Horrible experience - walked in requesting help to get balloons for my 4 year old and walked out humiliated. I saw 2 white families leave before me with atleast a dozen balloons. When I asked for help, there were 2 women at the register (1 with no customers) and they flat out refused to help saying they can't help me right now. It's not that there is no helium or balloons, they just refused to help! Utterly disrespectful and RACIST attitude. read more

Last time I was here, the store had unopened boxes lining the aisles. Store was dirty. Haven't been back for about a year. Pictures don't lie. This place is a hot mess with open drinks on the shelves too, that look like they were purchased in D&D nearby, PLUS open containers of canned drinks that they sell. The store was horrendous. The freehold nj store has a wonderful cashier during week day afternoons . She is always there, willing and helpful during my visits while purchasing numerous product items. She has been working at the freeholdlocation for a long time now and just want to express my appreciation. The store however is very cluttered. read more

This dollar store is a necessity for me for certain items, I just wish it was a little cleaner with less products on the floor. Just like everyone else alive, I love dollar stores and I run to this one often due to its location for gift bags, wrapping paper, cheap paint supplies, you know what's in here... They have the usual dollars store stuff complete with frozen dinners!! Although those are not for me, I wish these stores were around years ago when I was a bachelor! It sure would have beaten Ramen noodles!! Some of my concerns here is the overall cleanliness. The walls and floors could certainly use a good scrub down. Also the store is a bit disorganized. And it's a pretty common occurrence for me to have to step over products on the floor to negotiate the aisles. But this location draws a crowd and the store is usually pretty full with long lines at the cash registers. But recommended as you can find the stuff we've all come to value of these types of stores for. Nice selection of stuff here. read more

This is the second dollar tree store I have gone to. It has many decorations for holidays, knock off cosmetics, office supplies, really bad but fun costume jewelry, and frozen food. They have fun things such as watermelon peeps. It was such a novelty, I had to purchase the bag. I agree with Joe B., you have to sort through things but hey, it's only a dollar. read more

they have the heat on!! I was there a few weeks ago and a customer fainted, and I went back today and the heat is still on!! it's 90F outside. Completely unacceptable and a health risk. The workers can't turn it off, only corporate can, and they're not. Good to know Dollar Tree not only doesn't care about the health and safety of their customers, but their employees as well. read more

It is what it is. It's a dollar store. You know darn well they don't stock high end stuff. But for odds and ends, this place is great. You can grab balloons, a beer glass, snacks, or a coloring book. They also have good deals on holiday decorations and greeting cards. Is it a little dirty? Yeah, yeah it is. Are the checkout lines longer than they should be? Yup. But they have to cut corners somewhere to keep things so cheap, remember, it's a dollar store. I go here especially for the cards because they are like alittle over .50 cents and why go to Walmart or wherever and spend $5 on a card when you can get it at the dollar store. The snack foods here are no name brands but still cheap and might be not bad tasting. All in all, dollar tree is a great place to save money. read more

Dollar stores are a hit or miss scenario. You can find some good buys here especially for holiday decorations. The food section isn't as bad as you would expect in a dollar store. Frozen veggies and various snacks are a pretty good deal. Some items are smaller in quantity than you might find in your supermarket. beauty items and such are cheap, but most likely watered down knockoffs. That said, I have never had a problem with things like shampoo and soaps from here. Other than that, the store can become somewhat messy so you may have to sift through a pile or two but hey, it's only a dollar!!! read more

I'd give Dollar Tree a higher rating overall, but this location only gets 2 stars. Dollar Trees in general have large inventories of merchandise and everything is one dollar. For the most part they give you excellent value for your buck. And although you can't expect to get whatever you need there, you'll always find things to buy. But this particular location is now off my list, simply because it's rather dirty. The floors are badly stained and filthy. Whoever manages this store apparently ignores its appearance. The store is long overdue for an overhaul ... especially the floors. read more
