penney to Old Navy in a retail daze. The air smells faintly of artificial scents and unspoken longing. There's something poetic about a mall in the 21st century. A living fossil. A place where you can still see teenagers in small herds, clutching bubble tea and dreams. I had a horrible experience this Christmas at this store. I had purchased two gift cards for $150…read more each, so I spent $300 in their store. When the receivers of our gifts (a husband and wife) went to spend the gift cards there they were told that one had a balance of "Zero" already. When I asked to speak to the manager, the manager told me to take it up with Customer Service myself, and I was directed to them myself! But how could this resolve the problem since they can't see me or my receipt in person? And why wasn't this their problem right there at the store since they had sold the cards to me? I had given the gift receiver my paid receipt; fortunately! What they alluded to was that the card had already been used, which was ludicrous. What an embarrassing scene this was for the gift-receiver standing their at the cash register and for me when she called me to tell me there was a problem. Again, I insisted l speak to the manager on her phone right then and there as the receiver of my gift stood there at the cash register. When I did, I insisted she handle the problem right then and there, and not put it back on me. Very eventually they did solve the problem but only after I insisted. I was told that they eventually found the $150. card that I should have been given, somewhere in their store and it had been canceled. They just wanted me to go away; but I wouldn't. Good thing I was persistent in insisting they handle this. I will never again purchase any thing for myself or anyone else in this store. Beware of purchasing gift cards. They have left me with the impression that they can't hire and train their employees in such a way that they can serve their clients properly. Cash only from now on and anywhere else. Can you imagine how frustrating this was for both the giver and the receiver. The gift receiver walked out of the store with nothing to purchase that day even though the issue with the card was cleared up. Why? Because while she was standing there at the register so long, they put all her merchandise back. If I hadn't spoke to the manager myself I'm certain she would have had to walk out of there without her new properly credited $150 gift card as well. She was forced to leave empty handed as she had spent so much time there already that she was late for a very important appointment. I'm still livid. How humiliating. Thanks for a Merry Christmas Dick's.
