I have always loved going to this store and ladies have always been nice until yesterday. I dropped off two fascinators for this store to sell. Was in store yesterday and one of my fascinator's was missing flowers. Brought to attention of ladies at checkout and very rude in response stating "well they get tried on and it could've fallen off and swept up". Ok so could these be somewhere in your store? Nope basically thrown away. Do not take your fascinators or hats here to sell as they evidently can't protect your items and attitudes are they don't care!!! Won't patronize this store now for no apology or any kind of empathy or compassion. Took my other fascinator out so that one wouldn't be destroyed. Consignments Plus is a large store of vendor booths offering furniture, home decor, seasonal items, and jewelry. Almost every booth had been displayed neatly and it was easy to browse their things and/or see the displayed prices. Several booths were reasonably priced, which had not been my previous impression and that was a nice surprise. As mentioned in my previous review, the booths also had a similar vibe - very farm house style. While I enjoyed shopping the booths, it began to feel repetitive and I didn't leave with a purchase. Service is at the front desk. Lots of good conversation with customers checking out, but no greeting coming or going. The store was warm - perhaps a broken AC in parts of the building. About midway through the store, I considered leaving because the temperature was unpleasant. This store shares a space with Kroger, restaurants and other stores. Plenty of parking. read more

My "go-to" as an interior designer. I frequently find wonderful, unique pieces for both my clients and myself! The store is large enough to accommodate numerous booths, but small enough to see everything and enjoy the experience. Pricing is, overall, is very fair. read more

I moved to Douglas Hills two years ago. I decided to stop there to find things for my new home and was very happy with all the things I bought. My neighbor told me about this place and it sounded wonderful! I finally had a chance to stop in on a Sunday morning. I probably spent an hour in the store looking at everything. The prices were fair and the selection was massive. There is definitely something for everyone. I fell in love with several items I have no room for. Nice store with some cute items. Some stuff looks like it came from Dollar General and was re marked to a higher price. The staff is not friendly, not even a hello when customers walk in. The owner is even snobby. I doubt I go back for awhile. read more

I visited this store with my daughter, son and my son's girlfriend recently. We spent almost an hour walking through the various vendor's booths. Both my son and his girlfriend, and my daughter found a couple of small items, but for the most part we found most items to be quite overpriced for their value. There was quite a variety of items, with something for almost any taste. The store is laid out beautifully and is well-maintained and clean. Consignments Plus is tucked away behind Brownies at the top of Hurstborne Rd near I-64 in East Louisville. Basically, it is an upscale (albeit smaller) version of Peddlers Mall (where I always get lost and can't find my way out). This place is well organized and the wares are displayed neatly. I miss not meeting vendors and haggling over the price. You can have the shop owners though notify vendors if you want to make a counter offer on items originally priced over 50$. Overall, I found the items a bit pricey and will continue to frequent the Peddlers Mall on Shelbyville Rd as well. I'll leave bread crumbs behind to find my way out and make sure my cell phone is charged. You don't know how many times I've called a family member to come find me at Booth #.... Went this past week to check out the new location. The new store is very clean and bright. A couple different booth owners were in updating their inventory. Both the lady and gentleman working this day were very friendly and polite. Miss the vintage and antique pieces the other store carried so much of. Some of the higher prices were surprising. Consignment Plus has found a new home and it's just delightful! Much smaller than the last location, but more refined too... The smaller space has allowed them to pick and choose some really nice pieces! They still have a bit of everything, from antique jewelry, to handmade bags, to housewares, furniture, and home decor... each stall has it's own sense of self... each more unique than the last! This is truly a unique shopping experience. It always smells great and is so relaxing to walk through with a cup of coffee. The merchandise is well-stocked and nicely displayed so there's no sifting through piles of "stuff" to find a great deal. And if you're looking for a piece of furniture that's not like everything else you see in a typical furniture store, this is the place. I visited this store yesterday. First time at the new location. It is smaller than the previous store and the booths seem to flow more with less boundaries. There was a lot of frou frou. Fancy mirrors and framed prints pillows furniture-a nice selection if you like the decora-ture look. Gold stuff. Like mirrors and frames and accessories. Way fewer vintage and antique items than before. More silk flower arrangements more formal furnishings. Clean and well organized with a friendly staff. That said, I found the store boring. I happened upon this shop by accident and fell in love. It is upscale consignment with furniture pieces that have been upcycled or are in excellent condition. The prices were extremely reasonable as well. The atmosphere was clean, cozy and inviting. I will definitely come back here on a regular basis to search for hidden treasures. read more

My first time in the shop yesterday. They had some interesting things. I spent about 20 minutes in the store. My grade is based not on price/selection but on customer service. I entered from the door by Annie's Attic which is not close to their check out desk. I am pretty sure I was the only customer in the store as I did not cross anyone else's path during my browsing. I made my way to the other side of the store and slowly passed the desk where I saw 2 ladies. Not one word was said. Crickets. Are ya'll taking customer service lessons from Annie's Attic (where I had just experienced the same thing)? There is no doubt in my mind that they saw me but, oh well.... Come on ladies, how hard is it to speak? Engage the customer! If you want small business to succeed, give folks a reason to shop your store. Simple. read more
