Sure, they have a lot of the same stuff that comes in over and over, but there's always something NEW stocked in between all that older stuff sitting there on the shelves. Place looked like hell, trashy under previous Management. New Management and new set of Employees has really cleaned it up. Worth a walk thru every couple of weeks just to see what all has come in recently. Do Recommend. At the very least, stop by and just walk thru it. Even going in not looking to buy anything, you're going to BUY something. Guaranteed. (LOL)

I was in Dollar General on 4th Street recently, where I slipped and fell in what looks like a pile…read moreof shaving cream. The friend I was with heard me cry out and came over to help me up. I was crying profusely when my friend helped me walk to front of store. We were told there was no manager working that night. Another lady came out of the break room behind the register and was told I had fallen on row *****. The one thing this second woman said was "I can't believe no one has cleaned that up. Witness can verify that statement. Crying all the way to the hospital, my friend rolled me in and I was given a CT scan, which concluded I had a deep contusion. My hamstring, glute and back hurt so bad, I couldn't get out of my Moms recliner the following day. The second day after the fall, a friend flew to Lubbock to drive me home to Dallas. I was off work for a month- no way I could do my job until I could at least lift my leg or bend over to put on a shoe. Just walking thru the grocery store was agonizing. I am writing this review so people will know that Dollar General totally ghosted me. I returned the call from the manager 3 times, and no response. I can't believe that they did not offer to pay my hospital bill ($1800), nor any compensation for a month out of work and two therapy sessions a week. They claim they are not responsible. I am not done pursuing a personal injury suit again DG. But a piece of advice, go somewhere the staff actually cares about their customers. This place is pathetic. No accountability and no concern shown at all.

I have been a customer of this store for some time. The people that work at this store are always…read morepolite and helpful, and when I needed to buy a sofa I wanted to shop local and support the store. I purchased a $600 sofa one year and two months ago, and paid an extra $70 for the furniture protection plan they offer. I was concerned that the fabric (faux leather) might not hold up, and they pushed this protection plan as the 'end all' wonderful coverage plan that would replace the sofa should anything happen. So, I don't have many visitors (I'm a teacher so most of my time is spent at work). My sofa started to rip, the vinyl/faux leather is quite literally deteriorating. I keep excellent records, I have all receipts and the warranty booklet. I called the store, they told me to file a claim with the coverage plan. I called the coverage plan 1-800 number, and they told me there was nothing they could do, the warranty for rips and poor fabric was only good for one year? So, I was talked into a three year plan for nothing. The representative told me that after the first year, they only cover the wood breaking in the sofa. I called the local Big Lots store back, to see if they could help at all, and was told that there was nothing they could do, the protection plan HAD to be the one to cover my claim. I called the protection plan 1-800 number again, and they told me my claim was denied. So I'm stuck with a horrid quality $600 sofa and an expensive coverage plan that doesn't cover anything. Don't make the mistake of buying anything even fairly expensive here, the quality is lacking and they don't back up their products. So disappointed.

Denver City only…read morehas one pathetic grocery store, the manager is extremely rude and hateful, and the produce department is the most disgusting collection of rotten filth I've ever seven in my entire life. Keep up the good work DG, this small town's reside to need you desperately, it's too far to Hobbs or Seminole.

This has got to be the trashiest dollar general around. The parking lot, inside store and…read moresurrounding area is always covered in trash. The aisles are always blocked with empty boxes, carts and bags. I couldn't tell you the last time the floors have ever been swept or mopped for that matter. The aisles are always in disarray. There is zero organization or aisle attention. They're always out of basic stuff. Employees are rude and simply do not care. It's almost like the owner just doesn't freaking care about this store
