Wow! I would've never came across this dollar tree if it wasn't near a Yelp event I attended. The manager on duty was friendly and this is my first time visiting a dollar tree location with a self-checkout. The organization and well stocked items made my experience/selection of items fast and easy. Self-checkout needs to be added to all dollar tree locations in my opinion. Plus most cashiers at the E. Berry location in Fort Worth don't ring up items properly. Literally adding items twice. I don't go to dollar tree often, but when I'm in Arlington this location will be my primary one. read more

Cashier greeted everyone else except me. Ignored me when I walked up to the register despite me greeting her in a friendly manner. She told me to find the barcodes and hold the items for her to scan. Then when my card went through completely ignored me and didn't say a word when the transaction was done. Don't work in customer service if you're miserable and pick and choose who you're nice to depending on what the customer looks like. read more

Other than Dollar Tree being disheveled and sometimes disorganized, it is a great spot to pick up the cheap stuff you need, like gift-wrapping, gift bags, and all related gift "stuff." In addition, they have a lot of office supplies, like tape, paper, etc., and even some food stuffs as well. Oh, and, speaking of gifts, this place has a lot last-minute gifts for dirt cheap, and I mean dirt cheap, like a buck. That's because everything in the store is a buck, not like other stores that are only "generally" a buck. For example, we found an awesome minions mug, but as the place was so disheveled, we could only find one. Customer service is also great here. Everyone always seems to have a smile and is willing to help, even opening up a register when a line starts to form. The Walmarts, Targets, and CVSs of the world could learn something from that because Dollar Tree does not make it hard for me to give them money. However, that doesn't mean they're always perfect, but they usually try. All in all, I recommend Dollar Tree. read more

This is the cleanest, most well organized, most well stocked Dollar Tree I've ever been to, and every worker I've ever interacted with is so kind. I came here for a couple of cheap picture frames. I found them! With a side of attitude! There was one lady checking out and the line was down the isle, halfway through the store. There was another lady doing something with balloons. She wasn't assisting someone with balloons, she was either blowing some up or attaching strings or something. I couldn't see her as there were like 15 people ahead of me. Finally, a woman asked her if she could open another checkout counter. She ignored her a few minutes until people in line were increasing their grumbling. Finally she opens up a register, and about five people, plus myself, moved to her lane. She did check us out. But audibly complained about pushy customers while she did so. The woman was not rude and thanked her for opening up, yet she was extremely rude. I won't be back. I only gave it two stars because the other woman working a register seemed to be doing so slowly, yet politely. That shouldn't be too much to ask. read more

I still can't get over the fact that every thing here costs $1. I know "dollar" is in the name and that dollar stores are all around, but seriously, it still blows my mind. I can find sooooo many necessary things here for cheap; things it's totally okay to pay a dollar for because you don't NEED super-high quality. Like.... Gift wraps, tissue paper, and gift bags! I know Pier 1 has those fancy, glittery, vibrant bags for like $6 and up, but that's so expensive for something you're transporting a gift in! Even Walgreens and Hobby Lobby gift bags seem to be around $3-$4. But at the Dollar Tree, my friends, every gift bag - no matter it's size - is $1. I bought so many bags here the other day for Christmas, and no they're not thin little plain, ugly bags. They had some great options and a few even had glitter! Lots of wrapping paper here as well, especially during the holidays. Cute prints like snowmen, brightly colored trees, reindeer, Santa, and my favorite - little Christmas birds in swirly trees. There isn't as big of a selection here, if course, but that's made up for by how much you save. I probably bought 12 rolls (I'm being quite giving this year!!) I also walked out of this sweet store with a ton of tape (the good kind that's totally clear), tissue paper, and a few awesome decorations. I got a pair of gold, sparkly Christmas trees (about 8 inches tall) that look just like something you could find at World Market or Pier 1. The dollar store is also great for cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper, cotton balls, plastic forks/plates/cups, cards, candy bars, other non-perishable foodstuff, stocking stuffers, and all sorts of little trinkets. This location in particular is very clean and comfortable. The staff I've interacted with so far have been friendly, efficient, and talkative, and you get in and out of here fast! read more

This is one of the cleanest best organized stores I've been too the the Mansfield/ Arlington area. I frequently find myself in Dollar Trees for work and had to come here because one of the other stores I normally go too, was low on stock of what I needed. I came here to fill the remaining numbers and the staff kindly went to the back to pull the items. As I was there though, I noticed that it was much neater and nothing was stacked up in isles for display getting in the way of moving through the store. The shelves were neat and organized. This Dollar Tree is clean, well-lit, and seemingly stocks one of everything. So far so good, right? I was looking for a lint brush to remove dog hair from my clothes, and figured I'd try dollar stores. The good: They definitely had them. It was easy to find lint brushes and lint rollers both. Check-out was fast and smooth, and my brush was actually a dollar (and tax). The bad: The first time I tried to actually use my new lint brush, it left little red sparkles all over my clothes. That's... kind of cool, I guess, but not what I intended? So I'm zero-for-one with Dollar Tree. I get that you have to check your expectations with products this cheap, but I really did want to get one full use out of it. Just one. Other Yelpers seem to have had better luck. This Dollar Tree is in better shape than many I've been to, and the selection is wider in every department. This particular review will be about gardening supplies. This $ Tree has an awesome selection of gardening supplies! During my last trip here I left with two pairs of gardening gloves and a sturdy trowel (complete with ergonomic handle) with ruled sides (so I can measure the depth of holes I dig). In addition to these goodies, you'll find small (probably 8 inches) plastic containers, small bags of potting soil, tiny clay pots, wire garden decorations, tiny planters,, small bronze metal tubs, small watering cans, and a few small gray hanging planters. read more

When this Dollar Tree first opened it was a great shop to get some frilly knick-knacks and hair accessories, impulse toys, and other things you probably don't need. But over a few years the place has gone down the drain. I visited this Dollar Tree about one week ago and the place was messy and disorganized with only one cashier working. There was no music playing and some of the items seemed to be low stocked. It was a sad sight. Everything here really is only $1. That said, some things are low-quality so be careful what you purchase. There is food, snacks, dog toys, car cleaning supplies--pretty much anything you could think of. I hope this Dollar Tree comes back to life real soon. Hire more cashiers and put some country music on! read more

I will not be returning to this location- I have shopped this store for many years, and never had an issue until 11/3/18. While waiting in line, a long line patiently, for just a few items it was finally my turn to place my merchandise on the check out stand. After doing so, I picked up the divider bar that separates everyone's items, so the customer behind me could place her items behind mine. As soon as I did that, the cashier Peni, picked up my items and threw them all the way to end of the check out stand almost falling off, needless to say I was mind blown. She started telling me how frustrating it was for her and that her divider bar said "Do Not Remove".. I told her I could not believe I just witnessed her act this way and I was so glad it was not glass I was purchasing or it would have been broken. Peni is an older lady, not a child, this is the way I would expect a young teenager to act when they are frustrated, not someone in there 60's. I was extremely tempted to not buy what I stood in a long line for, but I needed these items. After leaving the store, I called the manager from my car, I began to explain what had happened, and I told him I was surprised he did not here all the commotion as it was so close to his office- which I had just seem him walk into minutes prior this incident. He began to ask me if the belt on the check out stand was moving when she did that? I told him no! He explained to me that the divider bar, that I had picked up kept items from over flowing the scanner..?? I am sorry, but there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior, and how am I supposed to know? I simply told him I will not be returning, as well I reminded him that it is so close to the holiday season, when people are happy and her attitude and behavior was going to be more of an issue if this is acceptable and not addressed appropriately. read more

Love this location!!! I went in there a few days ago for the first time in about 3 years and while it was a tad bit messy and unorganized I was able to look past that seeing as it's the holidays and it's getting closer to Christmas so that's expected. They have a much wider variety of inventory than the Mansfield or little road location. I'll definitely be back!!! read more

Been coming to this Dollar Tree for years, for a while now the A/C doesn't seem to be working properly. The store employees all seem nice and helpful, however, there is usually one person at the registers but you will see the manager not helping out when the lines get long. The manager, I do believe her name is Lindsey, has a bad attitude. I have witnessed her being extremely rude to the employees in front of customers a couple of times. Corporate might want to investigate her, she is going to run off employee after employee with that nasty attitude of hers not to mention customers may choose to shop at another store because of the A/C problems which isn't fair to the employees or the shoppers that come to this location. read more

I love that it is close to be but I will drive to the next one because management here is horroable NO customer service at all! In August seemed like it was a huge problem to get balloons..... waited for 45 mins I kid you not, we had already paid just waiting for the balloons! The lady at the register was the only one on the floor! Management couldn't come out and help AT ALL! Really disappointed since I have been going here for 2 years. I go when I really have too but I will drive to the one off cooper and 20 because they are super friendly and always helpful! read more
