Everything is marked with a date, the longer its been there, the more discount the item has. As you enter you will find a sheet of paper that has the dates on it and shows you how much of discount you will get. I have found many things deep discounted and I love to shop here. I have found everything from my favorite designer condition in a large bottle (score!) to my big screen T.V. It does have a very "flea market" vibe to it, but I don't mind! They get a lot of Target things along with dented items and broken boxes. You have 30 days to return whatever you purchase in case it doesn't work! I love Bargin Hunt and consider the Maryville location my favorite.

Now that the company has opened up so many stores, I think the "good" stuff is getting spread around much thinner. There are still the occasional good bargains that show up, but not nearly as often, and I've started noticing them putting FUTURE dates on their tags. Everything is dated on the 1st, 10th, or 20th of the month, so I can get if an item dated, say, 9/20 gets put out sometime after 9/10...but when items are being put out with a date a month (or sometimes more!) in advance, it seems a little disingenuous to advertise prices go down after they've been there for 1 month when that clock doesn't start for some time to come. Admittedly, this location isn't *quite* as bad about this as the Knoxville location seems to be, but it is still a bit of an issue. They are still a great place to find occasional clothing bargains (my wife frequently finds decent items that have reached 90% off the marked price), but they've not had as many cool electronics and gadgets, which I am generally more interested in.

I'm writing this solely for their deli-hot bar. I love such small places that still specialize in that, every once in a while. So, today I go here and get fried chicken, a spanish-rice dish, and some good green beans...and it's $8, and no tip needed. The fried chicken was quite good. I will say, it seemed fresher than some of the other entrees, and I was a bit put off when I asked the server what one casserole was and she turned around looking for someone else, then said "I THINK it's taco casserole." So, I can suggest you LOOK at what is out there and pick what you think is freshest, or choose things like the well-cooked green beans with bacon bits where fresh is not key. There's an area to the back left part of the store when entering where items are up for bid and a book is there for your entry.
