Nice place to get a few things. The cashiers are always humble and friendly and the lines aren't long.

Okay, I keep saying I am NOT a customer any more (Dollar Tree), but here I am again…read more.. Quality/Quantity - Decent size location. Dollar Tree replaced the 99 cent store that used to be here. Easy in and out. I got my one item that was fully in stock. Atmosphere - Well stocked. Good selection. Plenty of parking. Open 7 days a week from Mondays to Saturday from 8am to 10pm. And on Sundays from 9am to 9pm. Service - Excellent. The one item was on the very, I mean VERY top peg. I asked the employee to borrow his step stool, but then he came and just got it down for me. And he brought a few extra down for future customers. Good thinking. Price - $1.25+; but I only come here for the $1.25 items. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1953 with 15,288+ locations (8000 of which are Dollar Trees). I did not know that Family Dollar "merged" with you in 2021. I see you are starting to create combo Family Dollar and Dollar Tree locations (1200 locations). 1953 Ben Franklin Store. 1970 K&K Toys. 1986 Only $1 Stores. 1989 Dollar Tree. 1995 IPO. 2010 Entered the Canadian Market via acquisition. 2021 Raised prices from $1 to $1.25. 2024 Acquired 99 cent stores; hence this location's transition.

Called earlier in the morning to inquire about the purchase of a fishing license. I was told yes,…read morebut the gun counter did not open until 9 a.m. I showed up at 11:30, and was told that they hadn't been able to sell them for over a year. Something to do with their computer crashing? I always try to support Cal Ranch as a local business, but at $5.00 a gallon trump gas, this was a wasted trip. On the plus side, always very friendly staff.

Was visiting friends that live in Carson City and we did a stop to get dog food here. I had no idea…read morewhat the store was about, but I absolutely love the idea that they have not only men's and women's apparel and accessories, but they also have livestock supplies and even little snacks to enjoy, lol! It's absolutely what I'd call a one stop shop but I did notice that a lot of their smaller sizes, at least within the women's items, were not in stock. Mind you I did go right after Christmas so possibly that's the reason but I did end up getting a phenomenal cow print faux fur jacket that stretches from shoulders to toes and my friend also got one too. It was listed at a fantastic sale price and there was no question once I found out it was discounted that we both HAD to have it-- and now that it's home with me, I absolutely don't regret it and cannot wait to wear it! While there, I was also looking at a really great distressed cowboy hat, but my friend decided she had to have it as well so as there was only one left, it was absolutely going to be for her!! :)

7/7/2021: DOH! Guess what faux-pas I committed? I lost my ten-foot, iPhone, fast, lightning…read morecharging cable via the last leg of my flight, Hawaiian Airlines from Honolulu while flying to Sacramento Airport! RATS!!!! It's incredibly strange I lost my charging cable when I had locked it inside my Pacsafe hip bag while flying . . . Hmmmm~ Weird. Anyway, I bought an upgraded, ten-foot, lightning, charging cable. The charging cable is more heavy-duty, thicker; it's black, wrapped with the same material as an industrial, extension cord verses the charging cable I lost was wrapped in some sort of corded, cotton cloth, flimsy material. Moreover, I can never find a ten-foot lightning charging cable in Placerville, Sacramento, Roseville, Rancho Cordova or any of the Bay Area Big Lots Stores: Oddly, this Big Lots Store has a plethora of items I have YET seen in other Big Lots Stores' inventory.

I'm clearly in the minority at this Big Lots. I don't understand all the one star reviews. I've…read morealways had success with this store. Most anything you can think of retail is tucked away in one of the aisles. The prices are pretty good and the folks are all super nice. Very professional. That's all you can expect. The rest is gravy. This is where we get our phone chargers, shampoos, paper goods and spaghettios for the grand kids. They have furniture, bedding (including the mattress and box) and plenty of seasonal stuff. Today I found one of those sugar dispensers that you find in restaurants. Only $3. I've already used it twice. We're headed east for some R&R. I stop here and load up on big bags of candy to drop on unsuspecting grandchildren. 1/20

Store was fully stocked, and staffed with many helpful people. I was looking for something slightly special (gum agar) and thought Sprouts might have it. I was strolling the store and several workers asked if I needed help. I said I was looking for something, if I couldn't find it I'd come ask...and eventually that's what I did. The woman who helped me was efficient and interested in what I was looking for...and she found it! I'm so glad I didn't have to go to additional stores OR resort to Amazon. The woman at checkout was cherry and engaging...I detest self checkout because having nice little encounters is what makes the difference in the day. So don't forget Sprouts is now in CC. Wide variety of items, nice "do-able" size store. Everything from food ready to eat all the way to esoteric ingredients! (I needed the agar to make balsamic pearls!)
