I'm usually on the hunt for perfumes, Sand + Fog fragrance oils, body butters, and goodies for my Yorkies, and I can always count on finding something I didn't know I needed! The store is consistently clean, well organized, and the checkout lines move quickly, which I really appreciate. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I also want to give a special thank you to Brandon, the store manager. During one of my visits, a candle unexpectedly broke near me, and he immediately came over with kindness and reassurance, making what could have been an embarrassing moment feel like no big deal. That level of professionalism and genuine customer service really stood out to me. Great customer service is one of the reasons I continue coming back. Keep up the great work!

Ladies are on top of their game when we push the buttons for help, that's for those locked items on the floor. The bag area has one, makeup counter, jewelry counter and throughout the store they have those giant clear boxes with colognes and Polaroids and other goodies! I'm glad they are locking items up, some people have gotten crafty at stealing or taking from the set items, you have to inspect to make sure everything is there. They have a great return policy, keep your receipts! And try to make it in within 30days. I also appreciate the customer service, the staff is there to help us , so don't take advantage of them, and if you're having a bad day , it costs nothing to be nice to another individual, nowadays people are so entitled it's sickening. Specially around the holidays , imagine how a crowd makes you feel, well they are already overwhelmed and still smile. I appreciate that and I always compliment them. You can still find great finds in the store , just have to look for sure! I found an amazing Karl Lagerfeld bag that retails for $300 and it was $99! Beautiful find! A little retail therapy makes it all better specially with a find like this.

The quality of the items is why I'm not a huge fan. I swear, 99% of the things the kids buy end up breaking within a week, sometimes even on the ride home. Then, some items seem overpriced at $5. This tiny piece of plastic cost $5? Ugh.

I'm not…read moresure how often this branch gets their shipment but the three times I've been to this location at various times within a month, they did not restock their collectible flat mini boxes. In fact, the last time I went there, I was able to find one, but it was damaged; cracked glass specifically. I'm surprised staff did not take it away from the shelves. Overall though, you can still find a bunch of cute household items, decorative picks, and a good selection of snacks. However with the new Teso Life opening nearby, I suggest going there for snacks instead.

I was at the Dollar General at Matlock and Green Oaks on Friday, early afternoon. I had finished my…read moreshopping, loaded my car and went to leave. However, my car wouldn't start. I went inside and came upon your employee Brian. I explained what was going on and asked if he had jumper cables. He immediately came outside, pulled his car up by mine, and got to work. He tried and tried to get my car to start, spending at least a good 45 minutes in the direct sun and 100 degree heat trying to help me. (The store was not busy at this time so he was not neglecting his duties, and he told me he was about to be off work when I asked for help. I would also like to note that he is in his 60's and a part time employee there.) He chatted with me as he worked on getting my car to start and kept my mood uplifted. When we realized it wasn't going to work, he stayed until I was able to reach a friend of mine to come pick me up, and told me to go wait inside and get out of the heat. I'm writing this because Brian did not have to help me, he did not have to spend so much of his time trying to get my car started, and he didn't have to be so kind. Brian is an valuable person for your company. His kindness and helpfulness you don't find often anymore and I believe it should be recognized.

In summary, iI approached the register to pay for an item my 5 year grand daughter wanted. The counter top way wet and smeared with a dirty grimy film. I waited for the cashier to clean the counter and then referenced its uncleanliness. She responded that it was just wet from a milk jug a previous customer drug across the counter. I referenced again health care concerns. By then my grand daughter had rested head on her forearms on the dirty counter. She said arrogantly, I have a daughter and wouldn't subject her to COVID. The only reason I went on and bought the item for my grand daughter was to avoid disappointing her. But note, Today That black/blonde hair cashier (of Hispanic origin possibly) POORLY misrepresented Dollar General Mission Statement. Her attitude was unprofessional and her health care/sanitation practices was disgustingly substandard. She said she would wipe down the counter after she waited on the line of customers waiting to check out. disgusting. Go figure?

Everything you need from Kitchen, Garden, Living Room, Offices Bedrooms, and Bath's... They have a section of gourmet foods, things and cute things for pets, dog beds and bowls etc. They have AWESOME furniture pieces and end tables, beautiful desk chairs and mirrors. I can go on and on about all the one of a kind items they have and most likely if you don't pick up the items you look at when you see them, they wont have them when you return and you miss you. (all of us have done this before and it sucks, am I right?) If you are looking for pieces for you desk space, they have stationary and journals, sometimes planners.
