When I first walk into the local Price Less store, there are stacked metal bins with is MADE TO…read moreSEEM as if the current items in said bins, are on sale, at that moment. Not so! IF they bother to put up a sign , the sign will have what is to be the "sale price" in bigger lettering. In smaller lettering, you'll see it isn't actually on sale until a week or two, later. Not technically, legally FALSE ADVERTISING, just more under handed business practices. A lot of our elderly people only see the price, get the item NOT ACTUALLY ON SALE, YET, and are none the wiser that they were DUPED. Within some of those same bins, there may be, say, cake mixes of all varieties. So, the big lettering shows price below a dollar; great, right?! Not so much. In tiny letters the sign says "select varieties only". It never says anything like, "Yellow cake mix variety only", so you get duped at the register. The older employees know the scams, and EVERY TIME I call out the GRIFT, the older women ALWAYS blame it on "new stock boys, young and don't know what they are doing". The store also attempts to make you FORCE BUY, by keeping lower priced items out of reach on the very top shelf, pushed back, where you can see the item, but it's ever out of reach. If you really need the item, then you are inconveniently FORCED to buy the more, over stocked, expensive choice. I see the elderly struggling to see the price stickers that are impossible to read, as the type-set is as tiny as the devil's contract is where the devil promises that the devil's NOT in the details. And forget about reading the stickers on the items sitting on the lower shelves! Impossible for an elder to stoop as low as the store, itself!! And, lastly, the "new, young stock boys" always gets the blame for for putting the cheaper store brand in the slots of the higher priced name brands slots, as to deceive the customer into actually buying the high priced name brands, thinking it's a better value, that day, instead of the always cheaper store brand. When I go shopping there (as I have very little choice in the matter, I am vigilant. I not only look after my own welfare, but try to help the elderly and the struggling poor, in my community.

The cashier asked the man in front of me if he wanted to round up but just rounded my total up without asking? I really don't care if it's 50¢, $2, or 1¢. I don't know, it just doesn't sit right with me that I wasn't asked & she just did it anyways. Then I went on to ask if she rounded it up & pretty much told me they raised their prices on everything (which I've shopped since they did that & know they did that, I didn't need an explanation) She 100% treated me like I was a child who didn't understand money. I probably will not be back to this location, or at least not when she's working the register.

These locations Are plentiful in Louisville. This particular one is located in the hillview portion of Louisville just off Preston highway right before you get to the bullitt county line. Rather large location compared to other ones. I've been here several times over the years to do some bargain shopping or browsing. A lot of the items in these stores will give you nostalgic feels. My most recent visit was to help my father get a Mother's Day gift for my mom as he bought a rocking chair for there front porch and needed my vehicle to transport it. Overall all peddlers mall are cool to search through. Neat idea that evidently is successful as there are a whole bunch of locations in the Louisville area. I have a few family friends and relatives who have had booths at different locations over the years and they seemed to do well with it. So seems like a win win situation.

I needed to rent a 10' truck for a one way move out of state. I called Mini's a few days before I…read moreneeded the truck to see if I needed to reserve one. The person on the phone said that if I was there on the date I needed that I wouldn't have to reserve and that a 10' truck would be available. I made sure that he knew I wanted the 10'. He said yes. When I arrived to pick up the truck I was told that the 10' trucks are just for local moves and not used for long distances. He then said I could get a 10' truck at another location but I would have to go online to put in the order. When I got to the next U-Haul place they didn't have a 10', even though I was told they did. So, the next step was driving further out. I went back to Mini's and ended up getting a 20' truck which of course was more money and gas. I later found out that 10' trucks are never available except for local moves. No one told me this when I was renting.

But Carla, at the return desk was super efficient, pleasant and professional and had a credit posted to my account within 2 minutes, using information from my emails. We shopped (to use some of that credit since I had already paid the bill) and a clerk in rhe store was also super friendly and helpful inquiring if we needed help. Dressing rooms were free of cluter and accessible. Overall, an easy experience and I was able to use some of my credit on new dresses.

If your not familiar with kohl's they are a department store that sells clothing, toys, home appliances, shoes, and etc. they run great sales frequently and really have a great rewards program for there valued customers. Kohls on a whole hour can find amazing deals on great brands. However when a sale isn't being ran it can get pricey. But there sales are frequent and great. One of the new perks Kohl's and this location has added that I love is the return an Amazon product in store and they handle all the shipping for you. That's a great and smart partnership with Amazon. Makes it another and easier for customers. Overall this is a nice location. They do a good job of keeping it stocked and clean and the workers here are usually friendly.

Nicer dollar general located off Preston Highway in the bullitt county area…read more Very large parking lot and they do a solid job of keeping aisles clear and clean. We usually have to stop in here because my daughters cheer leading gym is down the street and she either forgot some socks or a hair scrunchy and it's 655pm and her practice starts at 7pm. So my wife or me is usually ripping and roaring through the aisles to grab something and make it to her practice in time. Solid location. Workers seem nice. It does the trick for what we need usually.
