This Dollar Tree location has a solid supply of goods that seem to be restocked regularly. They are also right on schedule when it comes to seasonal supplies and decor. The balloon center is busiest on Fridays and Saturdays, so beware. The manager said they generally try to blow up a number of balloons in advance, so they are ready to go. However, if you come in with a list be prepared for the possibility of a long wait. The parking lot is quite large as it's shared with the greater shopping center complex. There are a fair number of accessible spaces in front of the building, and a healthy number of shopping carts for shoppers. May 1, 2025, As usual I paid a lot of money and could not use my food or drinks. It stinks and had been opened and glued or resealed. The next time I come I plan to have the health department look into what is going on. I see some of the customers stealing my things from my shopping cart and stalking me up and down the isles. But I also believe it is some of the workers involvement. This is hateful and discrimination. I have already sent an email to the Federal Government. This has happened to me each time that I shopped from this store. I have spent a lot of my EBT , Insurance Healthy food benefits and my Social Security Income. Located just a block past Mall 205 shopping area, this is a really decent Dollar Tree. Like all of these stores, it's hit or miss because they are always restocking items so you may arrive when there are boxes everywhere and the store appears cluttered. Or right after they stocked and your surprised at how neat, organized the store is with lots of inventory. It is what it is. I always have my expectations in check when I visit these stores. Everything is a dollar! You are not going to get a Nordstrom's experience!!! Yes, sometimes there are long lines because there is only one register open. Yes, sometimes it looks like a tornado went through. That's usually the inconsiderate customers, though. But the pile of items in your arms will ring up to less than $10 so consider the long line, the clutter, as part of the price. It's still worth it! I shop at these stores for paper napkins & plate, wrapping paper & gift bags, balloons, ziplock bags, Reynolds wrap, parchment paper, cleaning products and some craft items. Also greeting cards, which are 2 for a dollar and seasonal items. Have also been known to pick up a box of Milk Duds or 6-pack of fun sized candy, especially in the days when we could go to a movie. read more

Decent Dollar Tree location. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I've been here. I usually come here for cards, candy, gift wrap, holiday decor and mainly mylar balloons! They have a nice selection of balloons to chose from. They used to keep quite a few blown up in front of the store, especially during holidays, but they stopped doing that and instead blow them up to order. This can be kind of a hassle as it is sometimes difficult to get someone to help with balloons if there is only one cashier :-/ The other drawback to this location is the parking. They do have a parking lot, but they're part of a strip mall, so it can be difficult to get a close spot. I probably shouldn't share this, but there are usually open spaces on the side of the building...good choice if it's raining :-D Would recommend this location if you're in the area. read more

This dollar tree is located in the Mall 205 area, and conveniently located next to other stores I needed to go to. Been here a time or two before. Seemed like a decent size dollar tree. They were stocking so it was kind of cluttered. All I needed were some baskets for my garden and happen to score on 50% off Easter clearance. I stop at the dollar tree first when I need some kind of organization, holders, or whatever Knick-knack as they usually have it. Pretty good quality on some items, and for a good price too. I usually browse through their candy aisle and snag a couple snacks- especially for a birthday, I come here and fill a bag with candy and other fun misc stuff. And the cards are 2 - $1. One of the better Dollar Trees in Portland. I came a few days before Christmas and treats were stocked well, I still managed to find good wrapping supplies and goody bags. The Dollar Tree is seriously a source of internal struggle for me. When visting, my inner dialogue often goes something like this: "Wow, look at all this crap! And it's all only $1 each! I could buy so much of it!" "But it's all a bunch of crap! Plastic crap. It's not even worth the $1 you're going to pay for it!" "But... but you can't get ANYTHING for a dollar any more. The people that work here are extremely unprofessional. It's not that I expect much... I think the Dollar Tree is such a low class place that you should just go in, grab what you need, and split... And $1 for most things in that store is actually an over-charge if you consider how much less quantity-wise, or the low quality of a certain product, in comparison to an extra $0.50 at Walmart. Or even the fact that you can get things for $0.99 in a real store. Anyways, back to their customer service. It's not like they have a stellar staff in any of these stores, but this location is especially horrible. They have conversations between each other that are incredibly unprofessional. I really could care less about a cashier's life, but then to be forces to hear about it when all I'm trying to do is give them money? I call BS. Then when we were there yesterday, they opened an extra register. This blonde girl yelled that she could help the next customer, so I politely waited in my line and let the lady in front of me go over to that register. Hello. NEXT CUSTOMER. That would've been her, not me. And since she went over, it only made sense that I stayed in my line. My boyfriend and I put 16 items up at the register, and then the blonde girl called out again, "I can take another customer over here." No one cared. She lost her patience pretty quick and added, "No one? NO ONE? Alright. Offer's gone" and stormed off into the manager's office. I sincerely hope she's not a manager. She can have a title, but probably would start with a "C", not an "M". She honestly waited a max of three minutes before she huffed and puffed and left. Lady, I loaded 16 items up onto the register. If I needed to grab all those things and bring them over into your line, you would've left before I could've done that. I don't know how many items the person waiting in the other line had up on the register, but come on. Sorry if we offended you by being content in the lines we were in. My stuff was already at the register and the person in front of me was all rung up, just paying. If you're really that bitter that no one wanted to pay at your register, maybe you should try being less of the person you are so people will want to approach you. My Husband went with me to the Dollar Tree ( I guess it's in Mill Park ) off of SE Washington Street. We purchased A LOT of Valentine's Day Cards. I also used the facilities. They were mostly Clean. We also purchased some Plastic Plant Markers for our Gardens - so we can remember what we planted, in which plot. I've found that the Puzzles at the Dollar Tree are Great Fun! I've also purchased, in the Past, some Fake Flowers... so that I can Create my own Floral Arrangement. I'm Allergic to Pollens. I ended up stopping by here since I spotted it on my way to Denny's. This was probably the worst Dollar Tree I've ever been in. It was dirty and the floors were pretty disgusting. A lot of areas/shelves were completely wiped out of items. Most annoyingly though, they had an item of the week advertised on the door (which every Dollar Tree updates and swaps out every week at every store I've been to) and said item could not be found anywhere. I approached an employee working here to ask if they had the item of the week because usually they have it up front and they had nothing there. They also didn't have any of the item anywhere in the usual aisle it can be found as well. The employee got weirdly defensive (which isn't surprising because Dollar Tree employees will usually buy out said item of the week before they put it out at some stores) and said they'd never seen said item whatsoever. They also made sure to push that they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't be bothered to help me. It was the epitome of the laziest employee I've ever seen or spoken to. My mom and i just went into this store and there was a male employee working being rude to EVERY customer. I bought a good amount of stuff and he was being extremely passive aggressive to me. The card reader was taking its time so i grabbed a bag to put it in my cart and he decides to yell and point to the card reader, which was unnecessary. I then tried to leave because he was just saying rude comments such as "sorry about that" to the customer behind me. To make matters worse, I didn't know the carts didn't go outside and he scoffed at me and laughed at me extremely rude and yelled "CARTS DO NOT GO OUTSIDE" i quickly grabbed my stuff and left the store.
