With only 2 cashiers and 15 customers in line, even the checkout was horrific. Won't be returning!

The lady in front of me came to my defense and said she was wrong. The customer became belligerent and it was quite embarrassing when all we wanted to do was checkout and go about our day. The cashier was clearly uncomfortable yet no one from the store's staff felt like they should step in. She should have been asked to leave or at the very least, go to another register. Other locations seem to have better security.

First time there. The lady at the door explained the whole process. Stroller drop off is at the…read moredoor. Kids are welcome but I'm guessing they don't want to risk people stealing and putting bags under stroller's so you have to drop them off at the stroller station just inside the door. The store is lined with about 5 rows of 12 bins and each bin is filled with returned pallet items from stores like Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc. Items may be bagged or boxed and you are asked to not open anything out in the bin area. When finished shopping you take your items to the unboxing area where staff will open them for you to take a good look through. If you don't want the items you simply leave them there. They get brand new shipments every Wednesday afternoon. Everything left in the store at closing on Wednesday (12 Noon) is removed from the store and donated. New shipment comes in and is stocked into bins. The store is closed Thursday and Friday to accommodate this. The store opens again on Saturday with freshly stocked new bins items. As of today, every bag/box is $7 on Saturday, $5 on Sunday, $3 on Monday, $1 on Tuesday and on Wednesday you can fill a huge bag with everything you can for only $10. It's a pretty cool concept and you could really score big.

I receive a phone call from one of my friends around 12:30pm asking if I wanted to meet for lunch…read morebecause they had an appointment in the Friendly Center. I had no plans, so why not! We agreed on 2ish. Well, I arrived around 2:10pm at the restaurant when I get a text saying it would be closer to 3... I was so sad because I was really hungry. My friends tells me to go check out Kirklands, that's how I got here! I procrastinated a bit but it was around 2:20pm on Tuesday afternoon when I visited Kirklands for the first time. When I walked in, Fall time aroma was evident. If I had to guess, I would say the aroma reminded me of pumpkin and/or cinnamon. While looking around, I noticed ample Fall and Halloween decor. The store was running a 25% sale off for Labor Day. I saw some cute mini monogram pumpkins that were $4.19, but of course, they didn't hav a Z for Zay :( Other decor items included pillows, pictures, lamps, pumpkins, furniture, towels, etc. There were two tables with candles. I LOVE candles! The sale price was $8.99. I ended up getting two. One was "Teach, Encourage, Inspire" which was lemon, apple, pear as Summer is wrapping up and the other was "Cafe Macchiato" for the Fall time me or anytime lol. I didn't like many of the offering for seasonal aromas. I'm sure many others would enjoy it. The cashier present was Nancy. She was really friendly and helpful. When I walked in, she helped others but asked me if I needed help with anything and told me about the current sale when she was done. She did the same thing for each customer that came in after me. While checking out, the card machine had some issues and wouldn't accept my card. Around about 3 tries it worked. Nancy stated that "they" we're moving the line underground and wires may have gotten hit. I assume she had been having prior to me because after the first time, she said it wasn't my card. Nonetheless, no biggie. I saw many things that I would buy but nothing I needed. Some things were a big pricey for me too. I typically don't decorate for each season/holiday except Christmas. After my items were paid for, I left to fill my tummy with tacos and a jumbo margarita :)

The lady who was there greeted me at first but basically stayed on her phone. Some of the items were definitely worth the money, however most was overpriced. Someone came in while I was checking out and she started talking to them and completely ignored my questions. I'll go somewhere else from now on.
