I still contend that this is the best dollar joint. All items $1. They feature weekly specials, gifts for grads and a wide selection of seasonal stuff. We stop here for our holiday gear. Maybe your having a party and need cheap decorations. The list is endless. The store isn't the cleanest and the bathroom is a definite no. But the people are always great and the price is, well, a buck. They're a tad hard to find. Tucked in the SW corner of the big shopping gala called Clear Creek plaza on Topsy lane.

Service was horrible. Cashier was rude. Store is nice, but would not go back there

The manager and employees here are always friendly and helpful. Much better thanI would expect from a "dollar store".

Everything is $1.25. I found lg. cans of cat food which was nice. They have things you wouldn't find in your supermarket.

Okay, I keep saying I am NOT a customer any more, but here I am again…read more.. Quality/Quantity - One of the larger Dollar Trees. I actually thought this was a new location?!?! But maybe they just have new signage, see picture. Easy in and out. I got my one item that was fully in stock. Then I rushed out to do my other chores. Atmosphere - Again, one of the larger location. Well stocked. Good selection. Plenty of parking, but a weird layout; sorry, I should have taken a few pictures of the parking lot. Open 7 days a week from Mondays to Saturday from 8am to 9pm. And on Sundays from 9am to 8pm. Service - Friendly, but ONLY one register was open for ALL the customers. There were at least 5 people in line in front of me. Not sure how many were behind me. Price - $1.25+; but I only come here for the $1.25 items. Also not a $1 any more. Not predictable any more. And not well marked... At least they are installing scanners now, see picture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1953 with 15,288+ locations (8000 of which are Dollar Trees). I did not know that Family Dollar "merged" with you in 2021. Also most cashiers are not friendly..like they are mistreated is all I can figure. I was there Friday morning 11/15/2024 and sales associate Julie according to receipt really unfriendly. I wont be going back. I feel very unwelcome at this store.

It's incredibly strange I lost my charging cable when I had locked it inside my Pacsafe hip bag while flying . . . Hmmmm~ Weird. Anyway, I bought an upgraded, ten-foot, lightning, charging cable. The charging cable is more heavy-duty, thicker; it's black, wrapped with the same material as an industrial, extension cord verses the charging cable I lost was wrapped in some sort of corded, cotton cloth, flimsy material. Moreover, I can never find a ten-foot lightning charging cable in Placerville, Sacramento, Roseville, Rancho Cordova or any of the Bay Area Big Lots Stores: Oddly, this Big Lots Store has a plethora of items I have YET seen in other Big Lots Stores' inventory.

I'm clearly in the minority at this Big Lots. I don't understand all the one star reviews. I've…read morealways had success with this store. Most anything you can think of retail is tucked away in one of the aisles. The prices are pretty good and the folks are all super nice. Very professional. That's all you can expect. The rest is gravy. This is where we get our phone chargers, shampoos, paper goods and spaghettios for the grand kids. They have furniture, bedding (including the mattress and box) and plenty of seasonal stuff. Today I found one of those sugar dispensers that you find in restaurants. Only $3. I've already used it twice. We're headed east for some R&R. I stop here and load up on big bags of candy to drop on unsuspecting grandchildren. 1/20
