Not many places can say they monitor from what the chickens eat to how they're raised and everything in-between being organic as with their gold rated eggs. Even the way they farm is done so the soil is good for future crops. I ended up joining their N-Power membership which has got me some amazing prices and discounts. So I never pay as much as their competitors pricing. Also, I have found safe make up and hygiene products here, as well as some great herbs and supplements I use for cooking, relaxation and energy support. CoQ10 and magnesium have been real game changers for me. I am impressed they have an on-sight nutritional coach who has shown me great ideas and even free classes on certain days. I loved the classes about fermentation and radiant skin. Here I can get free help from a nutritionist and reasonable prices on healthy products. This is pretty much unheard of now days. The nutritionist will even set up shopping appointments to help find what you need for your diet. No more eating poison and feeling bad. We are what we eat. So why not eat the best and be your best?!?

Often this is where the town will hold little events, such as the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in December. There are many short walkways, benches to sit and relax, and plaques/statuary to read. It is well-lit with handsome light poles, there is lots of grass for kids to run around and get their wiggles out (plus a play structure in the back), one section has a roof and many picnic tables for gatherings, and plenty of public restrooms that are serviced regularly. It's an enjoyable place to come to when you need a break from shopping around! This year they did a good job decorating for Christmas with a big tree on the lawn, the traditional German "pyramid," string lights from the awnings and on trees, and some kiddie structures like a wooden train/sleigh/gingerbread house. There was even a small ice skating rink set up toward the back for a fee.

But wait, the plot thickens. Once I got home, I thought my key ring of all the other keys had pulled a disappearing act. Cue panic. I searched high, low, and everywhere in between (read: the depths of my car seats). Meanwhile, the entire Ace squad was on their walkie talkies, mobilizing like a key-finding SWAT team. Not once did anyone make me feel like a bother--no side-eye, no sighs, just pure helpfulness. Turns out, the keys were just playing hide-and-seek in the car. Crisis averted! The store itself? Clean, welcoming, and packed with EVERYTHING. Need a bird feeder? Check. How about a candle that smells like heaven? They've got it. Wind chimes to add a little ~zen~ to your backyard? You bet. This is actually one of their smaller format stores of about 15 to 20,000 ft.². About 70% of the floor space is given over to clothing and they have three dressing rooms. This place has very little in the way of electronics and furniture. I will agree with one yelper that anything of real value is not going to hit the floor, but finds its way onto their online store or "elsewhere". They actually have very nice restrooms that do not require a key. This location is clean and well merchandised. If you're looking for clothes, you'll probably find something, but for anything else, don't be so sure.

With Goodwill, I love the color coded clothes because then I don't buy too much at once. They are so many awesome people there, too, and it's the best part of the Goodwill experience. For example, when my mom passed, I found out that the memory care center at a Nursing and Rehab facility she was at had more patients than they had blankets for. They wanted me to donate a family heirloom that I just couldn't part with. I said no, but I can get several gently used blankets instead of the one blanket. At, Goodwill, I asked if I was allowed to buy all the blankets on display. After explaining briefly why, they came back with several baskets and they loaded the whole lot up. People shopping were watching, and I explained it, some of them contributed to the blankets fund! I know my momma was having a ball watching this! Goodwill and Garage Sales were our favorite past time! I called my husband and told him I was going to take more time and why. He went online and got a list of the closest thrift stores. I got what I could find but Goodwill was by far the treasure trove I was seeking. So,in total, an anonymous gift of nearly 150 blankets went to several nursing facilities with and without memory care. Kerrville and Goodwill went the distance for me and for our seniors! Recently, I happened to find my ring and the box with the company's original info in it. I called them and they sent me free postage so that I could send my ring to them. They are in the process of shaping it back...free of charge...after 32 years!! This company is still standing behind its great quality and customer service!

It's not very large, but you can get a nice idea of how jewelry was made, the forms, the designs, and the process as well. You can watch a few videos and sit in his old art desk, too. The other side has a lot of jewelry, which seems well-priced for what it is. I didn't get anything, but it's also nice to window shop sometimes. Parking is in a smaller lot, so it can fill up.
