We used to travel to Southern California or Nevada to go to these discount stores. So glad to have them much closer nowadays. We checked all of the standard items we love and actually found some new things. We bought some half rulers so they could fit into the desired size of box we use to send these to children at the holidays. We are huge into Lego bricks, so I, of course, bought us a few of our favorite larger than a shoebox plastic storage containers. Definitely worth stopping in to make some purchases when you are in the area. Terrific products at a great value and friendly, helpful employees to help you.

This was a whimsical visit after enjoying lunch at Panera Bread. Curious about this Japanese company I sauntered inside I saw a bright new store with vibrant colors and numerous well laid out long isles largely running front to back. Lots of things to take after a gaze and for a photo. Then there were the kitchen wares, a new set of four chopsticks for work, food products, Roman's, noodles, drinks, candies that interested me. I ended up with some kitchen drawer organizers, a few drinks, some candy to try and my chopsticks. Value 4/5 It is hard for me to compare to the fantastic variety of quality big box Pacific Rim grocery stores and malls we have in the east valley where I typically buy in bulk. But for a neighborhood convenience market it's probably a good value. Service 3/5 Fast & Friendly service. For a newbie first visitor someone could have welcomed me and introduced me to their store. They were completely out of bags for bagging your purchases so off I went juggling what I did buy. You neighborhood Japanese store my friends-SYOY!

First of all, the staff are wonderful! I always like chatting with Tracy when I go in and most…read moreeveryone is helpful and kind. As has been mentioned in previous reviews it can be a complicated relationship with Mac Bid, but for what it provides it has been a lot of fun. Seriously.... Where else can you pick up a set of bagpipes for $13 and a computer desk for $12 in the same haul? The randomness of what is offered is one of the pluses for Mac Bid. You can find some great deals and really unusual finds. Just do your due diligence on the condition of the goods. Once you're used to the rules, policies, and the expectation that you may have some bad buys (but overall in my experience it's covered by the savings) it can be really fun. The memberships do help with holds and being able to transfer between Phoenix and Mesa Warehouses. I much prefer Mesa as it seems to be much friendlier and more organized. Happy Hunting!

I purchased a vacuum cleaner head, but when I got home, I discovered I had been given PLASTIC CUPS…read more Not a defective accessory or a missing part an entirely different product. When I returned to resolve this, they refused to take it back, saying it was my responsibility to check the item before leaving. Even after speaking with the manager and repeatedly explaining the situation, I got the same response: "That's our policy." No empathy, no reasonable solution, and no willingness to take responsibility. How does an inspection policy justify leaving a customer paying for something they never purchased? I expected to receive the item I paid for. That is the most basic expectation in any transaction. I have never had a shopping experience like this. I left feeling cheated, dismissed, and completely frustrated. After getting nowhere, I left the incorrect item at their location and will be disputing the charge. The wrong item was frustrating enough. Their refusal to make it right was worse. Based on this experience, I would never shop here.
