Cashiers are always friendly and during my most recent trip, almost all the registers were open even though I went during an off-peak time (1:30 on a Friday). The new safety precautions make checking out feel safe and easy, as they installed barriers at the checkouts, and floor signage to maintain social distancing. The other shoppers who were there at the same time as me were also respecting social distancing. Overall, this is still a great location and definitely one of the best, if not the best, Wegmans locations in the area!

However not difficult to do if you treat yourself all the time with cookies made here with the cutest designs! This particular trip, I was getting some lavender for making lavender simple syrup. If this is not known, not all lavender plants are culinary lavender, Milly's sells culinary lavender! It smells so good and fresh. Between how popular this store already is and the addition of the Wegmans Wine & Spirits shop in the same plaza, it's usually pretty packed. You might not snag a spot close to the entrance but you'll find a spot. Might I suggest that patience is basically required, as with all things Wegmans. Once inside, I'm almost always overwhelmed (in the best way) by how much there is. Prepared foods, deli counter, meat and seafood, bakery, flowers, produce, frozen foods. You name it, Wegmans has it and they probably have a Wegmans branded version, too. I love browsing the craft beer section and, more recently, the growing selection of non-alcoholic options (Thank you, Wegmans!). Honestly, I can't complain. Yes, Wegmans can feel overwhelming, but now that I don't actually work there anymore, I've grown to appreciate the variety, freshness, quality, and pricing. At one time this Tops location was referred to as an International Tops, due to its huge footprint at the edge of the old Seneca Mall site. They seem to have dropped that designation from their signage. Upon entering the store I was overwhelmed by the massive size of this grocery store and was intimidated, not knowing if I could physically traverse this space. Everything was displayed with the highest degree of convenience, selection, and attractiveness of the products. As with most Tops Friendly markets, there were employees throughout the store stocking shelves, and filling customer pick up orders. I easily found the freshly deep-fried chicken displayed at the front of the deli case. Quite possibly one of my favorite prepared foods from Tops is this fried chicken.

Ah yes, for about $22 a pie or so (they're large) you can order pies for your Thanksgiving and they'll notify you when to pick them up. There's always a long line for pick up so get there early! They have mixed berry and coconut creme pie which are my personal favorite but they also have cherry, raspberry, blueberry, apple, rhubarb, and you can find peach in the summer. There are a couple other flavors, I forget but they also have zucchini bread, carrot cake, pastries, cookies and muffins. Yes, they're delicious. Another reason I come to Bippert's is because I eat a lot of eggs and they carry organic local farm fresh eggs 3 dozen for $16. Yes, I will buy their eggs versus going to the grocery store because there are more recalls on eggs than I care to discuss right now. Buy from your local farmer before the store people! Bippert's carries some fresh produce (whatever is seasonal) and frozen meat. I saw today that they had seedless watermelon and I got sad. I wanted to ask them where they get their watermelon but I forgot. I expected a farm to have seeded but I guess not. What is this world coming to if you can't even get a seeded watermelon at the farm. Anyway, visit them when you can, they're open year-round!
