I go here because there isn't any decent pharmacies in the area. I moved here from a nearby state & was shocked to find that some of the major pharmacies in this county don't even answer their phones. None of the pharmacies in this area go over your medications. Don't expect anything but the apathetic customer service & you won't be disappointed. It's a given that you'll usually wait a long time at the store for a prescription that was called in and it will cost more than the mail pharmacy. But with a new prescription sometimes it seems worth it to get the med same day. Just remember to use Good Rx because for my husband's new drug, zonisamide, rite aide sells a more expensive generic and you'll need the coupon. They don't remind you about good Rx like in the commercials. Also, when I transferred it later to our usual pharmacy, Postal Prescription Service, Rite Aid didn't respond to them which resulted in the wrong doctor being called, the wrong dose being filled, and a delay resulting in running out. read more

The worst pharmacy in GH. It takes multiple calls to get your refills because they don't put in for them when you all the first or even second time. Then the staff get irritated when you call multiple days in a row to see if your prescriptions are ready! They are very rude to customers. I have even heard them trash customers behind the counter for calling, yet that is their job. I am forced to use Rite Aid because they take Tricare and no one else around here does. My hands are tied. Patients should not get scolded by staff for requesting refill requests or calling several times because they are not doing their job. They have even filled a prescription for me with the incorrect dose! And when I asked them about it they denied it yet I had the bottle in hand! I waited in the drive-thru pharmacy line for 10 minutes. I was behind three cars. Nobody came to help any of us. No acknowledgement of us at all. I finally left. This pharmacy has gone from good to awful! read more

Can you change your pharmacy hours on line and on your automated messaging system!?!? It is telling us the pharmacy opens at 0800 when in all actuality it is 0900. One visit, just one I would like to have go smooth in picking up my prescription. I go yesterday, yes you have a prescription ready, of course they jack up my insurance AGAIN and sat 'just a couple of minutes', 20 later (mind you it's generally at minimum an hour to pick up prescriptions here). I go and ask if I can just pick up with my other prescription when ready, 'I dont see anything for you' PEOPLE ARE SICK, CAN WE HAVE SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION BEHIND THE WINDOW!?!? I have 2 prescriptions which are supposed to be on automatic refill every 90 days and at the same time. We got a reminder call that they were ready, however, only one was available at pick-up. A week later and heart meds still not ready. I did have an emergency supply which was used up 2 days ago. I called for a refill and was told it would be ready that day at 1 p.m. It takes an hour one way to get to the store, which I did only to be told it wouldn't be ready till "maybe tomorrow". They couldn't fill it while I waited (?). The clerk told me "Sorry, we're short handed". LISTEN PAM, OR WHOEVER YOU ARE. YOU ARE DEALING WITH PEOPLE'S LIVES!! Along with physicians you have a responsibility to the public for their well-being. You owe me for over the almost 4 hour's drive time for the 2 extra trips, fuel, stress for me and my husband who has cancer who had to deal with the upset as well. If you can't run a business you shouldn't be in it. You had 90 days to fill these prescriptions! What would you do? Don't bother me with your superficial claims of sympathy. A couple of weeks ago I was visiting Ocean Shores. I was a couple of weeks out from COVID but suddenly started to have trouble breathing because of complications from asthma. My doctor called in some things to help me...when she asked which pharmacy I suggested the Rite Aid in Hoquiam bc they are a chain and I knew they were open on Saturday. Things got worse quickly so we decided to head home. On the way home we stopped at Rite Aid to pick up the medications that would help me breathe. It was serious as I ended up going to the ER after that. My mom went inside to get the meds for me as I was not able to...the pharmacy staff basically told her tough luck. They said "it could be 2 hours or 2 days" before my prescriptions were filled. My mom explained that I was actively having trouble breathing and that the steroid and inhaler I was prescribed would help me. They didn't care and didn't do anything differently. I understand that this is a crazy time for pharmacies but there has to be a way to triage health needs. If they said we'll start it now but it'll be 30 minutes or an hour I could understand. But to provide no guidance on wait times when someone is actually in distress seems a little ridiculous. 10/10 would NOT recommend. Usually i have a good time shopping here, today when taking my items to the counter to purchase the lady was extremely unfriendly and tossed my things around the counter and into the bag without care. One of my items had an obviously placed security sticker on it that she overlooked because she was throwing my things in the bag. When i walked out of course the security alarm went off because of it, she never apologized or said anything but immediately picked up her phone to make a call? I told her it was probably the sticker and she deactivated it and i walked out. Really weird and rude customer service. read more

I will have to say, I am not always awesome when I go into the place, being sick, suffering from constant pain. I am moving my prescriptions tomorrow. Recently picked up 200.00 worth of medicines that my dog will have to be taking every month for the rest of his life. Ran back in an hour later to get a diving mask for my grandson who had swim lessons. The diving mask did not fit so it was basically useless. So I save the mask, all packaging and the sales slip to return it. I go back today for the refill of the expensive dog medicine and apparently the receipt that I saved was for the meds and NOT the diving mask. so they said no. Now the mask only cost 7.00, but the lousy attitude and the clerk refusing to even look up the purchase on the phone number (they keep for each purchase) just showed that they could give a care less about customer service. Like I said, for 7.00 they will now lose 200.00 per month. I would NOT recommend this pharmacy, as there are local ones where the staff will go out of their way for you. read more
