He sold 3 items in less than 5 minutes. Seventy different vendors showcase their collections. It is obvious that the store's owner has high presentation expectations. You can see each item in display cases. The store isn't cluttered or smell musty. The store doesn't accept AE and I didn't have a check. The store owner called the vendor who accepted Paypal. The vendor delivered my purchase to my hotel. I spent about an hour wandering through this store ... delightful.

The selection is huge, but sometimes the stuff inside really might have been better tossed out. I also don't like areas where there is stuff for sale and stuff not for sale - get the not for sale stuff out of the selling area - this is just a poor business practice. Dead carts, carts not plugged in to charge, carts setting in the parking lot or abandoned because they died somewhere in the store! Other than Tops, Walmart is the ONLY place in town that provides scooter carts. Now, we can't even depend on those! I'd finally had enough the other day after I picked up a nearly dead cart in the parking lot. I went to complain at the Service desk. There were others their with their own issues. The man working behind the counter raised his voice at everyone and told a girl to shut the lights off, which she did. They then walked off and left everyone standing there! I approached a long time employee to discuss my frustration about this ongoing cart issue. Her answer to me? Well, you know, we don't even have to have carts here. We provide them as a service, but we don't have to WOW, just wow! I asked for the managers name so I could address myself to her directly. I was told Colleen but gee, nobody knew her last name! This Wal mart used to be a great place to shop. Under this manager, it's gone down the tubes. Shelves are bare, shopping carts are full of garbage that employees can't be bothered to remove, customers issues are ignored plus so many more issues Soon, the college kids will be back, joy riding through the store on these essential mobility aids and nobody will say a word! Apparently, handicapped shoppers are not needed, welcomed or respected at Walmart Fredonia. My only recourse is to try to bring my own scooter, which I can't unload and load myself, or drive to Hamburg or Lakewood to cleaner, well stocked, customer oriented shopping experience. I was aware that many Amazon products that are returned get sold to liquidators, so I entered the store with expectations of pretty competitive pricing. What I found was a pretty broad collection of cheaper-quality products at, what seemed like retail or near-retail prices. In spite of signage assuring me otherwise, the discounts that I saw just quite didn't rationalize the purchase price for me. After all, some of these products may even be defective Amazon returns and the savings just weren't substantial enough to take that risk. While the products may indeed be acquired through a liquidation sale, or Amazon palette auction model, the price that consumers like me see doesn't quite reflect that. It feels like someone's making a handsome markup here.
