The customer being served had a large number of items, and the associate was experiencing considerable difficulty scanning several of them, which caused the line to move exceptionally slowly. The associate eventually called for assistance with her scanning problems, and a female colleague came to the front to help resolve the immediate technical issue. However, despite witnessing the accumulating line and the ongoing delays, this second associate did not open another register to alleviate the backlog. Instead, she left the first associate to manage the busy checkout alone. Shortly thereafter, the first associate encountered another scanning issue with the same customer, prompting her to summon the second associate for help once more. This time, the second associate did remain at the front and subsequently opened a second register to serve customers. While she was scanning items for another customer, that customer politely inquired if an item had been scanned twice, simply seeking clarification to ensure accuracy and avoid a duplicate charge. To my dismay, the employee reacted with visible offense and responded to the customer in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Observing this interaction, I felt compelled to interject, pointing out that the customer's question was entirely legitimate and there was no justification for such rudeness on the employee's part. The employee then directed her aggression towards me, stating that I was only upset because I had been waiting in line for a long time. While acknowledging that the wait had indeed been extensive, I emphasized that it did not excuse her lack of professional customer service. Her response was to threaten me, stating that if I continued to speak, I would not be served and should immediately leave the store. I reiterated that her behavior was completely unacceptable for a customer service representative. At this point, she explicitly asked me to leave the store. I informed her that I would be filing a formal complaint regarding this interaction. In response, she refused to provide her name when I asked for it and further escalated the situation by threatening to call the police if I did not immediately vacate the premises. Throughout this entire ordeal, this employee exhibited a complete disregard for acceptable customer service standards. Her demeanor was consistently rude, disrespectful, and utterly unprofessional.

RE: Dollar General Store # 19090 - 5209 Memorial Drive. Stone Mountain, GA 30083-3112…read more I was racially profiled by a Black male, of all people. He made certain that he has at my every turn. This is actually the second time I've been in this store and racially profiled by the same person. I overlooked the first incident but when it happened the second time, I feel compelled to share my experience. On both my trips to this store, I made a purchase and was faced with the reality of racial profiling that is part of the Black life experience. I briefly engaged in conversation with this employee, regarding the lack of paper products, hand sanitizer, and their shelves being practically empty. Even then, he continued to monitor my every move up to and including my standing in the checkout line, where he had followed me from a distance. After seeing that I was standing in the checkout line, he retreated to the back of the store. After I paid for my merchandise, I asked the cashier, to ask her co-worker, the one following me, to come back to the front. I believe she called him Rayshon, or a similar name. As he got closer, I held up my receipt and brought to his attention, my awareness, of how he was "following" me in the store. He acted as if he didn't know what I was talking about, but more than anything I'm sure he was surprised that I called him out on his BS in front of other shoppers. This is how you have to handle racial profiling; you MUST call them out on their BS. This man is of a dark complexion and has a braided beard. He reminded me of the so-called "Good Negro" back in slavery days that reported the activity of the field Negros to the Massa. He's a damn embarrassment to the Black race. It's Negros like this that make it more common practice and acceptable for White folks to treat us in the same manner. What he needs to realize is that while he's racially profiling the folks who have the same melanin as he does, that there's a White person, somewhere, watching him too. Stupid Ass. I feel embarrassed, for him. Hopefully, sooner than later, the light will come on in his head, that his White overseer doesn't give a damn about him, or any Black person who walks through their doors. Being of Negro descent, especially a Black male, there is no doubt, that everywhere he goes, he is under heavy surveillance and it will be multiplied upon him a thousand times over because of the way he treats his own race. Karma is a BEAST; you get back triple whatever you put out. Hopefully, he won't be the next Black man accused of something he didn't do with it resulting in his total demise.
