This is a fun & funky spot. I love that they are dog friendly so my girl can come hang with us. Great outdoor space, too!

I'm not sure why it took us so long to go here, but better late than never!! The drink menu was wonderful and the ambience was top notch! I love that it's a dog friendly bar as well. We can't wait to go back!

This is one of the top places to sit outside and grab a drink in Louisville. The patio has plenty of seating, and you can hang out on couches or the cafe tables scattered across the area. The bartenders are very friendly and work through lines quickly if there's a backup. There's a great variety of cocktails you can choose from. My favorite right now is the Stop, Collaborate and Lemonade, but I've also enjoyed their take on the Dark and Stormy, the Alexander, and the Hunter & Harlow. They do a fantastic deal for happy hour every day, so keep an eye on those specials! There's no kitchen, but a variety of food trucks show up throughout the week. I recently tried one of the semi-regulars, Tommy's Pizza, the other night. On this particular night, they were so busy they ran out of dough, and switched to French bread as the base. I was disappointed at the news, but was happy with my order as soon as I took a bite. It was delicious! Whether you're looking for an afternoon drink, a night out with friends, or a cocktail date, Shopbar answers the call. And if it's not for you, the bar is right on Barret Avenue, within short walking distance of other spots.

This was my first visit to ShopBar with a friend that lives nearby and it couldn't have been better. While they have a patio with heat lamps it was so, so cold. We have it a try but came inside to take a seat at the bar. Fantastic choice because the bartender was wonderful. We had a great time talking with him and loved every drink! I recommend the Effen and Stop Collaborate & Listen. Inside is intimate and definitely cozy, but for the most part we were able to keep some distance from others. A DJ was spinning vinyl and he dipped back to my generation. By the end of the evening we'd gone from head bobbing to chair dancing to out of our chairs. The crowd was fun too. Some playing cards, and several of us watching the TV as winter Olympic Games played. Curling to be exact. By the end of the night we were laughing and cheering for the teams, just a great crowd of strangers having cocktails and appreciating each other. Popular neighborhood spot and looking forward to more opportunities to visit, especially during warmer weather for the patio.

Ok it's been about a year since I came here for the Louisville Bar Bingo and it brought me back again this year. I'd say this visit was much better with no Covid restrictions in place vs. last year. I've also passed this place many times to and from work which it's actually a few blocks away. They are located on Barrett Ave, which means street parking is your option. It was nice to actually go inside this time vs sitting outside last year with heating lamps. There was plenty of bar seating for a Friday night but, the oncoming storms might have had something to do with that. I was able to be waited on promptly by the bartender and requested one of the drinks for the bingo card, all the drinks on the card could be made but had some different ingredients in some of them. I did choose the Blue Drink and forgot to snap a pic. The bartender sure knew her stuff and the drink tasted excellent. I haven't checked out the boutique next door and I need to next visit. Fast friendly service, great tasting drinks, a locally owned boutique next door will bring me back here.

Fun evening on a chilly fall night. Many tower heaters to keep us warm on the patio. Many outdoor covered seating options. High top tables picnic and cozy covered chill booths surrounded by planters for a room effect also few Indoor seating options. We sat outside with a few signature drinks. Well stocked bar with several hard to find bourbons for those who enjoy a finer distilled beverage. Shop bar has a separate adjacent building with unique one of a kinds and a few vintage clothes. Food truck available curbside Good belly was the night's choice. Really good food! Fun atmosphere super friendly and attentive staff! We look forward to returning. Clean gender neutral restrooms Mostly street parking, small rear lot.

ShopBar really came in clutch for Ian and me while we were on a walk the other day. It was a little chilly out and we were ready for a short break. We quickly realized that we hadn't ever been here during the day, only in the evening or nighttime. It was awesome, plenty of places to sit and the outdoor heaters kept things nice and toasty. I ordered the Shop Cider and started my punch card journey! It was absolutely delicious and the perfect drink for a chilly day. We sat near the outdoor fireplace and talked about how much we want to set something like this up in our own backyard. We can dream! In the meantime, we'll come over to ShopBar and hang here :)

What you have to know - this quality neighborhood bar has tons of outdoor and indoor well spaced seating, tasty drinks and apps, and takes covid precautions seriously so that once you're seated you can just relax and enjoy! Notable details for the page readers - this newly opened bar & boutique shop overflows with thoughtful details that make it a charming oasis for patrons to sit and relax and enjoy good company. During these crazy covid times they'll check your temperature as you walk in and masks are necessary, and they have hand sanitizer and social distancing in place. I appreciate that they've got the system down so it's not a huge deal, but still gives you confidence in the operation to keep you (and them!) reasonably safe. The space itself is eclectic and fun, with purpose. Like you went over to your favorite hippie aunt's house who collects fun vintage kitsch and can serve up a stout drink while talking deep universal truths. And finally, the three building system with a HUGE outdoor patio space is unique and works smoothly. Order food separately from FarmToFork on the right (and sometimes a food truck), shop local art and fun finds in the boutique in the middle, or grab a drink at the bar, probably my favorite space of all, on the left. My only regret is we wanted to eat dinner there and the menu was limited - maybe a Thursday thing for now - so we enjoyed our cocktails and split some nachos then went elsewhere for dinner. I've seen pictures of dinner fare from here so I'll try it again. And finally - note to self! - As we were leaving we saw a sign for a brunch option - I am definitely coming back for that! We had been ordering mimosas and quiche combos early this spring before they grand opened and fully enjoyed. I bet that porch and a Bloody Mary or three with some Farm To Fork breakfast options is stellar in person, wouldn't miss it!

What a cool spot. It looks almost like a greenhouse when you walk by and then you realize it is a shop and a bar with a super cute front patio. We had girls brunch yesterday at Big Bad Breakfast (Old Lynn's Paradise Cafe) and afterwards we wanted to keep hanging out so we walk over to Shop Bar. The patio was too inviting to pass up and even though it was a but rainy, there were enough covered spots to still hang out there and have a cocktail. I highly recommend checking it out.

ShopBar is for sure one of the quirkiest bars that I've been to in a while. It's small, but a very cozy and chill place to grab a drink and hang out. I mean, what kind of bar has a separate area just for shopping?? This especially makes for a great place to go when the weather's warm with a big patio outside. But even on the rainy, cold evening that we came in, it was still nice. The little building to shop in is separate, it was locked with a sign saying to let someone know if you wanted to look around to let someone know. It looked like it had a lot of cute little gifts and home decor-type of stuff. They have an attached food truck on the side where you can order things like burgers, nachos, fries.... I tried the loaded fries and they were really good!! If you're into bourbon, they offer flights and different specials. This is a cool bar! I'm sure I'll be back soon.

I heard about this new space from Yelp! It's a fun space that's not very huge. There's outdoor seating which helps a bit. There's a fire to keep warm by. The inside portion has a good handful of tables. When my friends and I got here around 6:15 on Saturday, there were a few people sitting at the bar and a few at the tables. As we sat until 8, it got busy! Looks like lots of people were in the area popping by for a quick drink. Most didn't linger too long. We ordered our drinks at the bar, then got food from the truck outside. They give you a number and will bring the food to you. We shared nachos which were tasty! It had meat, mushrooms, cilantro, cheese, tomatoes. Yum!! I had a ginger beer while my friends got a soda similar to Sprite and a Narraganset lager. Prices didn't seem bad. The inside space is cool though. They've got plants around, grayscale pictures, two gender neutral bathrooms. It's dimly lit, which made the space feel intimate despite how loud it got. Can't wait to hang out here again and check out the shop next door!

We are from out of town and found this place by accident, while looking for bison meat (strange... I know). We decided to stop in and were immediately greeted by Nick at the bar! He was so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. My husband enjoyed talking to him about sports and I was so excited to learn more about their mission and support of mental health services! We had amazing cocktails with housemade purées and fresh garden herbs (picked from their patio). At 3:00, a pop-up food truck was available with Philly quesadillas, Caprese Grilled Cheese and many other delicious items! It was such a neat eclectic place... we had a difficult time leaving!

And I had found that it once again expanded even more within the giant warehouse it occupies. It is quite easy to get lost in the maze of booths, but you're guaranteed a lot to look at along the way. Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. They seem to have everything from clothing to jewelry to accessories to matchbooks and even old Playboy magazines. I was very impressed with most of the prices that I saw because honestly they seemed pretty reasonable compared to what I typically see at vintage/thrift stores these days. They were even having a sale on swimsuits! The lady working was also friendly and offered her assistance but also left us alone to peruse which I always appreciate.
