I'm not one who likes to venture into unknown territory. As SOON as I walked in they had my favorite iced oatmeal cookies. I'm hooked! This store gets overstock or no longer in circulation items. They have a bit of most everything. Food, crafts, toys, housewares. I had fun if you like a good treasure hunt for items you didn't know you needed. Don't assume the prices are cheaper and be sure to check the expiration dates on foods. The cereals are really cheap compared to the stores, Nutrigrain no problem they were fresh. If you are into real flannel 100% cotton bedding they have it. It's a fun store and we will be back. I didn't expect to stay as long as I did. It was crowded but not to the point of frustration. When we went in…read moreto pick it up, the woman at the counter first said something to effect of they didn't sell the piece I was talking about. I showed them the email receipt I had and she told me that there was no receipt at the counter documenting the sale. It was at this moment that I had assumed they sold it to someone else, but nonetheless she looked up my name and was able to find the receipt on their system. We drove around to the back to pick it up and after about 10 minutes of someone looking, he returned with a supervisor. I showed them a picture of the piece and they went back to looking for it. Then, they returned a few minutes later with someone else. They did not have the desk and I had to go back into the front to get them to refund the purchase. The supervisor met me there with the receipt and was telling the cashier that the desk was sold to someone else yesterday, a full 24 hours after I bought it online. Of course they refunded me, but it was just frustrating that over 24 hours later it was sold to someone else. I would not consider purchasing anything online again unless you want to call the store immediately and have them verify that they put the sold sticker on it, as that clearly didn't happen. I wish they had a better online system that prevented this from happening with the few pieces that are listed online.

It was mid November,my Husband and I went to Gabe's hoping to score some nice Christmas gifts. Find we did! Our cart was literally piled full of merchandise we were going to buy. We went to check out and the line went way into the store itself. There were 25-30 people ready to checkout! What a joke! There was ONE CASHIER for all these people. The cashier wasn't in any hurry at all! She was taking her sweet time checking people out. When it was clear we would be in line for at least an hour we just left our cart and left the store! Fast forward a couple months and once again we went to Gabe's for some good deals. NOT a good idea! Once again we went to checkout and we encountered the same damned thing! I don't know if I'll ever shop there again! It's a shame bc I spent a lot of money there!
