Once again this show has disappointed my car club.... Even…read morethough a few of our club members wanted to go anywhere else, a couple people talked us into giving the MI Antique Fest ONE MORE TRY. What a waste of time and money! Charge way to much to get in, even charged for the driver of a show car. Fewer vendors each year as this once great show dies slowly like a fish out of water. The entire fairgrounds used to get filled with vendors, now less than 1/2 full. I realize Midland County most likely has raised the cost to rent the grounds, but at what cost to the show quality and numbers? Plus, I was surprised with a free ticket to get in the next day. $10 is a deal for shopping, being outside in a beautiful park, good food and getting back to normal. I love a company that gives back to their community! Also, I bought a very cool dresser and some heavy glass and a very handsome fireman assisted me with getting it back to my vehicle. I used to shop at Meijer…read moreon Tittabawassee Road and one of the things that really caught my eye is that the Tittabawassee Road store has several resting benches within the store display area, where Midland only has one located outside the cashier area. Today while shopping, my knee "went out" and I was urgently looking for somewhere to sit and rest. To no avail, I had to stop shopping and had to leave to come home. I would recommend placing a bench or two in the middle of the store, like some other Meijer's stores.

There was a long line I just commented to the others individual that wow long line wasn't being rude was just saying to the others that I was with and We weren't even in her line and she starts ranting and raving that she was going as fast as she could to a customer she was waiting on and saying another checker was coming and she continued on about I'm going as fast as I can not twice but four to five times. She was directing it to me and I said not complaining I was just saying just rude she was. Bad attitude. I'd avoid just for the rotten customer service to begin with.

Turns out the entire warehouse was void of any employee. I walked a long way found someone and said nobody at the front door....when the guy on the phone got rude and said, I was not allowed in the warehouse. I told him I assumed that he was on a break because he didn't even acknowledge me with a finger up or quick..."in a second" from his call. So then this guy got smart mouthed and said I should have just "known" to stand around until his phone call was done. Done...for sure, salvation army down the road for all my goods from now on. Avoid this store....the employees don't care...at least most I have interacted with.
