Solo Furniture is an interesting place to visit. If you are looking for home and business…read morefurnishings and accessories, this place is worth checking out. They seem to buy used hotel furnishings and accessories at wholesale and then resale them to the public at a fraction of the cost. I did say "used", so there may be some condition issues, but I think those issues add to the character and charm of each piece. Keep in mind, those cool pieces of art, or floor to ceiling mirrors, floating table stands, bed frames and lamps with outlets and internet ports built in, that you see at the nicer hotels, are some of the things that Solo sells. As far as the condition of items, nothing a little elbow grease or those who are artistically gifted, some paint to transform your piece into your own.

It looks a little sketchy.. but I promise once you go inside you will instantly forget that you were even a tiny bit unsure. There are items for days. Every thing has a price clearly marked. There are about 1000 rooms. There is basement with several rooms. Piles and piles of stuff. This is a place you can get lost in for hours. So dont come here on a schedule come with an open mind and a truck!! lol Sometimes you will find brand new items. And for the most part Hotels purchase quality items.. so to get some of these itmes for 20, 30, 40 dollars.

This place really captured it correctly when it picked its name. You will not forget this place…read moreonce your visit it. You walk in and are transported into many different lands. This place is multi-level and can take quite some time to explore. If you are looking for items for a fairy garden, you will definitely find it here. Honestly, there is so much in here that it can be overstimulating. I know I wandered about this space for quite some time and contemplated buying so many items in here. Everything miniature you can think of is in this space. A lot of the items in here can possibly be used to construct Christmas villages as well. If I remember correctly I was mesmerized by the Ghostbuster items. I just couldn't justify the prices they were asking for some of the items. In short, this place is quirky and definitely worth a stop if you want to grab a unique gift for someone. Or if you have a little one with you that might want to indulge in some make believe.

Forget-Me-Not has been a staple on Main Street since my childhood. I remember it as the "fairy…read morestore," the "fae store," the "fantasy store," the "Lord of The Rings store," and the "bubble store." I haven't been inside for years and upon entering, it felt as if I was walking into a fantasy book. The walls of the retail store alone are fantasy-like due to having real natural rock structures showcasing products. As if it was a small castle jampacked of gifts and treasures. The building is three stories high and each room a different realm of gifts. Just when you start to feel a genre of the area you are shopping in, it changes completely! When I was a child, I would come in here for the fairy dresses, wands, rocks and small spell books. Now I come here to smile at the nostalgic items of my past shopping experiences and detour to the jewelry, garden fae products and vintage clothes. There is something for everyone here, I promise.

Came here to check out the newest location in Columbia, MD. It was a surprise, but now they have…read moresecurity guards at the entrance, which was very interesting. The store was laid out as the other Ross stores are. I perused the aisles not looking for anything in particular, but maybe something that would catch my eye. They had a good assortment of toiletry, clothing, household, small furniture, and snack items at pretty reasonable prices. Like most stores now, you have to bring your reusable bag to place your purchases in, or you can buy a cheap one from them. This location was ok, but I gather, since it is a new location, a bunch of folks come here often, as the stock was not as plentiful as I had seen at other stores of recent. Checkout was hassle free and the associate was very pleasant. All in all, if this is the nearest location to you, half at it. Otherwise, and if you are able, check out other Ross locations as the inventory varies.

The overall inventory is good…read more Every time I have been to Ross on a specific mission, I've found what I've been looking for. The housewares department has a lot of decent items one would wish for in their home. The staff I interacted with were super friendly. I'd say the only real drawback is that there has only been 1 register open when I've visited and once I stood in a substantial line. Otherwise, I'll be back. There's a mirror I was eying my most recent visit and I'd like to see if it's still there. If so, I'll buy it.
