2/28/26 Went in to get spice rack shelf (none) came out with pork rinds for my mung bean soup lol. Needed to organize my spices & a shelf would absolutely be the finishing touch. Couldn't find it. Grabbed some clothespins a strainer & whisk. While in line, saw the cashier eating some cracklings & reminded me to get some for the mung bean soup. Had to return & get a few bags. One & done. This happens to be the closest location to our place so it fit the bill. It's nothing special but it's just like most Dollar tree stores. It looks organized, fairly. parking is shared with other businesses in this plaza. The cashier was nice & conversant. Will most likely return & further peruse the aisles. The Store was not clean. Roll of red stickers was on the floor in an isle of merchandise that was not organized...I thought the store had been vandalized there was so much disarray...then the staff members were setting up a new sock isle, asking me to "move out the way to take a picture". I put the sock pack back where I found it. There was much loud discussion between staff about displays with bad four letter words. Fortunately I did not see any children in the store at the time. I went to the front of the store and knocked on the manager's door, a man answered that had been using bad four letter words himself. I have NEVER in my life had to write such a review. read more

Cashier a young girl 1/26/26 (4:20pm) did NOT even count my change back to me after I gave her a $100 bill. As a cashier, SHE should always count the change back to any/all customer(s). I've been to this location a few times throughout the years and I've had pleasant experiences each time. This store is also fairly clean and pretty well stocked. I'll usually come to Dollar Tree for a few essentials namely: greeting cards (some are 2 for $1.25.. a steal!), party and holiday/seasonal supplies, Arizona Peach tea (LOL I'm a sucker for this and they always have this in stock), crest whitening toothpaste. They also have lots of school supplies, hair products, and art supplies. I've gotten the boxes of branded whipped cream from their freezer section and that was a steal for the price as well! Customer Service: Sometimes the store will get stuffy. I find that if you are nice to the employees or just simply ask them how their day is, they usually show a little bit more kindness back (duh moment but still, just a reminder to be nice to the employees!). Parking: Never had any trouble. The store is located in a plaza that is connected with Planet Fitness, Starbucks, Onos, etc. I'll be coming back! :) read more

Surprised that I have not written a review on this location yet??? Quality/Quantity - Good in-stock location, but too bad they did not have what I wanted. That is the thing with dollar stores, if they have it in stock, buy it, because it may not be here next time! Atmosphere - One of their better stocked location, but again, they did not have what I wanted or needed. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm, and on Sundays from 9am to 9pm. Rather disorganized shelves; there seemed to be more visitors in the aisle, likely not because they're more welcoming, just harder to find items, with things stacked on top of each other or misplaced. Lingering longer only wasted more time. Their sister store on Atlantic Blvd is more clean-cut and bright; I found my item immediately, without a hitch. read more

I love every dollar tree store after finding out about the many organizational hacks and DIY from YouTube (DIY Xmas ornaments with cheap socks, fake snow globe ornaments, etc). What's not to love about $1.25 per item? They have these little baskets that I can easily organize all my drawers with, their removable sticker labels I can put on my mason jars, and command hooks I was able to hang up my kids ukuleles and lunchboxes on walls and make more use of space (Thanks But Coffee First YouTube channel) I also like their crème Bulee ground coffee and 3 pack of gift bags. read more

This morning, this location was fantastic. It was so nice, there was no stock all over the floor. There were no crazy kids running around, we still had the autumn items and some Christmas items. I'm not sure if all Dollar Trees are like this location, but I was loving this place! The selections here are definitely much more of a variety compared to other DTs; I also love the fact that there were more educator items and even kawaii supplies! I'm talking about Sanrio and other cute characters on composition notebooks, pencil cases, pencils, pens, stickers, and folders that I haven't seen anywhere else! This place is organized and locating items is pretty easy. The cashiers are quick to check you out, too. I love the Dollar Tree!!! Everything is literally one dollar! There is no hidden plus at the end that some dollar stores have. Hallelujah to the Dollar Tree for keeping it real. I come to this Dollar Tree all the time. So much, in fact, that I should just get a job here or just live here. This Dollar Tree is conveniently located on my way home. They may not have what I need sometimes, but I do not go home empty handed. Plus, they have the cutest holiday items. Once, they come out with them I make sure that I buy it. The least favorite thing about the Dollar Tree is that once it is out of an item you don't know if it will be restocked. If you see something that you like then buy it! Overall, I have never had a bad a experience shopping at this particular Dollar Tree. The staff is always friendly and willing to help find something. Also, they keep the store looking fresh! There are 2 sides to this coin. I usually love this place because it is well stocked and usually enough staff to keep the lines moving along. But The Toy aisle has been closed for more than a week! The TOY Aisle! The one where your kid gets to pick out 1 or 2 or 3 toys that cost a dollar. The aisle that keeps your kid from throwing a tantrum in the store. The aisle that gives you negotiating power to get your kid in the car going to the store. Of all the aisles to store random boxes in, it's not the toy aisle. Who's managing this place? Even I know where to find empty space in the store to put boxes for a week and I don't work there. Try by the front windows where there is almost no product to buy. It's funny how the majority of the time I go into some discounted store whether it's Dollar Tree, 99 Cents, Bargain Store, etc., the employees who works there are grumpy most of the time. There is no difference for this place. I walk in, nobody acknowledges you, you buy what you need and leave. I went in there today to buy some cheap inexpensive batteries. I don't even know the manufacturer who branded the batteries. I just wonder how long it will last before it's time for another one. It's not a big deal for me when I walk in whether I get greeted or not. I just find it amusing because it seems like the bigger the bargain is, the more disgruntle the employees are. Anyhow, this particular store is well stocked with merchandise. You could find snacks, water, greeting cards, household cleaners, candy, and a lot of other general merchandises a consumer may need at home. I like coming here since this store just to buy last minute greeting cards, batteries, or whatever I may need at the spur of the moment. This past Saturday 7/21, i made a pit stop for sunflower seeds, paid, put them in my bag and left. While at the store, it took me so long to find them as I did not find the product where it is often located at other branches. Typically I inspect items before purchasing but Sunday I discovered the bag of sunflower seeds was expired by more than 1 month and 1/2, June, 4th, 2018 to be exact!!! I thought about going back to exchange this but $1 is not worth the trouble of going out of my way. Needless to say, i will never shop at this location ever again. read more

I am so disappointed in this Dollar tree. I went in yesterday afternoon and the guy in the next line took his mask down and sneezed all over everything hanging on the left side of the belt. It was so disgusting and when a customer reported it, the workers didn't seem to worried about getting everything disinfected. The cashier continued to help this man without saying anything smh. EVERYTHING IS AT MOST A DOLLAR. Some items are even as low as 2 for $1, but I'll always know it's at most $1 for sure. Who doesn't love a dollar store? There's balloons (the good, pretty kind too), foil pans, glass cups, paper plates, cups, spoons, and forks. They got Ziploc bags and water and soda! The list is endless. My second favorite location because it's by my house. My favorite one is in Rosemead where Target is because that Dollar Tree is gigantic! I had a terrible evening tonight when I came back to store #1882 to exchange an unopened Parmesan cheese. I told the guy who stood in the front who was the manager named Robert. He refused to do an exchange stating that I probably injected some fluids into the bottle when it is obviously an unopened bottle and it's completely sealed!! He said his boss doesn't allow them to exchange food items! I knew he was lying right at the beginning because I did exchanges before. Dollar tree still kept the money while I just get an item that I need! When I told him you were just lying that's not true he kept on saying you're not my boss you're not telling me what to do blah blah blah. I was angry so I asked him what is the contact number to his boss, I wanted to report him and his behavior! He needs to get disciplinary actions and if he refuses to correct his action he deserves to be terminate from the position because he's not serving customers. Since he refused to give it to me and asked me to go to the website dollartree.com. I found dollar tree Rosemead location and I called the number and asked before I went into the store and got my exchange done! However, I was extremely upset because I needed to drive all the way to Rosemead location when I just live across the street from this location. According to California law when the receipt has clearly stated "we will gladly exchange any unopened item with original receipt", the retailer needs to do the work! Robert was one sidedly got his boss into a trouble when he refused to follow the law! If he is not serving customers, he is not taking care of the business. He doesn't even deserve to be a store associate not even mentioned to be a manager! What is he managing when he's not taking care of the work? What is he operating when he's not doing what he supposed to do during work time?? I called the cooperate number and complained, but it was a recording machine so I doubt how efficiently do Dollar Tree takes care the case. For all of you who are reading this, I will write down the corporate number is (757)321-5000 because you might need it. I bought a lot of things from dollar tree, because I got a lot of supplies for my work. Robert's bad customer attitude is a big issue. It is not just a dollar issue; but is about following company's policy, appropriate work conduct and approach, serving customers correctly with courtesy, and abide to California law! One of the smaller Dollar Tree locations I have been to. Squeezed in between other stores, you can easily miss it. This plaza is always jam packed with cars on the weekend. This location is really close to Sunday, so the parking in this area of the plaza is always hard to find. Came in, found the stuff I needed and was in and out quickly. read more

I didn't realize how often I came here for party decors and birthday cards! I used to think that everything you buy from here is low quality just because they are so cheap. But that's really not the case. If you want birthday balloons, come here. They have such a wide selection to choose from, plus the balloons don't even look like they are a $1! Plus plus! Except, it's weird, Dollar Tree has periods where it doesn't have hydrogen to blow their balloons. And this happens at all store locations. The only downside of this location is that they have a limited selection of birthday cards. The one located on Atlantic across from the Monterey Park fountain(I forgot the name...Crescent something?) has much more designs to choose from. So go there for your card needs. But, I really wasn't about to drive to another location just to get a $0.50 card. Literally, all my DIY crafts and supplies come from here. Whenever I make floral headbands, I come here to get my flowers. They are $1 per bouquet as well. And if you need string, candles, candle holders, centerpieces, (you name it) Dollar Tree has got you covered any day. Dollar Tree also sells foods, frozen or dry, and lots of seasoning powders.
