This was brand new for $19.99 These are the pans you see at chilis when they serve the sizzling fajitas! Then I scored 2 word frames for $1.99 each. Perfect for my beach theme on my entry way table. JOIE ice cream 4 pc spoon sets - for $1.99 Scored $1 items from the bakery section - Bday tags for gifts - gift bag crinkled paper to stuff gift bags. They have a wide variety of everything and they are worth shopping, especially if you're looking for a deal. I've walked through every department in the store a couple of times but most of what I look at is the food, housewares, toys and books. They had a massive deal on some books. the one day I was there and I walked out with a basket full for three dollars. They have a loyalty program which is worth signing up for and you receive messages about sales and deals they have. The employees have all been friendly and helpful, and the stores have been clean.

Purchased some Disney shirts to wear to the parks and we were happy with our purchases without breaking the bank. They also sold Florida souvenirs here. There were many souvenir shops in Kissimmee and the merchandise were starting to look the same as we meandered from one store to another. Even their local WalMart stores had a few aisles dedicated to everything Disney! The store is huge and well stocked. The employee/owner was helpful and friendly. The clothing were nicely hung in their hangers or folded on display shelves and merchandise looked neatly stacked and placed in racks inside the store. They have every souvenir you can think of... mugs, hats, ponchos (for those random Florida thunderstorms), candy, sunglasses, keychains, snow globes, lots of knick knacks, etc. It was fun looking around but we just stuck to the shirts as we already had enough "stuff" at home and didn't need to add to the clutter. The grand opening of the 100 million dollar, 624,000 square-foot mall attracted 3,700 people within the first 30 minutes and 22,000 shoppers celebrated the new mall throughout the day. Throughout the ensuing years the mall has faced challenges like the sinkhole that developed beneath a children's play area and a second hole beneath an area of the Sears store in 1998. In 2009, the economic downturn led to then-owner, General Growth Properties, filling for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It was reportedly the largest real estate bankruptcy in U.S. history at the time. The Sears store closed in late 2016, and JCPenney closed in June 2020, leaving Dillard's as the sole remaining original anchor store. After Covid there were only 40 businesses left in the mall. While the two anchor stores remain vacant, management has managed to increase the number of businesses to over 70. These include Regal 12 Cinema, the Lake Wales Bowl, with Strikes Bar and Grill, and the El Pilón Loko Puerto Rican restaurant adjacent to the food court. There is also a bounce house park play area for $12. While the mall looks like it has been through it I really loved my visit. it felt like a throwback to the 80's.
