They have a giant area filled with candy. They have so much more and its definitely worth a stop. They do have items that are $5 and under. I did see some items that were $7, $10, and $15. When you checkout, they have self checkout areas. When you walk in, staff greets you. When you check out, staff asks if you found everything or need any help. The store was very clean and organized. Sadly, the home section is super small here. They did have a lot of salt lamps, and I saw some nice book end ones. I did not see other types of crystals though. However, I was super excited when I stopped by the jewelry section. I saw necklaces with some of my favorite semi-precious stones. I also saw a lot of bracelets as well. I ended up purchasing this adorable bracelet for only $14 on sale. It was one of my favorite stone adventurine and it had a turtle on it. It looked very beachy. I saw a super cool Tigers eye bracelet as well. A lot of these necklaces and bracelets were on sale, with many only at $13 a piece. I wanted to buy so many to be honest, but ended up choosing the one for now. I want to come back another day for some more.

TJ Maxx carries such a wide variety of premium skincare products, including Clinique, Estée Lauder, and Shiseido. I bought some organic cleanser that was significantly less expensive than what it was listed for on Amazon and high-end department stores. I have also bought gourmet food products like truffle oil, pesto, and pasta. I was a late fan and didn't really start shopping at TJ Maxx until around five years ago. TJ Maxx has been one of my favorite places to shop during the pandemic. I can pretty much find anything I'm looking for here.

I needed to find 10 that I could donate. I remember back in the beginning of my yoga practice, gosh nearly 10 years ago now, that many people purchased beginner yoga mats at $5 Below. When I became a teacher, I too told students that you could purchase mats at this store and that they were super affordable. All these years later they still carry yoga mats and they are still only $5! And in all honesty- they are even better! I stopped into this location and was happy to find 10 mats. They actually had a ton of them. They had them in 5 different patterns too, how cool. The dimensions of the yoga mats are standard size, 24inx68inx.24in. That's a great thickness for a yoga mat, enough cushion and support without being too bulky. This store was super clean and organized, the stock and shelves were full and neatly faced. The 2 female employees were super friendly and welcoming. The cashier asked if I was yoga teacher and why I was buying so many mats. I told her I'm donating them to Detroit schools to bring yoga to our youth. She shared with me that she too went to Detroit schools, in her youth. She thanked me for what I was doing. I couldn't help but smile, heart happy. Highly recommend this $5 Below. Great place for inexpensive gifts, especially for kids birthday gifts. Tons of books and activity books for kids and adults. Once it was installed I realized how much everything else needed to be replaced as well and didn't even look anywhere else because I knew these guys would save me a ton and they have the newest products that are still in store at HD and Lowe's. I bought a washer & dryer, dishwasher and stove. For this order I didn't even go to the store, I worked with Han via Facebook chat and paid over the phone. She showed me pictures and made sure we were getting everything we wanted, and for an amazing price. No way we could have afford all of that if it wasn't for this place. They are extremely reliable and professional which is such a relief compared to some of the reviews from other discount appliance places that had me worried. It's hard to see in the pictures if there are any scratches and dents visible so I'll share incase you're wondering and looking; there's none on any of the visible surfaces in my home, so no one would know. They were able to get me the right ones that the dent or scratch would face a wall no one would see. :) I also love that it's a small family business, they work so hard together and they're really genuine people. Such a nice change from Lowe's that you don't know who to contact or when they're showing up. They communicate the whole way and show up when they say they are.
