Want to know some of the local gossip. How such n such is doing. Come here. When ever I am out visiting my mom and step-dad out at the family farm, I my stop in to get a few things, especially the prize winning locally grown and slaughtered meats. Talk about quality and fresh. I think it is the best meat in Ohio, for you carnivores out there. They also have fresh Amish style baked goods, and produce. This market has thrived through good times and hard times. Even with a Kroger super store that opened outside of Heath, or the local Walmart. They can not compare to TCs. So if you are out in Southeast Ohio, stop by this little grocery store and check it out for yourself, you will be pleasantly surprised.

This new modernization came with several key upgrades: a open floor interior that feels spacious and has plenty of options, cleaner bathroom airport-style, a chipotle style spot to order food that's half the price of the music festival food nearby, and tons of other stuff like alcohol/drinks at the normal, non-price gouged prices compared to festival drinks. As for the food, I'll have to say it's better than average for gas station food. They primarily serve in a chipotle style, order as you go takeout with burritos, bowls, chips. It is pretty unsalted but I kind of prefer it that way due to how much salt you get from eating camp food for many days. Price ranges from $5-9 which is much cheaper than at the Legend Valley grounds. Overall I'm posting this so that people know that the old reviews are outdated by several years.

I don't like the claustrophobic feeling because everything is displayed so close together and I HATE the smell of thrift stores. With that being said, this thrift store is different. The lay out is much better. There is actually space to walk without running into things. The quality of merchandise is better. My husband & I bought a BRAND NEW tv stand for $100. AND it was assembled. You can't beat that price. They also have kitchen sets (tables & chairs), couches, loveseats, and just about any type of furniture you can think of. This store is terrible!!!! And it starts at the top with the manager, Cheryl...I'm not sure she knows what she's doing. Maybe this is a 'training' store and they just put people at this store to see how they do, like a test. Because she isn't the first one. This has been a poorly managed store for quite a while now. Before the pandemic!!! The shelves are never stocked well!! Even sale items, or especially sale items?! There is rarely a time that I have gone in there and left without 2, 3 sometimes 4 or more items on my list. The deli employees aren't very friendly but maybe I always catch them after Cheryl's been around with her sourpuss attitude. The problem is that I like the Kroger brand for a lot of items, not everything of course, but I don't particularly want to switch stores even tho I don't think Kroger has the best prices. I was looking for a particular item and they were out of it. Surprise. However, for this item I had even stopped at another Kroger store and they didn't have any either. This is something that I have started having for breakfast every morning and possibly the healthiest thing I eat some days :-) So, I actually got on the manufacturer's website to check and see if I could find some...somewhere. It was kinda late the 1st nite I looked and I didn't have any luck checking the Kroger stores. The next day I got back on the website and low and behold, now it showed that a shipment had been delivered to my local store "within the last 3 days". Yeah. I was thrilled. So, later that evening I went to buy some. Nada, zero, zilch. So, I went to the C/S desk to ask for help. Bless her heart, she tried to find someone to help me, to check and see if they had received a shipment. But, nobody would answer her page. Finally Cheryl called and was too busy to check but said to tell me that they didn't have any. Huh ? Now, I COMPLETLY understand that right now there are extreme circumstances...everywhere!!! I get that!!! I truly do. I also understand that this website I checked could be wrong. Had this been the 1st time I'd been unhappy with her or this store it would be a totally different situation. But it's not. Far from it. Oh and when I went to the store this last time, I left without 5 different things on my list. No, none of the items were cleaning products or toilet paper. And right now, with this pandemic, I only go in for a handful of things at a time. I try to get in and get out. I'm not a germaphobe or anything like that and the area that I live in hasn't had a high number of cases of this virus. But, why chance it. So when I go in for maybe 10 or 12 items and they don't have 5 of them, that's a lot. Now, I do want to point out that the CASHIERS are WONDERFUL!!! Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. It's NOT an Ohio law. It said that some stores might say no because they can't scan the paper ID. I went to the BP on 79 and they had no problem looking at my paper and expired license. They sold me the beer that I wanted without any problem.
