We stopped in at one of Aberdeen's Dollar Tree stores, on Simpson Ave, to a little shopping. Wow, this store has so much more than ours in Chehalis carries! The staff was friendly, helpful, and pleasant. I found a few things I really needed! The store itself is quite large and everything was neat and tidy. When you are travelling to the middle of nowhere for a weekend getaway and find yourself (well, your wife) in need of some very specific items for a nail bed abscess and the pharmacy is closed in Raymond, Washington, you might just find your happy arse driving up to Aberdeen. Artic? Really?....Cosmopolis?? Double really? Oh, and let's add to what is turning into a situation comedy...I am in my kilt, wearing leather and chains...all rocked out for an appearance later on. So we walk into the Dollar Tree, and I am definitely the only pierced 6ft 2 in lad in a skirt. Sorry locals, I left my cammo, Breaking Bad hoodie, meth, and despair at home. Sorry that I couldn't blend in better for y'all. This store was very poorly stocked. Shelves in the Health / Beauty section were very sparsely stocked. What few items they had, were misplaced. Stock clerk was more into his iPod than his job. Asking him where an item was located was akin to being involved in a dialogue in a Cheech and Chong flick. We managed to find a few needed things here, but damn it wasn't easy. With all of the Christmas decorations, dismal setting, and multiple depressed and gacked out meth heads, this is one location that should be avoided. read more

I frequently shop here. Good prices on gift wrap and cards. Also like jimmy dean breakfast muffins. It's a dollar store folks, not Nordstrom's. Most staff is friendly. Sometimes lines are long. Just have to go when it's less busy. Occasionally things strewn around but is more the fault of customers that inconsiderate. For the value I'll put up with those minor issues. read more

Decent store, some rude staff. I have been here before and the staff has been nice. This time, though, it was a different story. I had a few items to check out and one of the check stands appeared open so I walked up. The cashier, a blonde, overweight, middle-aged women, was pricing some items (Christal according to the receipt). She appeared inconvenienced and she shook her head as if she was unavailable. So I stepped away to another register. She then asked if she could help me. So I stepped back into her lane. She silently started to check out my items. I put my card in to pay for my items, then she spoke up and asked me if I wanted a receipt. I replied "Yes, please". She handed me the receipt which I tucked into my purse and I prepared to leave. She then said "Have a nice day" to which I replied, "Thank-you". She then rudely said "It's a little late, isn't it?" It used to be that cashiers would acknowledge customers and thank them for their business. The rude comment at the end was uncalled for. I'll need to start checking out the other area dollar stores. I've been going to this one for awhile, but if rude behavior is what a customer would expect, time to move on. read more

I am a fan because I appreciate this store for keeping prices low on specific items that I use. The same things at any other store range from 2x to 10x more in price. I never go there for the ambiance or because I think I will have a speedy check-out. For a better selection and a lot more money, I go to Rite Aid which is only (2?) blocks away. Dollar stores anywhere in the country are hit & miss. Living down in Texas, they were quite literally everywhere. The manager of one told me that they have to take whatever the truck brings them. I used to enjoy this Dollar Tree as it has a lot of merchandise that is displayed well...that is until yesterday when a manager and a clerk accused me of stealing. I'm a teacher purchasing needed items for my class. I didn't want to hold the cashier's line up to look for some lanyards so I explained the situation to her, paid for what I had, and then looked for the lanyards which were apparently out of stock. I told the cashier-she said they must be out of stock so I left...only to be followed a minute later by a different clerk and a manager. REALLY??? If I had shoplifted would I be sitting outside in my brand new pick up calling home? After I showed them my receipt one would think that they would say sorry for the inconvenience or something...but no. When I got home my husband was outraged and tried to call the store only to be hung up on twice. So I won't be shopping there anytime soon. read more

I use to like shopping at Dollar Stores, its no longer a Dollar store, have you noticed the quality in the stores? The bottles of cleaning solutions have become smaller! and prices have gone up, what use to be 64 fluid oz Laundry soap and fabric softener is now 42oz and we are paying more! People of the Dollar Tree are getting greedy at our expense. I will no longer buy at any DollarTree store. I hope people will notice and stop shopping at these stores. read more

I just stepped on broken glass in the aisle by the party supplies at the dollar tree. While in line, I told the cashier that there was glass on the floor and that I had stepped on it. She said yes she knows there's glass on the floor but there's nothing she can do about it since she is busy. She said she was waiting on a cleaning crew to come in to work. Call me crazy, but I think the priority should be cleaning up the broken glass all over the floor, not checking people out. There was a toddler nearby crawling on the floor for crying out loud. read more

There store is amazing! They have almost everything. Their employees are helpful and friendly also talkative with there customers

Fully stocked store and friendly staff. It's a convenient stop before heading to the beach. The downside is I've been to this location several times and the restroom smells like urine and there hasn't been soap in the bathroom. I've had to use sanitizer from my purse. My question is why are the employees using the restroom without washing their hands with soap. read more

Very crummy store to shop at. The employees act like you are imposing on them and wasting their time, then they have a line open with a lot of people and suddenly the cashier decides to close leaving every one to figure out where else to check out. Then they have no public restroom like they use to and when asked why it was closed i was informed they are not required to have one since they don't serve food, well other businesses have one that does not serve food. went shopping on saturday the 27th. store very busy. shelves were a little empty. store was organized. bought my usual items. when checking out cashier was very polite@quick, i might ad. this store, in my opinion, is a very good store if you want to save money. its in a very good location@most of the staff there are very friendly. this is my favorite store to shop in aberdeen. im a senior@disabled and dont get out much, butthis store is very handy to me for it saves me money. for the people that give this store a bad review, they need to open up there mind a bit and appreciate what this store has to offer. it will save you money. thats it for this time@ty. dollar tree, how about a gift card. i could use one if your able. ty again. read more
