I bought a dress here today that likely just became my favorite article of clothing. The prices seemed really reasonable for the type of fabrics and quality.

We stopped in yesterday after lunch and spent close to 45 minutes looking around. The store itself isn't huge but it's bigger than it looks from the outside and there is a great selection of things for sale. They seem to have everything from clothing to jewelry to accessories to matchbooks and even old Playboy magazines. I was very impressed with most of the prices that I saw because honestly they seemed pretty reasonable compared to what I typically see at vintage/thrift stores these days. They were even having a sale on swimsuits! The lady working was also friendly and offered her assistance but also left us alone to peruse which I always appreciate. Ultimately all we purchased yesterday was a mood ring but the kiddo is saving her money for clothes and wants to come back when she's ready to add to her wardrobe so we will definitely be in again. The Neon Flea is a nice addition to the neighborhood!

Everytime I visit, this spot just keeps getting better and better!…read more I visited for the first time in awhile just a couple of weeks ago. And I had found that it once again expanded even more within the giant warehouse it occupies. It is quite easy to get lost in the maze of booths, but you're guaranteed a lot to look at along the way. Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. This is a spot that is becoming uniquely Louisville for me. I love it so!

Spending an hour here (preferably on the weekend with a cocktail) is one of my favorite shopping adventures! Great staff and they know their stuff! If you're looking for something specific, they can probably find it for you! Value is set by vendors - I've found steals on furnitures and clothes, but passed over some crazy high prices as well. All part of the adventure!

I didn't catch the cat's name when I was there, but Vintage Shop Kitty is super friendly and seemed to be receptive to pets. Besides cats, this place also has some really cool clothes -- all of them old, and all of them carefully curated and thoughtfully chosen. I can tell when a vintage clothing store has done its due diligence when I flip through the racks and I want to buy more than a few things. I was THIS close to buying a Western pearl snap shirt, but really: how many pearl snap shirts does a girl need? Regretfully, I put the shirt back on the rack. Hopefully, some other savvy person snapped it up. The Odd Shop has a lot of clothing, but it has just as much vintage toys, records, ephemera and trinkets for sale. Walking into the store is like walking into your (or probably my) childhood, because there are so many things from the 1980s and 90s for sale. So many Smurfs dolls! Mickey Mouse roller skates! Easy-Bake Ovens! It's a blast from the past here.

At first I was confused on the items being for sale versus the store's personal collection but began to notice price tags on many items. It's a small space to share with shoppers and the worker so no issue to be taken care of if you have questions on an item. Many items are in "as is" condition, or maybe better described as well loved. If you're a collector, this might be a spot for you. I found it a bit crowded and overwhelming so a quick glance through was enough. (I would not recommend bringing small kids to this shop) Easy to find street parking. Also, if you love cats, there are two here to greet you.

Turnover of items really just depends. I love this store and I think a lot of people shop here. There are always handfuls of customers in here. The customer service is also fantastic! Much like the cool vibes that is Bardstown, this boutique is right out of my dreams. Pop in for a unique gift for a friend or splurge a little on yourself. Prices points vary starting with options like cards, magnets or small ornament on up with midrange eclectic housewares (such as the asian paint by number floral scene I HAD to have) on up with your favorite new outfit complete with shoes to match. My daughter scored a flattering pair of navy and red pin striped bell bottoms in sale for 50% off. There was a beautiful red beaded necklace that my friend suggested would make a great pair of earrings, so I snagged the last two and plan on converting them. I can't wait for our next visit to Louisville so we can model them together in a photo shoot!
