We recently went there to find a bakers rack, a small rug and a larger pot for our plant. After searching for a bakers rack at various peddlers malls we found exactly what we needed at a reasonable price. In fact we realized that we needed a bigger area rug but lost the receipt. Fortunately as a rewards member they were able to look up the receipt, refunded the money back to our credit card and we then found exactly what we needed plus more. read more

I went with measurements today to purchase new cushions for my 8 year old patio furniture. They had a huge variety of colors and sizes. I spent at least 30 minutes trying to narrow down the ones I wanted since there were so many great choices. I also wanted a medium size fake plant for the lower shelf of my new foyer table. Again, a huge selection to choose from there. I did find one. I saw they had a huge selection of wall art and found 2 to bring home to try out in 2 different spaces on walls I needed something. I also remembered I wanted a mirror for the foyer and found the perfect one in their huge selection of mirrors. As I waited in the checkout line with my overflowing cart, I remembered using a coupon a few years back when I had shopped there. I was able today to find a valid one online for 20% off, but the cashier and I were unable to get it to work. She asked the manager on duty for assistance with it and the manager directed her to just give me 25% off my total. I was thrilled! That generous gesture saved me $102 off today's purchases! We hadn't been here in a long time but found what we were looking for. It took a while to find b/c of the sheer size of the place like 2 football fields wide. Some of the items looked cheaply made so shop wisely but you can almost anything in many varieties which is a big plus. Some areas had stuff all over the floor and not neatly stocked. A few areas were bare. Overall one can still enjoy coming here and find what you seek. Plus you can get plenty of steps in while you look. read more

At Home has all of your decor needs in one spot. The parking lot is HUGE so you will always have a spot. They offer a large amount of options for seasonal and holiday decor. They typically keep a few lanes open but I never had a long wait. I came here to stock up on new office decor and pretty much found everything that I needed at a decent price. read more

At Home. What a place. When you walk in you're smacked in the face with seasonal décor, and since it's November that was....you guessed it...Christmas! The aisled directly in front of the door showcase an amazing selection of Christmas lawn decorations, lights, and a selection of Santa's that is astounding. Inside this massive, meandering building is just about every kind of home décor you could ever want. You want Christmas? They've got Christmas. You want patio cushions? They're got patio cushions. You want exterior string lights? They've got exterior string lights. Bar stools? Yeap. Night stands? Yeap. A wall clock that's 3' in diameter. Yeap (several of those, actually) BUT WAIT. There's more! They've also got kitchen accessories in the form of linens, utensils pots and pans, and small appliances. So while you're trying to decide if those napkins go with this silverware and you suddenly think "I need to get a new comforter for the guest bedroom!", all you need to do is walk a few aisles and there are vast shelves with bedware. The point I'm trying to avoid overselling (but probably not succeeding very well at) is that when it comes to home décor, At Home probably has you covered. The staff here has always been great and (somehow) they know where just about everything is in the store and don't mind taking you to it. The store is 253% ENORMOUS and even with as many times as I've been there I still get turned around and end up somewhere I'd never seen before. I think you may be able to lay the Washington Monument on its side in this place and still have room for a picnic table. Go here...but do what I didn't and take a map and a compass. read more

Overwhelming and amazing!! Guys. Y'all. I just bought a house. And now I feel like I (and my fella) can start buying things that are less, shall we say....disposable? A house is a bit more permanent. Bigger. More freely personalize-able! But I am still a gal on a budget. So places like secondhand stores, TJ Maxx/HomeGoods, Overstock and now At Home are my my go-to places to find fun and affordable things for my home! And there is really something for everyone at At Home! I have never gone in there with an exact and specific need. I go in with an open mind and a color or a size of something in mind, ready to discover something wonderful! That said, the place is HUGE. Almost maze-like, it is easy to get turned around! Be ready to spend some time here! I mean...they have at least 10 rows for wall decor/hangings! It is mind boggling! But I absolutely love it. Even if I don't leave with something, it is a great place to get ideas, see what is available, and to just spend a few hours walking around looking at super cute home goods! I will say, if you need help with anything....good luck finding someone. The only times I have seen employees is at the registers at check out. I loveeeee this place. Seriously if there is anything you need for your home, this place has it. Plus everything you didn't think you would need. It takes a lot in me to not buy every color-coded, unique piece of decor they have. Truly that have excellent options on decor, garden, pillows, storage, furniture, and beyond. It sometimes is easy to get lost in there, but it's a huge place with a lot of goods. I can't speak much on service, but the check out counter staff were polite and pleasant! Just be careful driving into this location-- its hidden away behind a few other businesses with a lot of potholes, but well worth the drive. read more

When I first walked in this store, I thought to myself "Nah, I don't need a cart, I'm probably not even gonna buy anything." After taking a couple steps in to see the glory that is At Home, I walked right back out and grabbed a cart. And yes, purchases were made. Holy moly, this store is awesome!! I love looking at home decor items. My usual go to's are Target or Hobby Lobby, but sometimes their stuff can get a little pricey. Thankfully, we have this store that holds literally EVERYTHING you could possibly put in your home, and for a good deal. This place is about the size of a Costco on the inside, and there are huge sections for rugs, wall art, furniture and etc. I love how certain isles are marked in red if they are clearance sections. I think it also took me about an hour and a half to browse through everything. This store is such a great addition to Louisville...now all we need is an IKEA, and my life will be complete! read more

Very large store! I walked in, and was immediately shocked at how large this place is. I felt a little overwhelmed, but tried to stay to one side of the store. This location, to be such a large store- was very organized, and I found it to be exceptionally clean. The prices weren't bad for a lot of things, but some items I thought prices were a bit high. I also didn't notice any employees, until I reached check out. I absolutely loved the Halloween and fall decor! My children were thrilled to see the Halloween outside items(minions, ghosts etc) we actually purchased a few Halloween items bc who doesn't need Halloween items in June? Tried "curbside". Show up at bluegrass, no designated spots or area for "curbside" (these are air quotes). Go to email for a phone number, good, it says 'text you are here.' I do. 5 min later I add 'I'm outside front entrance'. 8-10 min later ( listening to Nate Bargatze's new podcast and am thoroughly entertained; however...) I text a screenshot of my order w number. 15 min later I call the gotdam number and no one answers. I. Go. In. Chick messing w carts has seen me and queries, I wondered if you were here to pick up. Hmmm. I show her the number they sent me. No big reaction, but I do get "I don't know who has the phone now" NO ONE HAS THE PHONE NOW. ITS SITTING ON A SHELF SOMEWHERE BUZZING ITS LITTLE BATTERY OUT. She is gone 7-8 min and returns with my mirror. I mean mirrors are fragile, right? This $100 3' mirror is in half of a box 1" deep. It's open faced. How it could have been shipped is beyond me. She graciously helps me get it in the rear, waiting while i lower he third row seats. It's 8:30 PM. Bad boy sits in the car all night. The next day I open the car to see that 2 of the 1"radiating sunburst mirrors are smashed. So I go today to return it. No customer service signs. As I stand holding this monster, masked, near a register a clerk finishes and I ask where I go for returns. "You just get in the regular line". There isn't one so she says when she finishes with her customer she'll take me. But nope. When she finishes she calls a lady who has just walked up. I do get seen by another register. I scroll to the email with the order number. "I can't find it with that. Put your credit card in. Are you a Perks Member?" I'll be double checking my visa transactions. After visiting At Home last weekend - and buying a dining table set - I went back today to roam by myself. This store is huge, so unless you're focused on a particular item or category, you need to give yourself time to shop. Here's a sampling of what you'll find: garden lawn decor, patio furniture and accessories, furniture, accent tables, home organization items, bathroom towels and accessories, pet beds, fake flowers, vases, candles, artwork and rugs. I know I've missed at least 10 other categories! It's quiet in the store and spotting an employee is rare, so if you need help be prepared to walk up front to speak to someone. They are obviously around though because for such a large store, the aisles are impressively tidy and organized. Most items, especially the "fun" ones are reasonably priced. What I'm not 100% confident about is their quality and durability. Over time as I shop and purchase more items, I'll have a better sense. If you enjoy aisles and aisles of options for home decor, you'll enjoy At Home. Make sure you grab a cart as soon as you walk in! read more

This store is huge! Get your hiking boots on and grab a cart (mainly to lean on). You will probably be there over 2 hours if you don't know exactly what you are going for in the first place; or even if you think you do. The selection is endless and sprawled all over. Many times we found ourselves down an aisle and had no concept of how to find our way back to the front (more signage would be nice). Prices are moderate and if you can't find it here;mthen your quest needs to expand outside of Louisville. My only complaint is that there needs to be more employees around to ask directions and questions. read more

Dress comfortably, eat before you go, and take water and a snack with you because you will certainly be here for a while! Be sure and grab a cart on your way in, even if you do not purchase anything it will serve as an (unusual) cane for support, which will likely be necessary before you leave! Even when I go with a specific item in mind, I can never get out without meandering down additional aisles when something catches my eye! Folks, can we say AISLES upon AISLES of baskets, metal wall art, canvas wall art, seasonal decor, linens, pillows, floral arranging supplies and soooo much more! On my most recent visit it seemed that there were more available and visible employees in the shopping area than in previous visits. All of the employees that I encountered were so very helpful and pleasant; one even walked me to the area that I needed to be in! (I am going to assume that she knew the likelihood of my getting lost, or, the fatigue from a 2-hour jaunt through the store was showing! ) This store is conveniently located off of South Hurstborne, right off of I 64 and has a huge lot with plenty of parking. This place is AMAZING! I traveled all over from Louisville to Lexington looking for a couple of barchairs for my new place (we literally had nothing to sit on for a week while waiting for our movers to arrive) and finally found what I needed, at a fair price... At Home! My husband actually got turned on to the place by a very helpful local at a furniture store that couldn't help him. He called me from At Home, once he arrived, and said... "You will not believe this place!"... He took me back with him the next day and not only did we find our chairs but lots of other fun things too. It's REALLY easy to get carried away there. They have EVERYTHING...and not only that, in some cases, 50 different kinds of everything! Now, you may have to dig through a little trash to find the treasures... some things there don't seem like they are the best if quality. But if you are having trouble finding something for your house at a fairly decent price... it might just be At Home! read more

If you have ever shopped the eclectic merchandise at Garden Ridge you'll know this store. The same location, the same merchandise minus a few departments. I happened in during the change over week to return a purchase I made at Garden Ridge. It was no problem even though the store has now created a new identity for themselves. After negotiating the return I briefly previewed the new store. What a deal I fell into. Since At Home is not going to carry books (or CD's) all books were advertised to be 49 cents. I found a thick hard back book detailing fabric embellishment ideas. Wow, this would sell for $15. or more anywhere else. I also picked up a variety of children's books for my grandson (Clifford the Big Red Dog, Clifford activity and coloring book, two paint with water books, a book on animals of the Rain Forrest with a button that you press to hear their sounds, and a CD of children's songs). For my daughter I bought a book of Sudoku puzzles. Out the door for all these purchases I paid $3.64 I can't give them a better rating yet because the store still has that made in China smell and a general feel of being filled to the brim with items that would not sell elsewhere. read more

This was the third time that I and my disabled 82 year old mother went to this store and the third time that the motorized carts for handicap individuals did not work. When my mother told a worker that the carts are shit because they never work, her comment was than don't get in them. I was stunned that a employee could say that to a customer. I put the stuff we had in my cart on the shelf and left. I called to complain and got a voice message. I will take this to the top. You can't talk to people like that, and continue to have customers go to your store to shop. read more

This place is a chaotic mess and doesn't have the most helpful employees. I asked to check if something was in stock (I had a pillow I wanted to know if I should search the disorganized racks for) and she said "we can't check" . Meanwhile when I called in later they were able to check and said they don't. They have lots of great stuff, if you can find it. They need to shut down for 24 hours and reorganize it. I WANT to love At Home, and will probably look around there more, but my current experience isn't the most positive. And frankly, I don't see any responses to Yelp reviews and it sort of looks like they aren't engaged with their customers or really interested in their experience. I just finished a kitchen remodel and want to purchase 4 counter height stools. WHO KNEW this was so difficult? Different heights, different styles, etc....I needed to see things in person. I headed over to At Home on a friend's recommendation, and the selection is HUGE (and slightly overwhelming). I found the stools and purchased two. Got them home and my husband requested a different style. No problem! I saw them at At Home! I checked Amazon and can get FOUR of them for $177. But at At Home they are $100 each. Wowza. That's $177 vs. $400. So I approached an employee to see if they price match (or heck, even come CLOSE). Nope. Okay, may I speak to a manager to see if there is some wiggle room/possible negotiation? Nope. We don't do that. Ohhhhhkay. I'll buy one for now, and then I'm just going to order the SAME STOOL from Amazon and now return all 3 of the stools I've been trying out. You make ZERO dollars. That doesn't seem like a good business model when stores are going out of business all the time because they cannot compete with online competitors. I understand overhead, and I don't need an exact price match. I'd prefer to buy from a physical store as opposed to online, but when the markup is well over 100%.....you just lost my business. read more

So, I have been in at home several times and I love it! They have a good selection of decor, furniture, organization; about anything home/outdoor related. But I just visited the Jeffersontown (Louisville area) at home location and was not very pleased with the way their store was organized...or should I say not organized! I will say they have cute decor and furniture but a lot of aisles had products all over the floor, you couldn't even go through the aisle with your cart (shown in the pics) there were carts EVERYWHERE, which looked to be full of returns/exchange items they hadn't been put away. Not only were the aisles messy but when you went to pay the, check out area had items piled up on the counter. If you live in the Bardstown area, I would definitely recommend the Elizabethtown at home location over this, they also have nice decor/furniture and kept very organized and clean, unlike this location! It was very hard to shop in a place so filled with clutter, when at home is not a store you have to dig around for items for. I really hope the management could clean up this store and make it more presentable and appealing to shop in, so when i'm in the Louisville area I can look forward to going here. read more

Prices are extremely cheap or very reasonable. 4. Trinkets galour. Cons: 1. I got lost, the place is a rubik cube of confusion. 2. There are at least 5 rows of throw pillows. I think At Home is a pretty great spot if you're looking for specific décor for your home. They have tons of decorative pillows, chairs, tables, and garden accessories. We recently purchased barstools from this location and had a very pleasant purchasing experience. So, based on that I would definitely recommend At Home. The reason for my three star review is due to the fact that a lot of what they have in the store isn't really functional. Most of the furniture is decorative only, so it would be difficult to find something (say a table or dresser) that you could actually use on a daily basis in your home. We were also looking for a cocktail table the day we went in, but there was nothing that could withstand the daily wear and tear of having items sat on and removed, propping your feet up, etc. In addition to that issue most items seemed on the higher end of the price scale, so if you're shopping on a budget this may not be the place to start. Overall I think At Home is a nice store, and I would go back to look at decorative items for my home; however, I would not recommend this as a spot to shop for furniture or sturdy items for your home. read more

Always worth a visit. I have seen other GR stores that are a little cleaner and neater than this one. I'm not sure how to describe this particular GR. I would describe it as a Hobby Lobby and Big Lots hybrid. It's like those two stores had a child together. As of this writing, there are only two additional reviews from fellow yelpers and I agree with both. This GR is like a maze and is very easy to get turned around in. If you just want to browse... you know... start at one end and finish at the other... it is almost difficult to do that here. While there are clusters of aisles, it doesn't flow well. In regard to the "smell" in this store, I think I have noticed it.... but it did not both me at all. I almost think it's coming from the floral department. Maybe it's the chemicals or dyes used to color the flowers... not sure. When it comes to home decor, this is not my "go to" place. I'd rather go to Target or Kirklands. With that said, don't rule GR out completely. Even if there's no "feng shui", you still might find the exact thing you're looking for. The best thing about this GR is the very large amount of merchandise packed into this place. When you have to use the restroom really bad and someone literally rubs their s*** all over the floor of the public restroom every toilet was used and not flushed but one it was horrible and unsanitary. Very large on the inside! Be sure to read the key map at the front of the store right when u walk in to tell u where everything is. Including the bathrooms. Lots of stuff. You can spend over an hour here (depending on how much u want to spend) might be difficult to find help because the store is so big and often workers seemed assigned to specific tasks they have to get done. Could stand to be cleaner inside. Friendly staff for the most part. This home store is HUGE, which isn't a bad thing. There is lots and LOTS of choices for your home. However it is beyond unorganized, cluttered, claustrophobic, and just plain old messy. I wish I can give this place 5 stars. It truly has so much potential, so much to choose from, if only I could actually find something thats not scratched, damaged, broken, or misplaced. I could walk through these isles for days and days...but it ends up being like a maze. Its so overwhelming. They carry a large variety of products that change with the seasons/holidays. Some prices are great deals. Some items are overpriced. Be careful buying vases from the displays that have fake flowers in them. The large and only visible price tag is for the vase. When you get to the cash register, they will charge you for each flower bundle separately, which can dramatically increase the price. They also rarely have enough employees at the cash registers and I've never seen an employee walking around to answer questions. They do have a large supply of art prints, but again some are deals, others seem overpriced. I did get a great deal on a large pre-lit Christmas tree last year. read more

This store has all you need. The service is awful. I spent 2 hours in this picking out just the right things with my total coming to over 600.00 which is not hard to do. When I got the register the cashier Lana acted she hated her job and was so rude. She needed a price check and that took 20 minutes. I had a coupon they refused and Mel the manager loudly said no we don't except those coupons. It was a at Home coupon. Then Lana cashiers register froze and the manager Mel came over and was so RUDE then said we had to ring all my products up on another register I ask again about my coupon she ( Mgr. Mel) loudly again said no we won't take that coupon here. So my husband said just leave the stuff we will go to the store that just opened by our house. I really didn't want to look for the products again. Then Lana the cashier said "do you want all this stuff before I waste my time ringing it up?" She was slamming my items around like garbage (watch the video) 4/29/2017 around 4:25pm. I was afraid she had damaged my items so I checked the glasses and only purchased them. Lana called mgr Mel over and the attitudes were awful to void the order and Lana was just dumping the stuff in the cart out of the bags. Lana cashier then rang my 3 items up and the look on her face was so angry looking I paid and got out of there. Corporate please take care of this situation, I wouldn't want more customers being treated like this as this seams to be a common practice with these two ladies.
