This store is a disgusting mess - the most untidy, miserable, dump of a store I've ever been in. Often empty shelves and merchandise strewn all over the place instead of being neatly arranged and displayed. Why shop there? I'm ashamed to say I live only a few blocks away and for convenience drop by occasionally to pick up an item or two. I can only wonder why the owner / management don't do something to clean and organize this junk pile of a " store." Apparently, there's no attempt to keep the shelves supplied or tidy and there often are large shipping boxes stacked high in the middle of aisles, posing a danger to customers ( especially children) who might accidentally bump into them and send boxes tumbling to the floor. A well run store would have the cartons emptied and items shelved before business hours. As long as this store has enough customers to keep the business going I believe nothing will be done to improve the appearance of the store or the manner in which it's operated. This morning I was there to make a quick purchase of two items - a greeting card and a calendar. It was too early for the store to be very busy, and there was only one cashier on duty. I was in line directly behind a woman whose final bill was $198.00. It takes a long time to ring up almost $200 of dollar store items. Nevertheless, no one opened an additional cash register until all $198 of the items had been rung up. Ironically, just at that point, a man, who I think is the manager, opened another register. Too late to help me or the several people behind me who were trying to buy only a few items and get out of there. This store is not customer friendly and if it were located in a decent area it likely, and deservedly, would go belly up. Less than 2 miles down the road, in Annandale, VA, is another dollar store that is well stocked, neat, clean and welcoming. Those of us with our own transportation should head on down there and patronize a business that shows its respect and appreciation for its customers. read more

I love Dollar Tree for many reasons. Mostly because they're located all across the country and CHEAP! They have a lot of variety and it's always fun to find something unexpected. The cons of this location though include: SLOW checkout, too few registers open, and it's difficult to find parking. So there are pluses and minuses but it works. Just gotta be patient and NEVER in a rush when you visit this strip mall location. read more

12/22/19 The Dollar Tree was pretty busy with lots of people doing their Christmas shopping. I liked some of the boots I saw women wearing. The section where the Christmas bags would be were getting picked clean. All of the larger bags were gone if they were ever there in the first place. I did not see much of the store because what we needed were near the front of the store. Still, the place seems nice and spacious. The staff members I saw looked tired... About a 2.5: This Dollar Tree, while the busiest, has a hard time keeping items stocked and organized. Since this one is closer to where I live, it's easier for me to pop-in to pick up some last minute things. I usually stick to the Teacher's Corner, where they have stickers, some posters, and little award certificates, as well as the stuffed toys/prize section. The greeting cards are also a great deal, some 2 for $1, and others for only a dollar. I just wished this place maintained itself well! In general, I LOVE Dollar Trees. I think they give you such quality items for $1 and you can find almost everything you would want here. I always check Dollar Tree before buying things from Walmart and other stores. You'd be surprised what you'd find here! For this particular Dollar Tree, I think it's a bit messy...things are often scattered on the shelves and the aisles are unkempt. It's not very well organized. The people that work here are also not the friendliest. Like any dollar store, not everything works well when you buy it for $1. I came here because I needed a floral crown for an event and wandered in this place. Thank you Dollar Store for coming through and having selection to choose from. They apparently need help filling up the shelves for some items because there were a lot of them that were scarce. So a tip to management, you want increased revenues, put more stuff on the shelf. In addition, the place just needs to be a little cleaner and neater. I've been to a lot of dollar trees and this one definitely needs help. I like to be relaxed when I go to store and everything seems to be in its place and has some type of organization. Overall, I got what I needed and am happy with my purchase. My Mom took me to this place when I went up to Connecticut because she mentioned it was a great place to pick up small items on the cheap -- like toiletries and cleaning supplies. So, I went online and learned to my surprise there was one of these stores near me in VA. I had no idea what I was missing out on all of these years. Here I was, paying ridiculous prices at chain supermarkets for shit I could have paid A DOLLAR for! Not only do they carry the aforementioned toiletries and cleaning products but they sell boxes of Junior Mints and Malted Milk Balls (the size they sell at the movies) for A DOLLAR! Now how can you beat that? To be fair, I have to dock a star because the shopping center where this place is located can be a pain in the ass to get in and out of (especially on the weekends) and the store tends to be crowded with long lines. I can get a good deal on cleaning, kitchen, and gift wrapping supplies. That is, why go to a big grocery chain and pay $2.50 for a 25 ounce bottle of dishwashing liquid when you can get it for a buck at Dollar Tree? It pays to take time to do some research before shopping at any dollar store. Its a little weird that my favorite place to shop is the Dollar Tree, but I just love seeing what I can find and how badly I've been ripped off by CVS! Yesterday, I found 2-pack Scotch type (designer brand baby!), thumb tacks, large envelops, and tupperware at the Dollar Tree. It also took a lot of will power to walk away from the $1 assortment of candies including Sixlet and Hot Tamales. My only wish is there is a dollar tree in the city. read more

I really like this dollar store because it is like the only one near me. The things are pretty well especially the whiteout, scotch tape, and seasonal things are cute. Unfortunately they took out this 50 cents "big cookie" they used to have :(. The only reason I took one star off is because it is too crowded most of the time and there are not many cashiers. The parking lot is also EXTREMELY crowded because they share it with Shoppers, Ross, and other stores and I usually have someone wait with my car in the front.
